Food Lion

I work with the Destiny Empowerment Center at my church, Living Destiny. I came to this Food Lion to ask for donations for a Thanksgiving dinner we're putting on for the community. I happened to catch the General Manager, Nadia riiiiiiiight at the end of her day. I mean clocked out, on the way out the door. She not only took the time to talk with me and set a time to come back the next day, but went ABOVE AND BEYOND with their donation of food for the community. Its obvious that God is working in this store, and doing good things, because the care they showed in this one act surpassed my expectations. I pray the LEADER of this Food Lion is protected, because we follow our leaders, and Nadia is an excellent one.

Everyone that works here is always so friendly and the store is very clean. I love the positive attitude and vibe of the store and the local section they have is full of specialty coffee that I love

We adore our local Food Lion. They do not have self checkout (though I hear it’s coming 😔), but they are awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful and get us in and out. If the line is backing up they open new lines and check us out swiftly with a smile versus an attitude. We frequent them more often due to the service and people. Our Great Bridge Food Lion ROCKS!!

I LOVE THE MANAGER JESSICA some people in the neighborhood is trying to get her fired because she is on top of EVERYTHING they can’t steal no more use other people’s food stamp cards checks or debit cards no more I called corporate and told them what was going on no one called me back I guess they like the negative lies about her but she is funny down to earth and is the same everyday!!! FOOD LION YOU NEED TO KEEP HER BECAUSE SHE IS A GOOD PERSON!!! I see her take care of the older people she stay in the front of the store and be on the register and she is FAST!! I love when she there I just follow what she ask and I’m out the store fast I don’t want to leave because she is good to be around PLEASE DONT LEAVE MRS JESSICA

This Food lion was really nice and clean and well stocked , enjoyable experience , I usually don't shop here live in another State but I'm glad I Stopped here and got a few things to eat on way home and to start me off wen I get home, was treated nice and friendly just like my Food 🦁 at home in the OBX NC

Nice and clean, spacious grocery store with a large selection of food and other products, well organized by categories in clearly labeled aisles so things are easy to find. Always a pleasant experience to shop there, helped a lot by the friendly service staff. And there are plenty of things on sale every day!

The employees are helpful and kind, the line moved fast, and the place smelled freshly clean. Most of the flowers in the flower case were wilted but I still managed to get find a fresh one in there.

Love me some food lion, about the only place that has Southern/Soul food. + I used to work here as a teenager, had alot of good times at #889.

I travel from Cedar Road, over the Veterans Bridge to visit this Food Lion on Dominion/Great Bridge Blvd because they have fresher fruit and better selection of items than the Food Lion on Cedar Road by my house. That's how much I love that Food Lion!
