West Matheson Hammocks park is truly a South Florida treasure. It has plenty of picnic areas, shelters for parties and family get togethers as well as hiking and biking trails. It has a phenomenal boat ramp and marina. A wading beach that is enclosed to keep out any dangerous marine life as well as breathtaking taking views of the Miami and Gables skyline as well as South Bay. It is also the home one of the finest and very quant restaurants . The Red Fish grill. It atmosphere is quiet and family oriented. The parking is plentiful, however you now must pay to park. (Used to be free) All in all a very nice park.

West Matheson Hammock Park is approximately 109-acre portion of Matheson Hammock Park with almost 90% designated as a natural habitat for wildlife and conservation land. This park is one of the very few hiking trails in South Florida.

This is a beautiful and tranquil park for a nice family outing to enjoy the nature trails. Dogs are allowed in this park. Kindly pick up after your dogs, you may dispose of in garbage cans throughout the park. Thank you! 🙏

Lugar muy placentero para descansar y relaharse. Altamente recomendable...dentro del Parque Han creator una piscina con agua de mar..donde pueden Las familuas con niños pequenos de disfrutar del dia.hay un amplio parqueo y solo realiza un pago de $7.75 por todo el dia.(abierto hasta el anochecer). Ademas tiene zona de camping y una zona de caminar x entre Los manglares.
