Wall Drug 80ft Dinosaur Advertisement

I gave a fairly rare 5 stars on this Wall Drugs Dinosaur. He's a big boy and you can see him from a long ways off. They say he's 80ft high. It's the uniqueness of this dinosaur and that it's fun, is why I gave it 5 stars. We stoped to visit for a little bit. There was a nice picnic table to relax and have a picnic if you want. I really appreciate that Wall Drugs would erect such a fun place. Even if it is really just an advertising gimmick. Folks can use and enjoy it without having to pay.
You can see this from both lanes of I 90. Although it is on the west bound side. It's off of exit 110. It's just a fun place to stop and visit. I bet it gives folks a smile just driving by it.

Decided to stop by for a few pictures with the boys. It caught their attention instantly and they really wanted to take pictures.

I can't believe I've not reviewed this old guy before this. The Wall Drug 80ft Dinosaur Advertisement is a HUGE South Dakota/Black Hills and Badlands road trip icon. I've been going by this beacon of freedom for fifty years and stopped to pay my respect every trip. He's not perfect but he is unique and has a ton of character. He's "old school" road tripping at it's best. Combine it with Wall Drug and you have a combination that cannot be beat.
They also offer picnic tables to dine in his shadow.

Really enjoyed this area, nice picnic table. There is also a really nice walking trail in the area.

I love quirky roadside attractions and this is certainly one of the fun ones makes a great family photo-op. Love my big green buddy!

Super Windy on the day we went. the kids didnt really like sitting outside at the picnic tables while we had out lunch. we took some photos and moved on to the next stop on our journey.

This was such a cool stop!

Just off I 90 I saw this 80 ft dinosaur and had to stop for a picture. There is a picnic table to sit and relax at this stop. This didn’t take much time off our travels and it was a fun stop.

We know it's almost time to stop when we see this from a distance! The kids love to stop and look before heading in to wall drug. It's a classic place to stop for a family photo.

Sign says no trailers. I took my 28' travel trailer + 22' truck in no problem. This is America!

It was so fun. If you needed a souvenir it was there. Incredible.

My brother and I really liked the Dino! It’s pretty big and it’s impressive to see up close! It’s also a good spot to stop and stretch your legs.

No trip thru Wall is complete without this unique photo op.

Wall Drug engineers were so busy trying to figure out if they could built an 80 foot dinosaur that they didn't stop to ask whether they should. Turns out it was a good decision. It is a fun photo opportunity and no dinosaurs have eaten tourists.

Gotta stop by this roadside attraction! Don't forget to actually visit Wall Drug though!
