Virginia Family Dentistry Brandermill - Woodlake

I’ve been going to Virginia Family Dentistry since the 80s. I love my hygienist, Yolanda, she was so gentle, kind, and careful with me. I have a lot of health issues and she maneuvered around them like a champion that she is. My teeth looked amazing when she was done. I’ve been unable to see the dentist and hygienist for a year due to chemo treatments. Yolanda was absolutely the best and why I continue my dental care at this practice.

The front staff is OUTSTANDING! They are super helpful, friendly, kind and professional! The Dental Hygienist was fantastic. She eased my daughter's nerves, was gentle, kind and extremely informative. I can't remember her name but she had her room decorated with butterflies! I will definitely request her in the future.

Dr. Mule saw me quick and cared for my broken tooth/filling so carefully and gave me great health tips. Her and Denise worked so well together and were both so friendly. Great team :)

Dr Wong and his assistant did a great job with the minor procedure I had done. I had quite a bit of dental anxiety and in the end it really wasn’t that bad. They took plenty of time to explain everything throughout the process, made sure you were comfortable, etc. Great practice, great people. Thanks again for helping me overcome my anxiety.

Dr. Estill is AMAZING! I chipped my front tooth and you can't even tell where he fixed it... I was even able to get a same day emergency appointment. He is hands down one of the best dentist!

Best dental practice in Richmond! Professional, thorough, gentle, and works with you through whatever dental issue you have. Friendly staff and well trained clinicians. Highly recommend! I have been a patient for over 20 years!

My first experience was awesome. Dr. Doss and team were so pleasant and friendly. They all made me feel very welcome. See you all at my 6 month check up in September.

Out of all the regular check ups we are expected to receive the dentist has always been my most dreaded. I had phoned the office earlier last week in hopes of being fit into the schedule…. Although they had nothing available Jordan assured me if there was a cancellation she would phone me. Do you know how often patients are told this and then there’s never any follow through? Jordan reached out to me the morning of the day I said I would be available and said she could fit me in later in the day…. Wow! I was so impressed with her follow up and willingness to want to help me! Upon my arrival everyone in the office was welcoming and quick to get me checked in. Lisa came and grabbed me from the waiting room and really took the time to review what I had going on and the plan of care she suspected we would take… all to be confirmed by Dr Mulé upon her entry… Dr Mulé even ensured my plan of care encompasses addressing the anxiety I have surrounding my dental visits! Today wasn’t pleasant due to my own neglect but from Jordan’s follow up to Lisa’s help, sweet approach and hard work, and Dr Mulé’s patience everyone really turned around what I thought would inevitably be an awful experience. Thank you so much to your team! I look forward to future visits with your practice.

Dr. Estill explained my procedure in a way that was easily understandable. He made sure I was comfortable and pain free. I could not have asked for a better experience for something I was really dreading.

I am a new patient at Virginia Family Dentistry. I wanted to switch dentists and my parents have been going to different dentists at this location for several years.

Everyone was friendly and helpful setting up a new patient appointment with Dr Katherine Doss, DDS.
Her dental assistant was extremely kind and patient with me while taking X-rays of my mouth - something that I have a hard time with.
Dr. Doss happily told me that I have no cavities or gum issues.
It was a great check-up.

I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone that has some anxiety about dentist and doctor visits. I felt completely comfortable.

Dr Varner was a pleasure to meet as well as her dental assistant. Very informative making sure we had an understanding of the process and need for braces for our daughter. The people at this location were very nice.

I broke a tooth today and haven’t been to the practice in 4 years. I called & described my situation and EVERYONE couldn’t have been more accommodating and nicer to me, 20 mins later I was in a chair and being treated. Amazing !! Thank you to all the staff and Dr Doss !
