Dr. Joy is an amazing dentist! She’s very knowledgeable and patient with all of the patients in her office. The office is always clean and child proof. My sons were patients of Dr. Joys’ until they turned eighteen. Thank you Dr. Joy and your pleasant staff for making our experience exceptional.

All of the staff is so friendly and professional. We started taking my son when he was two, so we've been a few times now and it is a great experience each time. My son looks forward to wearing his t-shirt, and he always insists on wearing it the whole rest of the day. The appointment reminder texts are well timed and super helpful. We highly recommend!

These guys are so professional and amazing. My daughter had to have an extraction and she's 8 and it was painless and they talked through everything and made her a part of all that was going on. I was nervous when it started but that ended real quick. Amazing , patient, kind and they care about the kids..... love this place!!!

We have been seeing Dr. Joy for two years for my three boys. She has always been wonderful. Last night, my boys were roughhousing, very late and we had a dental emergency. Dr. Joy called back, within 30 minutes near midnight. Mind you, many places are closed 12/24-1/3. She gave me dental advice, and most importantly, eased my anxiety with her calm demeanor. She does great with my kids, aged 11, 9, and 2. Can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Joy and her practice. The waiting room is always clean and peaceful, with furniture and books/TV to accommodate the kids. The boys enjoy being on the no cavity club wall.

We’ve been clients for about five years, and I can’t say it enough - Dr. Joy is the absolute best! We moved over 30 minutes away and we still drive to Sandston for our twins’ appointments. You can’t always find top-notch service like this, so the drive is worth it! Thank you to the staff and team for ALWAYS exhibiting excellence in service and care!

Dr. Joy is the BEST! The professionalism and bedside manner of all the staff is truly unmatched. Our concerns are always addressed in a timely manner & my 3 year old is ALWAYS all smiles before & after visiting.

Dr. Phelps and her staff are great! Each time my daughter is here the service is fast, friendly, and professional. She loves going which is great! The location is a huge plus for my commute, and the office is very kids friendly. I love it!

Dr. Joy was so informative in what she was telling us about my son’s teeth. The staff was very friendly and so helpful. Gabby was the reason I ended up getting in so soon to have my son’s needs met she actually made the appointment but also gave me insight to a lot of things over the phone. The assistant bedside manner’s was so awesome. This is truly a place I trust my child’s care in. They absolutely rock! Very patient, caring and go beyond to assist and help. The whole team is just awesome and they make not only the parents feel comfortable they actually makes the children feel so at ease! I know it can be hard working with a population of children of different ages and getting the work done but they are good at what they do! Definitely would recommend this place.

They work so well with my son, they give him reassurance and allows him to get comfortable with him. They are patient and show him everything they will be doing and using and I love it! Glad i switched over to them! I 20/10 recommend to other families!

I absolutely adore this Dentistry. I have been bringing my kids to them for at least the last three years once I made the change I knew I was not going to have to change to anywhere else. They have an amazing staff! We usually see Dr. Joy Phillips and she is amazing as well my kids are very comfortable and as a mom who has had trauma with a dentist it makes me feel comfortable as well.

This was the first time for my kids and it was an awesome experience. From scheduling them as new patients to the actual visit was smooth. I took both my kids (1yo and 10mo) to the dentist for their biannual cleaning. Everyone was welcoming and demonstrated excellent customer service. This was my daughter’s second visit (1st here) and everything was pleasant. They both cried but everyone showed patience. They all was supportive and made us still feel welcomed. I’ve taken both kids to other doctors before and had unpleasant remarks stated, so I was a little uneasy with taking them together. This experience changed my thoughts and feelings. The doctor handled them with care and took her time with them. I highly recommend them!!!! More or less being a new mom with 2 under 2 is hard enough without the judgement so I really appreciate their work ethics they all demonstrated. The facility was clean and kid friendly. All around outstanding experience!!!

I absolutely love Dr. Joy and her staff. My son has fell twice and injured his teeth. Both times I was able to come in right away. Everyone is so professional and kind, Dr. Joy and all of the nurses are very helpful in answering questions and give great care to my son. Our hygienist is amazing, she went along with our child at his speed, showed him all the dental tools, let him touch and be comfortable. Make it a fun and painfree experience, for both my kid and me! I really appreciate her approach. It was perfect.

I used to travel from Eastern Henrico to Bon Air for a pediatric dentist until I found Dr. Joy and team. Dr. Joy is awesome and super friendly and so is her staff. I am really glad that I switched my boys to this office. We love the staff and the office environment. And, being close to home is a plus. They are always punctual and attentive. Awesome job ladies!!!
