Clark County Fire District 3 Station 35

I want to say thank you to all first responders first off.

I have to thank the Battle Ground fire department for helping me at their station last Friday.

While framing in a roof, I slipped when I was standing on the rafters running a skil saw. When I slipped, I ended up cutting the top half of my finger off. There’s not much out here for emergency care so I thought I would have my nephew drive me to the station, bleeding ridiculously, I was in shock. The guys asked if they could at least bandage me up to get the bleeding stopped so I could make it to the E R. I was rattled and they knew it and made sure the finger was dressed as well as making sure that I was not driving. I declined their offer multiple times for them to take me the the hospital because they had the bleeding stopped and my nephew was ready to take me in the parking lot. As much as this weekend has been a drag, the Professionals at the station went way above and beyond! We have in our community a fantastic first responders team. I apologize for being long winded, However in this case, I would like to give Praise for the battle ground fire department! Thank you from the Rogers family!

I hear your sirens at 6:30am, but you know what? you are saving lives. You have my respect.

Called because of a potential gas leak in an attic furnace. I barely had enough time to get my car out of the garage before they arrived. Very polite too. Thanks. Bronwen Lee

My baby had an emergency and my wife and him went to hospital by ambulance. I was working they watched my other kids till I got there. Good people. Thanks guys
