Dr. Rishika Kaundal, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Kaundal for more than a year now, and she is one of the absolute best primary care physicians I have had in my life. She listens, she cares, and she is willing to help. When she doesn't know something, she is willing to explore and learn in order to provide the best possible care.

Dr Kaundal is amazing! Very personal, very interested in making you healthy and not just masking a symptom so something else then happens to your health. I really appreciate her candid manner and her ability to relate on a human and personal level which some physicians fail at. There is a reason she is hard to get an appointment for and she should stay in high demand!

Dr. Kaundal has helped me make more progress on my mental and physical goals than any other doctor I've ever worked with. After getting fed up with feeling like no one was listening to me, I searched far and wide and found Dr. Kaundal. She really listens to me and took the time to discuss my family medical history as well as mine.

She's so intelligent and the best part about working with her is that she really wants you to be bought into the treatment plan she's suggesting. I never felt bullied and I can always ask so many questions and she answers all of them. She takes her time and I never feel like I'm rushed. Her schedule is also flexible which makes it so easy for me to balance my own healthcare visits with work/life.

I've been under her care for about 6 months and I'm the happiest and healthiest I've ever been. Cannot recommend her more, don't wait, schedule an appointment with her now and see the difference! Seriously.

Dr. Kaundal is wonderful. I moved to VA not too long ago and left my Dr. Of 20+ years. I was so thrilled that I found Dr Kaundal. She stepped right in and has been taking excellent care of me and she makes me feel like I have been coming to her for years.

Dr. Kaundal takes the time to treat the problems and under lying issues not just the symptoms. If you are looking for a doctor to treat your whole person, this is your doctor. At first, she seemed too detailed but I feel better diagnosed and better about my health than I have in decades!

I would like to share how disappointed I'm as a patient of Dr. Kaundal. First I never had the chance to meet her or talk to her, always being pushed to her nurse Christy I believe was her name. Left bunch of voice messages regarding health issues i had in the past and NEVER received a phone call back or any form of message. Today I tested positive for Covid 19, and because they know i have been diagnosed with ASTHMA i tried again to reach out for basic advise to avoid any complications. I'm not freaking out but I'm sad to get to the point to look for a new doctor after I have never seen in person my previous one, that is so down. Doctors like her should be reported to DHP for that kind of behavior, another thing I shouldn't be charged for Doctors visit and seen by a nurse, I think we pay to hear the doctors opinion not the nurse, but that is a whole different subject that I won't waste my time on.
