West Boynton Park and Recreation Center

I walk everyday and when traveling I like to find different places to take a walk. This was right around the corner from where I was happy I found it on Google Maps. It’s a local park with lots of ball fields, tennis courts, volleyball courts, skateboarding park and a wood chip covered walking path that is a mile long. There are good bathroom facilities in the park. The park has lots of parking but when a few games are going on at the same time it might get busy. We walked 4 miles on the path with a few other people also doing laps. There are exercise stations along the path. It’s not a park you would go far out of the way to visit but perfect if you are in the area and want to take a walk or use one of the fields/courts.

Loved this park! Was looking for a local safe parks to take the kids for a run-around and found it! Playground facilities were nothing elaborate but well maintained. Padded astroturf as the base so no mulch mess to deal with. Area is also fenced in with clean bathroom facilities adjacent. Really nice experience.

Great park with a nice shady playground for the smaller kids. Clean restrooms and other facilities. Coolest facet for us is skatepark that allows bmx, scooters in addition to the skateboards. My 5yr old loves this park. Open 7days, skatepark has great lighting for when sun goes down and cools down.

This is, hands down, the greatest rec center and open air park on earth. From Travis to Hannah, the staff here is 2nd to none. Do yourself a favor, and come out to enjoy this great space in West Boynton.

It was steaming hot but when you get to See your grandson play soccer it’s priceless I don’t care how hot!

Great park. Bigger than I expected. The playground and skate park we're very busy. Will definitely be a frequent visit once my son is a little older. Mulch jogging trail was well kept. Lots of ball fields with pick up games going on.

This place is amazing. I have a 5 year old son and we went there 5 days ago. This place has an amazing fenced in playground ,skateboard ring,basketball court,baseball court,soccer fields,swings,running tracks basically everything you need for kids in 1 place. It is well kept. I was so impressed by this place that I will definitely come back

Park is great for the little ones with amazing playground. They also have skate rink which is fun to watch (we don’t skate). The walking trail is pretty nice to use and there is plenty of nature to admire.

This is a Parents dream come true for all children 2 - 5 years old!!! The park is completely fenced in with 2 gates and clear sightlines almost throughout the area. The climbing and sliding opportunity for kids in this age group are fantastic!!!

My 2 year old was running all over and enjoyed all of the younger rides (metal rockers shaped like dinosaurs, an old school metal school bus, the ramps, slides, and the moving bridge). He was intrested in the suspension bridge, laders, sliding poles, monkey bars, and viewing pipes.

I have brought my 5 month old to do tummy time on the astro turf around the park area. There are a great group of Parents and a few Grandparents who are there each day which makes for a very friendly and safe environment!

There are pavilions next door which would make for a great area to have children's birthday parties and it's tucked back in an area of the over all recreational area so it is separate from the sport fields and the people in those areas.

Very nice park, always clean and fun. BUT apparently SOME of the parents that go to this park think that is OK to correct the behavior of someone else's kid. If you have and issue with one kid playing with another GO TO THE PARENT DONT GO ON A RANT AGAINST A KID SPECIALLY IF THE KIDS ARE TODDLERS. If you want your kid not to be touched not even by the wind, put it in a crystal box and stay home, playing and learning is part of growing up. Blessings.

I started coming to this park strictly for exercise as they have a great path and extras to get fit. They also have a skate park which my children love! When they're done skating they go across and play in the fenced in park which puts me at ease of knowing they won't run in the road.

I haven't skated in 20 years, and the skate park is a nice place to learn again. Plenty of things to play off of. I recommend keeping a cooler of water or drinks with you. It gets very hot. There is an open pavilion near the skate park to cool off an hangout. Also, I recommend to come to the skate park on an overcast day.

I was so thankful for having the recreational center as an option for my daughter's sweet sixteen birthday party. Everyone had a great time.

My family & I have been coming here for 20 years now (since my son started little league all those years ago). Very clean park & clean restrooms with all sorts of amenities such as: soccer fields, baseball diamonds, volleyball area (sand), basketball courts, tennis courts, "fenced-off" area just for little ones to play, skate park & more.

Excellent place to enjoy the outdoors, from tennis, baseball, hockey, soccer, skate park, playground and a fitness trail (1 mile).

This park is clean and appears safe. We visited for just over an hour, and the kids played on the playground. There are also soccer and baseball fields here, as well as picnic tables and BBQs. There is a building there as well, but we did not go in, so I'm not sure what all is inside.

Nice skatepark. Free and you don’t have to wear a helmet.

A long time favorite of ours. Something for all ages. Skate park, baseball fields, soccer, indoor basketball gym, good parking, playgrounds, pavilions, charcoal grills, fishing from the canal on the eastern border...everything but a water park. Very nice people and convenient for west Boynton (unincorporated PBC) residents. Directly east of Park Vista Community High School.
