Lane's Barber Shop

We were recommended to Lane's through local law enforcement officers. Lane's is your traditional, old-school barber shop squeezed in between other downtown stores. The owner is a kind man and the lady that works with him is extremely patient. I am great at dying hair but awful at cutting it. My brother is law is mentally handicap and his hair grows fast and unruly so we need frequent cuts. Lane's is half the price of other local barbers we used prior to finding them and they do twice as good of work. Bring cash as they are cash only, which is only a plus to me in a society that is trying to force going cashless.

Genuinely the best haircut I’ve ever had. This mans attention to detail is incredible. The guy is an artist, a true craftsman. He will have a full shop of customers and still take the time to fine detail his cut. He’s never made me feel rushed. I only get cut once, maybe twice a year. In the big city where I lived before I used to pay about $45 for a mediocre haircut. I get my cut here for $15 and walk away loving it every time so I always tip well because the value is there and having the opportunity to support an artist and a local business owner is a great combo. Last time he followed me out of the store because I tipped about 110% and he wanted to make sure I meant to. So not only does he do great work, but he is a man of integrity. I know the town we live in, many residents probably couldn’t afford to pay much more for a cut, but this guys cuts are worth three times what he charges. He’a the only barber i’ll probably ever wait in a line to see, vs the convenience of setting an appointment. I’d sit all day for this cut, now that i’ve had it.

Great place for a hair cut, barbers are very friendly and make sure you look better and feel better when you leave.

I am a “snowbird” from Tn and spend the winter in an RV in Bowling Green. I came across Danny’s shop last year and had to return again. He is so talented and watching him work is almost artistic. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a perfect haircut!

I’ve had the fortune of calling Danny a close friend for a very long time now, and what else can I say other than he is a very genuine, and all around great person. He is extremely dedicated to his craft, and his Barber shop. I've been a loyal customer of Lane's for years now. I live in Auburndale FL., and drive to Ft Meade for my haircut, and my grandkids haircuts, because of the outstanding service I get from Danny and Randy. Great atmosphere, friendly, and great fellowship with Danny, Randy and other Patrons of his. Danny will continue to have me as a customer, as long as the good Lord keeps me on this earth.

This is by far the friendliest place in ft. Meade. The barbers are excellent, and treat you as though you are the only one there. You will get an excellent haircut, and leave feeling like you have been well served

My husband needed a haircut last minute and we had been told about Lane’s which isn’t very far from where we lived. They do walk-ins only and my husband only waited about 20 min before they got him back. Danny did an AMAZING job!! We will definitely be going back here. Thank you!!!

I've been going to this Barber Shop for over 25 years I've gotten my haircut somewhere else besides when I was in the service three times and every time I regreted it they know how to cut my hair and I never have a problem with this place. They take their time and they do it right and their prices you can't beat them for the quality of their work
