This restaurant is beyond Legit! Nothing else needs to be said. I wanted soul food and that is exactly what I got! The food is absolutely delicious and is an absolute culinary gem that has stolen my heart and satisfied my soul. From the succulent fried chicken to the perfectly seasoned smothered pork chops and the mouthwatering collard greens, every bite was a revelation of soulful goodness. Trust me, no matter what you get, you will be happy and satisfied.

I ordered from them twice this week from doordash. Both times the food over preformed and exceeded my expectations. I had to personally call the restaurant myself to praise them for their amazingly delicious food. This restaurant is simply amazing, earning it a well-deserved 5-star rating.

Everything was amazing from the service the food and even when it comes down to when you walk in the door "WELCOME HOME" and they really make you feel like you are at home. I will definitely be back everytime I come to florida

Very heartwarming. Cashiers and servers are super nice! The blue raspberry and strawberry lemonade are a must try. The baked chicken and oxtail have to be the best on the menu. Don’t even get me started on the corn bread!! Definitely recommend to everyone in South Florida.

There is nothing in this world like the satisfaction of some real good, homemade with love soul food, and this places serves it right. The wonderful family who works here really cooks it up with deep deliciousness. I can't get enough. And the man in the kitchen with the divine singing voice doesn't hurt either....

First time go to Mr.Jacks. I was greeted by two very pleasant man. I ordered short ribs, mac and cheese, candied yams a flop and pound cake. Everything was amazing! Definitely homemade. I had enough to share with my parents. Will definitely come back!

This restaurant is beyond and seems to be new. I’ve lived in the area for a long time and this was my first time trying soul food. The food was really good and full of flavor. The service was immaculate and the staff is very friendly and kind. Would definitely go again

They were attentive and made sure that my food was properly prepared.

The food at Mr. Jack's Soul On The Go is nothing short of amazing. Every dish was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. NOT GREASY or salty. I particularly enjoyed everything I ordered: short ribs; collar greens; green beans; white and yellow rice; mac and cheese; candied yams; black-eyed peas and cornbread. I know! That’s all I could carry! The portions were generous and freshly prepared.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting. The decor is tasteful and most importantly, CLEAN!!!

Overall, I highly recommend Mr. Jack's Soul On The Go for anyone looking for a great meal and exceptional customer service. Carlos, Mike, and Teddy are making sure you eat good. Run, don’t walk. I will definitely be returning soon to check out the deserts: homemade banana pudding; sweet potato pie, cake, peach cobbler… just go!!!

So glad we found this gem! First time at Mr. Jack’s and Mr. Malik walked us through the menu and made some recommendations. Our family ended up ordering the fried fish sandwich and two baked chicken entrees (one with white rice, sweet potatoes and fried corn and the other with yellow rice, greens and mac & cheese.)

Everything was delicious, hot and well seasoned! Definitely making another lunch stop when we we are in town again!

The food is delicious and they have really large portions. The desserts are delicious especially the 5 layer cake. You must have a soul roll, they are the best!!! I am there at least once a week to bring home food for my family. 5 stars for me!

Service is everything and will partially determine if I'll return. The food was so good- I had the oxtails, and my husband had the fried pork chop fried corn, and Mac and cheese! Perfection and seasoned great. The strawberry lemonade and the pound cake was amazing as well.

I was skeptical about soul food on the go so I’m not even gonna hold you! They know damn well what they’re doing!! Every bite had me like mannnnnnn! Babyyyy...!!! This food was SO GOOD!! I’m a chef that recently relocated to Miami for a new position. I live in Kendall where there are just no soul food restaurants in the area (all are typically about 30+ minutes away... In this dreadful Miami traffic). So for months, I’ve either been cooking or just eating what’s close by. Today, however, I decided I couldn’t wait anymore and was absolutely not about to cook (because, who wants to do dishes?!) I googled a few places and decided to just try out 2 today.
I now wish I had just gone straight to Mr. Jack’s and ONLY Mr. Jack’s. The other place was pretty good... but Mr. Jack’s was AMAZING. Knocked the competition right out the way! The customer service was great, as well! Needless to say, I will be back, and I will be back often!

Just ordered thru uber and food was amazing. Very flavorful. The catfish was cooked perfectly and the sides so tasty. A good find in kendall.
