Hillcrest Motel

Charming mom & pop motel. Rooms are individual buildings and ours was impeccably cleaned. Decor is slightly dated but everything was very well kept & clean. Bed was comfortable, like sleeping at my grandmother's house. Very quiet and the gentleman that checked us in and out was so very nice. Will absolutely be staying again when we pass through. Price was very affordable.

I was born in South Dakota and my dad raised on a ranch north of Wall. We both went on to be city folk, but I visit frequently due to local family.

Despite none of my family having lived in the area for two decades, they still remember all of them. In fact, they now mistake me for my late father (I'm now 52)

Whenever I'm there, they catch up on what the Stones have been doing since I last stayed.

The cabins are wonderful, overlooking the Badlands. The night view of the stars without light pollution is simply astonishing.

And the rates are amazing. Wall is a gigantic tourist trap, and during tourist season, every motel in town will soak you dry.

Not Hillcrest. Their rates are guaranteed to amaze you.

I cannot recommend Hillcrest enough. It is a little slice of small-town American life that you wouldn't believe still exists.

The best little motel I have stayed at. And we travel the country working 6 months a year. My husband and I love these places. I must say this one is the kings hat! We are a younger couple... We loved this place. So clean! I could have stayed for a month. The nicest couple we have met in too many years. It's just a good place to spend your $60 with tax. Grear wi fi. Hot shower. Very clean.

I like the older, ma & pa run places and this place is great. The people who own it are very nice and I learned quite a bit of local history from them. This isn't a motel, they have small cottages that are not new, but are extremely clean, well kept, and very reasonably priced.

Very clean and comfortable. We are staying here over Labor Day weekend. The nice married couple that own and run it are just the greatest. Salt of the earth. Good people in a world where they are few and very far between.

Politest gentleman! Cabins with seperate sleeping areas. Decor is dated but very well kept and clean. Glad we "took the chance" to stay there for under 100/unit vs the outrageous rates of the "big guys" in town. Wifi worked. ; -)

This was a nice change from the chain hotels. And it was still available. When others were booked. I would stay again. Very clean. It is like staying in a cute cabin.

I am very happy with my stay... the shower could cook a lobster in 2 mins. Dated... no. It’s like stepping back into your great aunts house.

AWESOME COUPLE THAT RUNS IT! They have owned it for years! Very clean, Lil dated on decor, but the friendliness is unmatched

This is a very nice please to stay at this place is amazing the rooms are clean and the decore is outstanding no sigh of bugs so that means this place is very clean compared to other places the people who word here are polite and understanding.

the place looks a little bit lonely .....but the room was really good, we had AC and the bed were very comfortable for the price it was great.....
