Detwiler's Farm Market

Detwiler's is the best place in Sarasota for fresh, non-organic farm foods. The new renovations are great and the staff are lovely! I could not cook as well (and healthy) as I do without them when I'm in Florida.

Love coming here early so you can get what you need and get out before the rush.

Detwilers really outshines every other option in the area as far as local groceries go.

This location is conveniently located but very small compared to the others in town, so be aware of that. You might struggle to find parking, and it might feel a bit overwhelming in there at times with so many people running around in that small of a space.

It's not going to have as huge of a selection as the supermarket stores, but you're going to have the essentials- seafood counter, butcher shop, ice cream and sandwich counters, produce section, as much as they could cram on the shelves, etc. You can find whatever you need there, and you can always expect a high standard of quality.

It is so nice since this location has reopened. I work 2 minutes from here and have been for lunch many times (too many actually). The inside layout is much more customer friendly and open. The employees are always happy and upbeat with smiles on their faces. My 2 favorite locations are Palmer and University.❤

New store layout is great. Lots of good vegetables meats deli items. I do not like their baked goods though. Tasteless too wet or too dry. Lousy rolls.

We bought fresh ears of corn and they looked fresh picked. Lots of produce, seafood , and deli, along with fresh pickles and other staple items. Items not normally found in the big retail stores.
Try the Birch beer (soda) Unique and tasty.

Just smelling the fresh fruit and vegetables upon entering was enough to give Detwiler’s 5 stars. Oh the strawberries were as fragrant as any fresh strawberry could be without cutting them. We could almost taste the sweet tasting morsels just by passing near them. I needed assistance locating what I was looking for and I found a kind, helpful staff member who instantly led me to the location. Had I been shopping for home and not running an errand for someone else, I would have lingered longer and perhaps grabbed some Cooper cheese. Yummy. And there is more than cheeses and fresh fruit and vegetables! Deli items! Meats! Most everything you need to make a great healthy, or not, meal. Everyone around these parts is familiar with Detwiler’s and I am extremely pleased they had a location near where I was needed.

Guys, this place is a sea foodie's paradise!!! We had heard so much about this place from friends. They kept telling us to go and check it out because we would love it there and the deals are abundant.... They we're right! The staff was amazingly friendly, they even showed our boys fish heads, which our smaller boys thought we're cool!

The gentleman tending the seafood section was very informative and super friendly. The establishment was very clean and kept up. Everything there, that I saw, was fresh, including the bread. If you're looking for natural peanut butter and real fruit jam, this is also the place. It reminds me of a Trader Joe's but more down to earth, and the prices here on the sales just can't be beat!

I'm highly recommending this place! You have to come here and check it out for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

I Normally don't give out 5 star review, but with fish so freash that it has no odor, 5 STARS!

The quality of food is more than 5 stars but small parking spots lower it to 5 stars. Picked up 2 beautiful lobster tales for $30, and 2 thick cut strip steaks for $10.99 pound!

This is my favourite go-to place to shop during my lunch hour... always fresh produce, amazing guacamole and super service; Lyza was very helpful, lucky to have nice and helpful employees!

Love love love this place! This is my go to when ever I'm in the Sarasota area. Fresh food, hand made pies, right out of the water fish and spectacular service. What I like most is that although they've expanded into multiple locations, the family atmosphere is clearly still present.

They have rows apon rows of the fresh fruits, vegetables, and about any other organic food you can think of. The staff is really friendly and they even have samples for some things. A great place to go and get the best produce on the market.

Great shopping experience today. Came inside to purchase a quick sub sandwich for the teens. Purchased raspberries. Corn. Key lime pie. Chicken salad ,chips And Cajun Turkey slices. Too many to name. Oh and the Cajun lobster dip for a special treat tonight. I’ll take some pictures. Yum yum

I buy almost all of our meat and fish here. Great veggies too. Parking is very limited. Friendly staff.

What an amazing store. Great produce, meats and seafood. Went by today and bought fresh caught alaskin crab for 9.99 per pound.

This location just opened back up. I was presently surprised at the friendly staff. The deals where amazing. While I was there, the hamburger was 2.50 a pound. Amazing!!! They strive to impress.
