I was in the Medical Assistant program at Fortis college and my experience was Amazing. I had an amazing teacher (Dr. Santana). The type of teacher that makes you want to study and interested in class because he is so funny but yet he makes sure you are learning . He would make sure that we all understood before he moved on to the next chapter and if not he did not mind at all going over it all over again. The staff was great and very helpful to whatever I needed help with. I finally graduated in 2016 and was ready to start my career. For me personally I knew it was gonna be a little more harder than my other classmates because when I was much younger I got into some trouble but I turned my life around and when to Fortis College to better myself. I was so fortunate that the school has an amazing job placement counselor Veronica ❤ I had given up looking for a job as an MA but Veronica NEVER EVER EVER gave up she constantly called me always set me up with Interviews. Honestly im so thankful for her. I will say that if she made it possible for me SHE COULD make it possible for ANYBODY. I have been working for a urogynecologist doctor for two years now and things are looking great for my future. Highly recommend Fortis College. Thank you Fortis I will forever be thankful ❤

My experience at Fortis College was great. I studied to be a Pharmacy Technician and my mindset was too learn how to use the skills that I was taught in the classroom setting. I enjoyed my training at Fortis and I had great teachers that had the knowledge to teach me how to become a great Pharmacy Technician. Also the hands on training in the lab was my favorite because the Pharmacy Lab was set up like a real Pharmacy and that made it more exciting. I graduated in June 2014 and I got a job working for Walgreens and I am very happy with my accomplishments. I would recommend my friends and total strangers to Fortis because its a great school and the staff is really helpful and nice.

There are times when one thinks that it is too late to start and it is not like that, two months ago I started my LPN nursing course at this school and I think I have made the best decision, they have an excellent team, in the beginning I was afraid for the language barriers and for facing a new challenge, I thank Professor Yasser Rojas from the Anatomy and Physiology Class for helping to understand the knowledge for his great dedication to all the students, from the bottom of my heart I want to thank him to him and Professor Ricardo Silva for taking part of their time to share their knowledge

I started Fortis in the fall for Pharmacy Tech, I really enjoyed being there. Everyone is friendly and family oriented. Prof. Jane Arrango is always there to offer that extra help you may possibly need to pass your class. To my Fortis staff/family I am glad I made that step to walk into your doors when I did. The Pharmacy program is an excellent programs, thank you for all you have done to help my fellow students make it thru your classes. I will always remember you all, Cantrell.

I decided to attend Fortis College because it was close to my house. From the get go as soon as I was interviewed and given a tour of the campus by Gretel she told me that the nursing program was going to be hard, challenging but rewarding and boy was she so right. I did the associates nursing program in 1 year and 6 months and during this time I got to meet exceptionally wonderful individuals and we all graduated together. The program was intense, rigorous and challenging - overall it was an experience I will never forget BUT I am glad I did it. From the administrative staff to the professors, all were extremely helpful. Professor Arocha and Dr. Cora are godsend individuals, these two nursing educators were born to be teachers because whatever they teach you will stick to your head as if you have studied from the textbook. Dr. Mora and Professor James are also phenomenal instructors each and everyone one of them provided us with all the materials necessary to succeed in our classes. The dean, Dr. Taylor, is one of the best deans a school can have - not too often you see a dean interact with her students and listen to their concerns. Even the President from the school knows me and each and every student by their first name which is a huge perk of attending a small school. A huge thank you to Professor Walwema who helped me and everyone else from my cohort get ready for the NCLEX-RN by guiding us with the proper study materials - we ALL passed on our first try. Although I just received my license, I am now being helped by the school's student services ran by Veronica whom hounds job postings and is helping me obtain a job. Because of her and everyone else's help at Fortis I can successfully say I am a nurse.

My experience at Fortis Cutler Bay was awesome. I studied the Pharmacy Technician program, it went by fast and I learned so much thanks to my teachers Mr.G , Ms. Arango and Ms. Alford. Everyone was very helpful, the staff are great starting from financial aid to externship. I had to put it the time to study afterschool and it paid off. Also, Ms.Roldan from Career Services was a big help to me. She was very encouraging throughout the job search. Now, after three months of completing my program I am finally employed as a CPhT and very excited about my new job.

While attending FORTIS I gained a lot of experience in the nursing field. I recieved a Associates Degree in Nursing and I was able to pass the NCLEX on the first try. The greatest asset that this school has, other then the state of the art equipment is the Dean of Nursing Dr. Evoy. This lady is by far the reason why I was able to be successful. She took the time to listen to the students and help us understand the reasons for any changes that the school may have implemented. She is also a very kind hearted person who would understand students have lives away from the campus. FORTIS provided ALL of the tools I needed to succeed in the nusing world.

Overall, I would deffinetely recommend this school to anyone that is thinking about a career in the nursing field.
