The Flatiron

This was such a delicious spot. We stuck around, nursing our drip coffees after eating just to soak in the friendly service and quaint atmosphere. I enjoyed a delightfully heaping portion of ham, egg, apple, and spinach on a bagel. If you’re looking for tasty, underpriced, fast service, this is your spot.
Don’t forget the fresh bakery goods!

The food was fresh & delightful. The fresh-made pico was scrumptious. I can’t have gluten, but they make fresh scones for those of you who can! Highly recommend stopping in. The place is small, and that represents half the charm. Vintage feel and has a lava lamp too. I thoroughly enjoyed my time.

This place is a breath of fresh air in a manic world. I’d assume the only 1-star reviews for this place were from people who either don’t pay attention to what’s happening around them, or they are entitled and need to be told to be nice. Twice during my visit, I heard the owner stand up for his other customers and his place. Once he told someone to be patient. *sigh* What a joy to hear an owner point out the customer isn’t always right.

Came here as my first stop during a mid-week visit to Jerome. It was a chillier, foggy morning and I was looking for a quick place to warm up & grab some coffee - I ended up staying much longer than anticipated. The space is quant but so charming. Chad welcomes you with such a nice, warm welcome. I grabbed a nice window spot, ordered myself a bold Americano and their ’Really Good’ oatmeal - it was perfect. Simplistic, but well executed - I was instantly transported back to my childhood, reminiscing on grandma’s perfect bowl of oatmeal. Well done, Flatiron.

The owner, Chad, is such a great guy. He makes it feel like you’re visiting a good friend, welcomed into his home, while he cooks you up a heart-warming meal, perfect espresso, and some great convo. As he served the other table their meal, he left them with a “Phones down, forks up.” Loved it.

We geeked about both working in the industry, and as I was about to wrap it up, he pulls a brand new bottle off the shelf behind him - a beautiful Spanish vermouth. He pours us both a taste. It was hands down the highlight of my visit.

Do yourself the favor when you’re in town, and make the stop in. Let Chad know I sent ya!

Had a world class delicious roast beef sandwich for lunch at The Flat Iron today. Beyond the great food and service we picked up a guitar in the corner. I played a song, my friends played a song and the other patron then played a song as well. Talk about a super cool chill experience coupled with a really terrific lunch...simply hard to beat!

What a wonderfully cozy niche serving warm, made to order, comfort food and barista mastered caffeinated concoctions. I felt very welcomed at this establishment and was attended to with a balanced blend of neighborly demeanor and professional care. A great morning start to touring Jerome. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful cafe - right on a sharp corner and full of windows for a lovely view and cozy lighting. Chad and Abby were so friendly, and everything they whipped up behind the counter was delicious! We definitely recommend the "Chad" sandwich 😍

Coffee and food were AWESOME! The couple that own the place were super sweet! Oh and we stayed at thier Air BnB above the shop, my Partner surprised me with a stay there on our road trip. An ABSOLUTE delight!

Relaxed local coffee shop. A welcome refuge in the intensity of touristy shops in the area. They serve local coffee beans, and we loved both espresso drinks. The food was hearty and well made.

Adorable coffee shop and the breakfast salad is so good! My cappuccino looked like a piece of art the way the cinnamon was dusted on top. If you really want a great experience, rent the apartment above The Flatiron from Abby & Chad! We loved our weekend staying at the Flat and the bonus of the Flatiron!

Stopped by this cafe while passing through Jerome. Exactly what you would want a cafe to look like: cozy, sunny and great decor.

Yes it’s a small place but the coffee is worth it!

Amazing service, awesome food, fantastic coffee! We stopped here because the building looked cool, got some coffee, the best blueberry scone I’ve ever had in my life, and some chicken orzo soup. Everything was delicious, wonderful atmosphere and super friendly staff. If you need a little morning pick me up, this place is perfect!

By far the best breakfast in a 100 mile radius. Not only was the adorable blonde, a delight, but the sarcasm of the chef, was hilarious. I have never had such an incredible handmade, breakfast in all my years. There is only 2 places in Jerome that serve breakfast and you need look further than this adorable, paris style cafe, The Flatiron. Do not be misled when you see just a few places to sit, for there is more areas if you just inquire. Thank you for an amazing experience. Your Cornville, SantaFe neighbor.

My friend and I had a lovely time here! It really is a quaint little place with an excellent view for people watching! The service we received was on-point and continuously welcoming and cheerful. The prices were more than reasonable for the quality of the food and coffee. There was music and light dancing, and I will return to this business every time I find myself in Jerome. I didn't get a picture of the sandwich we split because it was too delicious.

While walking through Jerome I found this amazing little breakfast gem. The staff had a zingy personality and was quick on the Witt. I ordered an iced chai tea, which was a sweetbliss upon my tongue. Probably one of the best Chai teas I’ve had in a while. The sitting area is across the street and has a unique view. I found it cute that they call your name out from across the street to collect your grub. The breakfast sandwich was Ana amazing delight. Highly I would recommend stopping to also enjoy the unique environment this place has definitely to offer.

We were walking around the town of Jerome and looking for an espresso. We happened upon this cute cafe. The espresso was top notch and the workers were friendly.

This was a cozy little shop just at the front of this small town. The people working there were super friendly and held a conversation with us. When we got our food, I was floored. The presentation was incredible and it tasted amazing! Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch!
