Brixens has a great downtown classy feel with modern touches. The service was great! We were greated immediately, and it really set the tone for the night. Gisele at the front was so amazing! We got the table we preferred and the great service just continued. You order by I pad, which is a cool touch. The drinks are great and the food tastes as good as it looks! We will definitely be back here often!

This is a solid place to grab a good meal, a beer and/or a cocktail. There are fantastic shareables and starter appetizers on the menu. I really love the fried olives and my husband enjoyed the salt and pepper wings. Sunday is happy hour all day so it’s a fantastic time to try a new appetizer at a discount and not have to worry about paying for metered parking in the downtown area. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and return again and again.

A really fun atmosphere, it stands out on the corner of the main street with lights and cool decor. Very clean and modern, with lots of TVs. The nachos were amazing, and bigger than expected! Great local beer selection, and fun original cocktails too. Highly recommend!

Best avocado toast I have ever had. The Brussels sprouts were delicious and crispy. Very happy with my visit for brunch today and I will DEFINITELY be back. Service is a bit slow, but totally worth the wait for the quality. ☺💛

Edit: I came in today (my birthday) for a little snack and a tasty drink and the service was absolutely amazing! Kaitlin was very kind and even got me little to go cups for my left over dipping sauces. I got the blackberry basil margarita and fried pickles and both ROCKED! Best little birthday trip.

Yum! We were visiting on business and ate kinda late after hitting the Sandia Peak Tram. The brussel sprouts were amazing. Also shared the hummus plate and nachos with friends. The fried olives on the hummus plate were a special delight!! Had the chicken sandwich and it was ok but not special; my drink was fantastic. Buuuuuut let's talk about the chicken and waffles omg! My friend had the last plate of the night and it was DELICIOUS. Cool vibe, the menus were tablets (fun feature of "reading more "). Appreciated the door man staying outside with us while we waited for our Uber; we felt safer, thank you! Would definitely recommend to friends! 👍

We're in town to see the area for a potential job relocation and decided on a late dinner here at Brixens - wow! Everything was great! Our server, Ian, is one of the best we've ever had - conversational, friendly, knowledgeable, patient (we couldn't make up our minds on what we wanted to try first), and efficient.

The menu boasts that everything is made from scratch so it will take a bit longer to get your meal but that's fine by us! They also mentioned using sustainability sourced seafood, antibiotic free chickens and something about the beef too (cannot remember) so you feel better about eating here.

I feel like Chef Ramsey would be so pleased with this place. Food was flavorful, unique, good portions, and the menu wasn't too big or complicated.

Oh! Speaking of the menu, since it's on a tablet, you get a brief description of the item and can click on it for more info which includes allergen and dietary info as well as a more detailed description (even for drinks!).

The only thing I didn't like was that it was just a little loud for my preference but it's one big open room. This doesn't deter me from a 5 star score or from going again.

Thank you Brixens! Hope to see you again soon!

Spot on music in a fun atmosphere and ridiculously good food. Sliders are incredible, and those cajun fries are poppin. Tacos (citrus fish and red brisket!!) are a perfect intro to ABQ food too. Plus they have live performers up top overlooking the place, so rad!

Stopped in for a quick bite and a few beers. Waitress was friendly and attentive. They had a good selection of local beers. I ordered the grilled cheese dunkers w/ tomato bisque. Both were delicious and the added walnut pesto to the bisque was a great touch.

Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere! We attended on a Thursday evening and karaoke was all the rave. I love the concept of their menu; wish more restaurants used technology for digital menus. The portions are really big (for example, appetizer wings is a 8-count). We had the brisket panini and chicken panini. Both were packed with flavor and the green chiles with the chicken panini greatly kicked up the flavor profile. Wish these were in Texas!

This bar is excellent! The atmosphere is top notch and the music and servers make this place a classy place. The cocktail menu is incredible. We didn’t eat but the food looked delicious. I can’t wait to come back. I can’t say enough about the atmosphere.

With a chic yet hearty minimalism, Brixens brings it home with an authentic flair that you might find only in burgeoning Sacramento, CA or Chicago.

This place is something special. Views of downtown ABQ while you dine, the comfort of a beautiful brick wall behind you.

The food is creative and delicious and their attention to detail is what sets them apart from the competition.
(Their martini has salt on one side...if you prefer a sip without salt, at least they give you the option)

I had the Chimi Burger. Cooked to order beef and chili rolled into a tortilla and deep fried! DELICIOUS. The burger comes with creamy and robust red and green chilis on the side.

Try their Brussel Sprouts! You will not be disappointed.

This venue stole my heart and I highly recommend this place. I cannot wait to go back to try more of their menu.

Go to Brixens!

This unique and trendy new restaurant-bar is nestled in downtown Albuquerque's historic 1909 Yrisarri building, which adds charm to this cozy and inviting place. They have awesome staff, really delicious and unique eats (my absolute fave is their NM Wafflini), tasty custom cocktails, 30 different wines from around the world, a 99 bottled beer selection, and a very clean, relaxing, inviting atmosphere. Even their water is delicious (no joke, they have a filtration system). A cooler is in the middle of the table for your beers, and a tablet replaces a basic paper menu. They also have entertaining games to take to your table to play.

Recommended by my hotel on a business trip as a good place to get quick delicious food. I sat at the bar; menus are all on electronic notepads which takes some getting used to but I liked the pictures and descriptions of each dish when I zoomed in on items. Sunday night supper was busy at the bar and I think they needed extra service there but my food came quick when I finally ordered. Sunday happy hour drinks were tasty and $5 for a cocktail. I enjoyed both the cocktails I tried - a blackberry margarita for one. I also had the chimi-burger and it was unbelievably good. I would definitely come back if I’m back in Albuquerque.

We arrived a little late for my birthday. It's always a big famy event for all 12+ of us, but they were great! The food was AMAZING! Especially the gluten free options, which are completely celiac safe & cooked in a designated gluten free area! And the drinks.... all I can say is we will definitely go back and HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone!

Great service, awesome atmosphere, and yummy food! This bartender was the only one who understood how to make my very special drink. Friendliest waitress I’ve ever had in Albuquerque. They are doing a great job! Check it out!

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Service was fast and they kept my drink full. What more could you ask for. Only thing I could not pick would be there was a little too much seasoning on the fries, but the dipping sauce helped cut down the flavor a bit.

The food is fantastic and literally everything can be transformed to vegan! The design of the space is fun and energetic and they have one of our favorite organic tequilas. It’s a must eat situation!

This is the place where you will be surprised to see how well food can be presented, how tasty it can be. I loved Crispy Parmesan Potato. That is so awesome, I immediately ordered another one. This is going to be my favorite place whenever I am in Albuquerque.
