Small place with BIG flavor. This is truly a hidden gem. If you blink twice you'll miss it. It's just off the main road in a stand alone location. The food is cooked fresh to order and it's DELICIOUS!!! The portions are nice, the price is good and the customer service was great. Definitely worth a trip

I am really happy I found this place. I ordered tacos and beans and rice. 10 out of 10. I am allergic to shrimp, that is why I went here, but it exceeded my expectations. Definitely incredible tacos and really kind women who took my order. I was not disappointed🤩just ate everything and am back on the road! So good!!

This place is truly a hidden gem! The empanadas and tacos they serve are absolutely excellent, and everything is freshly cooked. While waiting for my order, I decided to try their mango canned drink and some other items, all of which turned out to be delicious! I was impressed by the young man who typically handles the register; he speaks excellent English, and I couldn't be prouder of him. The food here is top-notch, and I was so satisfied with my first visit that I gave the lady in the kitchen a $10 tip. 😬

First of all. People of the world. Call in your order here. They made everything fresh and to order. So. Once upon a time…there was a food truck that cooked me a sope. In my hometown group I asked for a sope and a guy told me about this place. I had found a place on Lane but they premade their sopes or something ughhh but not La Sobrosa.

Not this place…I saw a lady rolling a sope or taco. I also had soup. I didn’t like the texture of the chicken. But they had zucchini and yucca…I think the lady said. The broth was muy delicioso. You gotta try this place at least once. My plan is once a week. :)

Best authentic Mexican tacos. I'm used to eating real street tacos in Chiapas. So when I come back to the States I'm always dissapointed. But, this place is delicious and serves authentic style tacos. I believe they handmade the tortillas as well, which is great. I recommend the barbacoa tacos (pulled beef) or the chicken tacos. I don't eat pork but my friend said the carnitas tacos (pulled pork) are excellent.

Absolutely amazing. It’s like I stepped across the border into Mexico. This is how Mexican food should taste. It was real. It was authentic. My tastebuds came alive. I ordered the chicken Gorditas and my husband ordered chicken tacos. I seriously cannot wait to go back and try more items on their menu. A hole in the wall place that I have passed many times and didn’t know it sold food inside. I’ll be back!

This place has the best Mexican food around I have traveled all around Jacksonville Orange Park Fleming island and Green cove springs to find the best Mexican food. I'm originally from California so it is hard to please my taste buds definitely a five-star as far as the food goes

Me and my husband drive all the way from Lawtey at least once per week and I LOVE the chicken and cheese papusas! Tamales are fire 🔥 AND great price! My husband orders his sopes and tacos 🌮 😋 He LOVES it 💖 This food is the real deal and you won't regret it!!!

There food is really good like one of the only places I can find in Florida thay make it tastes like real Mexican food I'm from California so we had real Mexican food everywhere out there right by the border of mexico. But the last couple of times I went there I was pretty disappointed wasn't fresh and just wasn't like they use to make there carne asada nachos I don't knkw. I'm probably not going back for a while after the second time it happened to me. But they use to GREAT!!!

Mi esposo quiere treats to reminder him of home. So we stopped en. real quick. Picked up a few goodies. Everything smelled muy deliciosa! Necesitamos go back again soon

The only place I’ve seen in Jacksonville that makes pupusas and they are delicious. The asada taco is great as well.

Best tacos you find in the area! Tiny place and I only ever order Togo, but even take out is just as amazing and eating them fresh. The red sauce is spicy and flavorful, just like I like it. Carne Asada tacos are my go to and they are consistently amazing. Don’t pass this place by, it’s a hidden gem.

It did take a while to get the food but they have a small kitchen so I was somewhat expecting a little wait. Definitely worth it. Very yummy!

Hands down the best mexican food in orange park. If you live within 10 miles and youve never tried this place I promise you its worth the drive. Very affordable but the quality is still fantastic. I try something new everytime I go (2/3 times a week between this location and the one off college) and I'm never disappointed.

Best authentic food around

The only authentic Mexican food I've had in Clay or Duval. We loved everything we purchased and have almost sampled the entire menu. Great customer service, excellent chefs. Highly recommend the Gorditas.

Tried the newly opened location on 220/College. Started with carnitas sopes: meat was very well seasoned, not fatty, plenty of topping. We also got chicken and beef empanadas: I recommend if you want a quick flavorful snack. Rounded out our selection with pupusas mixtas: didn't have the typical flavorful curtido but the pupusa itself with the salsa roja was so flavorful it didn't even matter. Perfect place if you want a great Latin American mix up for a very reasonable price.

Carne asada special was better and more than I expected. The employees were friendly and personable. I don't know why I always passed by and never stopped in. I feel as if I've cheated myself by not going in sooner!
