South Miami Park

I have cherished memories of this YMCA park from my childhood. While it no longer has an active administration, it remains a serene haven, perfect for bonding with your kids over a game of ball in its spacious open field. Additionally, the jogging path adds to its appeal, making it an ideal spot for both recreation and fitness activities.

This is the perfect park if you are looking for big open space to throw the ball with your kids or some friends. It is hard to find parks with clear open areas like this.

There are no major roads around the park so it is very family friendly, Located in the middle of the neighborhood it makes it have a very homey feel.

There is also a nice paved pathway all the way around the park making it a good location if you like to walk/jog/run.

The only thing to remember when going here is there are no structured bathrooms, just porta potties so just use the restroom before you head out that way if you are uncomfortable with using them.

Great for soccer lovers. South Miami United Soccer Club has practices here every day of the week. A new lighting system will be installed this month.Highly Recommended!

Great park close to lots of shops and restaurants. My favorite part is that it's fenced in and it has plenty of space to run around, not just playground equipment. There are benches peppered throughout and a few picnic tables towards the entrance. There's a good amount of space to be in either the sun or the shade depending on what you prefer. There's a toddler section, some swings, a big kid section, a work out section, and a field. It's incredibly clean. I didn't see one piece of trash anywhere. There were plenty of people, kids of all ages and it felt very safe. Everyone was very polite, the kids took turns and the moms were attentive

A Green open space where practices happen every day! Fun! Sporty! Nice place to take a walk while your kids are practicing or playing!

Nice park. Has changed a bit since my last time here. They've added a kid's area with a playground.

The track and field doesn't have running water to drink. Luckily across the street, Leadex Corporation is building a brand new gym and playgrounds for the entire community

Grew up going to this YMCA park. Used to have an administration now it’s left alone but still a nice open field to throw and kick the ball with your kids. There is a a jogging path as well.
