Dealing with this state, let alone Marne, has been worse than my nightmares. I changed my name and when I called to get complete directions, I was told that she needed a paragraph stating that the courts are requesting they change my name. Even though my court papers are signed by the court. The lady here, in Colorado, is an absolute gem as she included her number for Marne to follow up with her… which she did not. Now she’s changing her story that a judge needs to not only sign the original paperwork but another piece of paper ordering them to change it. She’s unprofessional, unclear and cruel when it comes to the necessity that is of needing a birth certificate. Absolutely ridiculous.
