Nancy is a wonderful and creative person who made my day. She is a person who is difficult to describe due to her beauty and high morals. She did an amazing job and changed me 180 degrees, and I will always shave my hair with her.

I 1000% recommend this place to anyone if you’re looking for a really nice crisp cut. I always go to Johnny right before and event or business meeting and he always gets me right. A little perspective I am an African American Male so you could already guess that not every barber can handle my hair let alone deliver a decent cut, but when Johnny sits me in the chair he’s resilient even if it’s just a small detail I wouldn’t even notice, he’s got me right. Again I highly recommend, this is now the only barbershop I could confidently trust no disappointment.

I got my hair cut by Nancy and it genuinely was a great experience. I came in unsure about how to cut/style this particular section of my hair, but she was super helpful and responsive and helped me get the cut that was right for me. She was very kind and did such a wonderful job and I will definitely be coming again.

Nancy did a great job. I have thick hair and sensitive skin. Nancy gave me exactly the haircut that I wanted and was gently enough with fixing my beard so I didn’t have any razor burn. Affordable haircut, great service, highly recommend.

Let me tell tell you this, I have never been more compliment about my haircut until Nancy did her magic. I’ve been coming to this barbershop for a little over 2 years now and Johnny has been cutting my hair for this time. I have never received a bad hair cut from him and he is always professional. He is an exceptional barber. Outside of his outstanding skills as a barber he is a great guy to speak to. I’ll be leaving the state in the next few months and I hope I find another barber at the same caliber as him. With that being said if you’re new to the area and in search for a barber, come here and ask for Johnny. You won’t leave disappointed.

A very refreshing talent, amongst barber shops that tend to rely heavily on electric clippers. She’s been styling hair for 35+ years, and my results are a testament to her lifelong dedication. I got a haircut there from Nancy. She did a phenomenal job. I had another place I had been going but I will be going back to 109 and Nancy. Shes very nice, very detailed and cares about her work. She gave me the best haircut I’ve probably ever had. The other staff and owner there is very nice as well. Great place to get your haircut. Id recommend it to anyone.

I am a student at Florida International University. 109 Barber shop was nearby and extremely convenient. This was my first time at the location and I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, professionalism, and the skill of the barbers at 109. Specifically, my hair was cut by Nancy. Nancy did an amazing job perfecting my haircut. She gave me advice on how to style my hair and encouraged me to continue further in my career and future endeavors.
