Turtle Tavern

This is a great little sports bar to go to and watch games the TVs are not huge regular size but the atmosphere, the food is delicious, and a very reasonable price . The staff is fabulous, after your first visit they will know your name and your beverage of choice. I'm here almost every Sunday watching my team in the NFL or on Saturday watching my college team play! This is definitely a five-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ location or as I like to say a joint!

The folks at this place sure go the extra mile to accommodate everyone's needs. They instantly reworked tables to create the right setup and lowered the sound a little for my lousy hearing. Meatloaf Monday rocks with a delicious sweet glaze on a generous portion of Meatloaf, mash potatoes, gravy & corn .. just like homemade! And all for $10 !!

I love this bar. It's an older crowd but great food and service. Shannon is fantastic.

Tucked away in a shopping center, this place is an absolute hidden gem. Don't expect an incredible 5 star ambiance, what you'll find is a sports bar/pub style layout. The food is where this place shines, though. I know this is a bit cliché, but I was raised in Buffalo, NY, and have had some of the best wings the US has to offer.

These wings are right up there with the best.
Crispy all around, plump, large, juicy, sauced well. A lot of places offer skimpy, soggy, slimy skinned monstrosities. Turtle Tavern's wings are top tier.

A+, would recommend, will be back.

This is our favorite hometown bar! The food is great and the people and service are wonderful. We come back often and always have a great time.

I went to the turtle Tavern for the first time on Wednesday afternoon. It wasn’t very full, but the atmosphere was very friendly. I started off with a nice cold, fresh, Yingling logger served by the bartender, Lori. I then had the chicken tenders and fries and let me tell you what. Usually I salt my fries before I ever taste them, but there was no need for any additional seasoning on the fries or the chicken tenders. They were crispy. They were hot and absolutely delicious. I noticed all the Maryland Terrapins memorabilia and having just moved to Delray Beach from Pennsylvania, it felt like a little bit of home. I will definitely go back and I would definitely recommend.

LOCAL BAR. Local atmosphere. You will probably see a lot of the same faces every time you come. The staff is super friendly. 👌

It's a old style bar. Nothing fancy, just like the neighborhood bars in the olden days except with several TV's to watch sports. PERFECT!
Very reasonable, friendly staff (bartender Steve) and the patrons are also very friendly. Food (pulled pork sandwich) is surprisingly good. They serve fresh tap & bottled beers, wine, martinis, and spirits at fair prices including a decent pour. Very enjoyable. Wonderful neighborhood place to relax, have a drink and eat without getting dressed up.

Definitely try the Vegas wings!!! The service is great, people in the bar are friendly, play a game of pool or just hang out. Good music, great atmosphere, really abled to unwind after a day of work. Thank you Brit for the food and drink options! You made walking in the door a great experience!

If you are searching for a "locals" bar and restaurant that has good food, good service, and a friendly atmosphere, Turtle Tavern is your place. They offer an affordable, simple but appetizing menu, lots of TV's to watch your favorite sports, and a wide variety of beers to choose from. Great place for a bite and a drink and to meet up to watch your favorite sports.

1st time here and we will definitely be back again. My son and I had their wings and they were delicious and cooked perfectly. Their jalapeno shrimp poppers were really good too. Fast service and friendly staff.

EXCELLENT...EXCELLENT...EXCELLENT...The Turtle tavern is a fantastic local sports bar/restaurant tucked away in a little plaza on Military trail in DelRay, Fl.
The atmosphere is super clean (no smoking) with the turtle theme throughout, a couple of pool tables and a non stop jukebox that plays the best selection of '60's, '70's, 80's & '90's classic rock music.
The crowd is a mix of all ages with what seems to be regulars and newcomers, all very friendly people.
There are 2 bartenders (no waitstaff) who do a great job taking both drink and food orders from the bar, the food gets delivered directly to your seating from the kitchen staff.
The Food ! ....the menu consists of most of the recognizable fair for an establishment like this....but the have great specials along with the appetizers, sandwiches and meals.....for us, the star is their Chicken wings ( the Vegas Style) and the Mahi-Mahi Tacos...some of the best we have ever had....all at very reasonable prices....If in the area, stop by...My wife and I highly recommend The Turtle Tavern.

Great pub. Excellent cook. Steve the bar tender is very pleasant. My wife says best crab cake she ever tasted. They have a few outdoor seats. Stella on tap. I highly recommend this Tavern.

This was our first time here and won't be our last! My husband and I had a great time. Staff is friendly, food is good, prices are great and place is clean, with a friendly "corner bar feel". It's a true hidden gem!!! Thanks Steve! We can't wait to come back.

Delicious food dishes, friendly service, going there again!

The Turtle Tavern is the Delray Beach version of “Cheers”. The bar is neighborhood friendly and the menu is limited, but everything is fresh and hot. Try the Monday meat loaf special and be pleasantly surprised. If you want local flavor, the Turtle is the perfect place. It is also a gathering place for Terrapin (MD) sports enthusiasts.

Great place, friendly staff, cold drinks, good food, all around great atmosphere. It's tucked away in the corner of the plaza but you have to stop in and check it out.

This place is GREAT! Local friendly place with great food , drinks and incredible service! I would highly recommend it to everyone!
