Jax Bistro & Bar

This place is terrific. If you like a really tasty Ruben Sandwich, you've Hit the jack pot. They even have hot pastrami, excellent pickles. Really good wholesome food. Nice little bar and bistro.

The chef is always trying new things. Truly worth the visit.

If you are on Jog Road in Boynton Beach,
you have to make a stop in this little quant restaurant that has everything on the menu, and the cooks in the back are just amazing. Gabriella, our server is wonderful. Don't let the tattoos scare you away as she is one of the friends and kindest staff members I have met in some time. With a big smile and knows lots about the menu, she made some yummy suggestions. Staff members have to be patient as the night we were there it was a retired crowed.
This is a family owned local joint with a nice small bar area and dinner area. they have some great early bird specials, and the regular menu is priced right. Nice size portions. At our table (forgot to take pics), linguine and clams. A very nice size portion and baby back ribs that were made with their homemade sauce, and they fell off the bone.
There was no room for dessert but would have lived something as all was delicious!
If you get a chance to stop in to this yummy restaurant, make sure you say hello to Lorretta, the hostess. She is in her 90-plus years and runs circles around the rest of the staff.

We were heading to a restaurant nearby but that one was packed with a wait, so we stopped by here. Great and happy accident! Everything was fantastic! We sat outside in the shade at a private table. Fabian made great suggestions and we enjoyed our Ruben and French dip. The fries are the best kind, crunchy outside, tender and moist inside. There are a few dishes we want to try from the unique menu, so we will be back! Give them a try! Highly recommended!

I couldn’t have been happier as this meeting my final meal before leaving Florida.

I was greeted by the owner & the wonderful server taking care of me. Every recommendation was stellar & honestly the best deli I’ve had in Florida for quite some time.

Service was fantastic & I knew it would be grease when I saw they had Diet Dr. Browns Black Cherry Soda. And they asked if I wanted Cole slaw & full sour pickles.

Even the rugalach was exceptional. I told them I couldn’t wait to come back to visit again so I could try something else delicious.

Absolutely delish! We had the Mahi Tacos and the Fish Sandwich! The sandwich was huge and the coating was so flavorful. The Tacos had large pieces of blacken mahi and a wonderful mango salsa. We ate it all! Max our server is wonderful! Great outside seating as well! Highly recommend!

Since the pandemic it’s been extremely hard to find great customer service. However, my family and I were so pleased after visiting Jax’s Bistro & Bar. Not only was the customer service great but the food was delicious. The owner and his wife also stopped by to greet me and my family and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Food service fantastic… the owner is extremely nice and very hands on. Always checking on his customers and even sent nice dessert over to us. Mike the bartender great job nice to talk to advised us that anything on the menu would be delicious.. he was right. My favorite was the crab cake dinner they were amazing. Muscles tacos burger and general Tsos cauliflower also very good. We will definitely be back. They will have the NFL package in the fall so a good Sunday funday place. Will definitely tell our snowbird friends when they come back. If your in the area a definite must try!

One of my favorite restraunts! The food is amazing and the staff is just as amazing! The owner takes great care of his customers and is friendly and welcoming! I can't wait to go back!

The food here is delicious and reasonably priced. Our family hosted a baby shower here and it was a huge success.

The food is good and the portions are big. They offer you a complementary bread(very tasty), the service is good, it is better to sit on the patio, desserts are amazing

Great place for brunch or a light lunch. Indoor & outdoor seating. The staff is clearly from NY or the like which can come across a bit short, disinterested, or rude. But probably is a feeling of home for the snowbirds or retirement crowd from up north. We are recent transplants from South Carolina and the service would rate a 3 star up there. But we are adjusting to the NY attitude.

Came back for dinner. Sat at the bar and Isabella seved me. She is a consummate bartender with great skills. Perfect service with a great vibe!

Love this place , great people great food and cocktails.
Fun Atmosphere, plus Sports and bar menu specials . Barmaids and staff are very attentive and all around cool bunch of eggs.

Ate here for the first time and won’t be the last. Our dinners were delicious and the waitress and hostess were so gracious. Glad to hear also opened for lunch . Will be taking a good friend here for her birthday.

Excellent service and fabulous atmosphere. The Hummus bowl and the huge chocolate chip melted with ice cream is delicious!! Definitely telling all my friends and will be back for happy hour soon!! Join me!!

Just have to say this place is outstanding! Service is very good and the value is better than most establishments. They have 3 menu's...regular, daily specials, and happy hour. The worst part is there's so much great choices, it's too hard to decide! But, the best part is the food. 2 examples are the rib appetizer that my wife had. It was amazing and high quality ribs. I recently had lasagna. Let me tell you, I've been in probably 100 Italian restaurants, including in Italy, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better lasagna than Jax's! It is stupendous! And, the portions are very generous, part of the great value I mentioned earlier. I worry about giving such a good review cause if too many people show up, I'll have to wait in line! Seriously though, you'll have a great experience at Jax. Well worth a try!

This place is awesome, phenomenal food and desserts and the service was exceptional. We are moving close by and guarantee we will regularly frequent this restaurant. Five stars indeed!

The BEST happy hour!! The food was delicious! The drinks were perfect! Such a great selection of both! We had the mussels, truffle mushroom flatbread,fish tacos and the French dip sliders! We are going back soon to try everything else! Don’t question it… just go!!
