This place is open 24 hours and is always clean and pleasant and the security guy during the day really makes you feel safe

Have been to this place numerous times. I prefer to go after midnight with the cheaper drying but occasionally I go in the day. During the day, there is a person who tries to keep the area clean. The nights I have gone, it has been generally clean. Overall it's a good place to go wash your clothes if you can't do it at home.

This place is cheaper than others. Be aware... they don't use Quarters! You buy a card with dollars from a machine in the laundromat. If you put $20 on the card you get $2 free on the card. Midnight to 7 AM you can dry your clothes for a penny (one penny =5 minutes). It is very well lit inside at night, not so well lit outside. Definitely worth going if you need to knock out your families laundry in a short amount of time. We washed, dried, and folded 7 loads of laundry in 1.5 hours. Good quality washers and dryers. Bonus: It has a small play area for younger kids (toddler age) but not many toys in it.

Not the best area especially in the middle of the night but I really enjoy going here because after midnite it's a penny to dry. Until 7am. Not too many people in there u just have to get past the homeless hanging around inside and out . They don't bother u tho. Just ask for a cigarette every now and again

Ok everyone so a few weeks ago my dryer started going crazy lol, it dries clothes but it rumbles out of control. I couldnt stand the noise anymore so I washed all of my clothes at home and then took them over to the wash house to dry. When it walked in there was plenty if space for all patrons and plenty of clean washers and dryers of different sizes per the needs you may have. I did notice the floor was littered with old dryer sheets and trash, but not too long after that some started cleaning. I dont know about other laundry places but its very cheep. 30 cents for 6 min. Over all I had a great experience and the other customers were polite and in good spirits. The WASH HOUSE GETS AN A+

Been going there for 4 years always nice and clean

Attendant is very helpful and nice. He really watches the place and makes sure things are in order. They have te right capacity washers and dryers. I go to wash my comforter and pillows and can always do it in one load for $8. They are 24hrs and have a late night drying special .01 drying midnight to 7am.

they also have free wifi.. who doesn't like free wifi

I go there every Saturday or Sunday to wash my clothes the machines are very reasonable, they get your clothes clean ,they have TVs there so you can watch, vending machines in case you get hungry while you're there, plenty of parking, and they have a laundry attendant there at all times

I was hesitant to go to the Wash house in Victory Blvd. after I reading some of the reviews. I went anyway. Seldom go laundry place so I am not familiar wit the card system. Placed $20 and got me a card. Read the tip posted on the wall to quickly insert the card. Tried to insert the card several times but each time I will do it would instruct me to re-insert. After several failed attempts another light came out indicating that I have "low funds." How could this happen? I'm getting frustrated. I look for the person manning the Wash house. I explained to Vance what actually happened. He made a phone call outside to report the incident. I was very impressed on how this incident was handled. The man from outside talked to me and even assured me that they will take care of it. My kudos go to Vance!!!!! He delivered what the man from outside and him have talked and agreed upon. I was able to accomplish the things that I want to do that night and went home very satisfied.

This is by far the very best laudromatt I have been to in Portsmouth, VA. Best to come with an open mind and be ready to get a laundry card. Machines can do a lot with little soap, and dryers dry very well the portions they are made to take. Great Job Wash House!

Excellent and helpful staff at this very clean, well kept laundromat. I actually pass by two other laundromats just to go to this one! Wednesday is half off day 😉

Its better than SoapNSuds. Went in got a new Wash Card and loaded two loads and had them both washing. And was walking out within 5 mins.

Very decent place to wash you clothes in the late hours. The dryer's are one cent late night. No problem washing clothes. Everything was operating properly.

Extra capacity washers and dryers made doing bed covers a breeze, I was finished in about one hour with two large loads that would have taken half a day at home

We had use the laundromat because we had to wait on a knob on for our dryer. This laundromat was nice and clean. I will definitely use this place again
