Rosenhof German Restaurant & Grocery

Rosenhof is such a great restaurant! The music was so much fun everyone in our family was rocking out! The food is amazing! It was our first time having German food and we were blown away! Everything was delicious. My favorite was the cucumber salad!

Plenty of enjoyable music. Our waittress Abbey/Abby had a great personality. She was very knowledgeable. The desserts do not disappoint. When your waitress listens to your texture issues and recommends a certain plate based on your picky pallette is, listen, your taste buds will appreciate it.

We love this place! The food is amazing! There is something about the German atmosphere that is so fun and brings back so many memories of my time in Germany. We are so glad to be able to enjoy it again since our son is no longer at Ft. Stewart. We found ourselves in Savannah and drove over to enjoy this amazing place.

Great atmosphere, great food. The waiters and waitresses are dressed in traditional German garb. I visited Rosenhof with some colleagues and we all loved our food. Some of the sauces were slightly sweet for my taste, but I don't eat much sugar. The flavor was very good though. Rotkraut, schnitzel, bread, black forest cake, and Sauerbraten was delicious.

Waitress was apparently new, so the service was slow n forgot the appetizer. Otherwise, we had a great time. The food was really good and the servers were very friendly n fun. Will go back.

I love going to the grocery store before going to eat in the restaurant. They have so many of my favorites from Germany. They have sauces, meats, and breads. The snack section makes me blow my calories every time. The inside of the restaurant looks like European guest houses. The service was excellent as always. Our server was friendly and welcoming. We ordered curry wurst and Geschnetzeltes. The curry had a nice spicy flavor that compliments the two bratwurst. I ordered fries with my meal. They were crisp and well spiced. The Geschnetzeltes has mushroom gravy and pork over rice. There is a large portion of rice. The pork strips and gravy were adequate. You can substitute fries for the rice. The rice held together well. The pork was tender and juicy. We also had a side salad consisting of beans, lettuce, and cucumber with vinaigrette dressing. It was small but had a great taste. We had a fantastic lunch.

We saw the billboard advertising this restaurant and decided to detour a little to try it. The restaurant had a warm and cozy atmosphere and the servers were all friendly. I ordered the potato salad as a side and it was incredible. The kids meals are all the reasonably priced and even came with ice cream served in adorable waffle cone ceramic dishes. The wait was a little long, but the food tasted truly homemade which certainly makes it worth it. The schnitzel was decent but could have used some extra seasoning or would have paired better with some red cabbage instead of the speatzle that we ordered.

First time there for dinner. My husband and I both loved our food.. Our server was Abby and she was amazing!! Will definitely be a repeat customer..

First time coming in and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere and service was excellent and food was very good! I had the German Pretzel and the dinner combination, enjoyed all of it. Definitely recommend and will return in the very near future. Thanks for the great experience!

Amazing!!!! So much fun & the food is delicious!!! Ashley was amazing and brought me out of my “comfort zone”. I was gonna pick #1 and she told me not to be basic!! LOL!! So I got the Mushroom Rahm Schnitzel and it was superb! Loved every bit of it. Give Ashley and Katie a raise!! Katie is the best bartender I’ve ever met, super sweet!

This is my favorite German restaurant near me the food is always delicious no matter what I get and the service is excellent.

Excellent service, amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants of all time, definitely one of the top two in Hinesville. Food is as authentic as you can get without a 16+ hr plane ride! Absolutely delicious (any dish)!

First time dining at Rosenhof, and we were impressed! Quaint and charming spot in the older downtown area near a lovely little park. The schnitzel is to die for and the sides were perfect. Joanna was our server - ask for her; lovely smile, attentive at the table, and very professional. We indulged in desserts- why not, right? Hubby had the Philadelphia Cake (it’s not cheesecake) and the lightly lemon flavor set off the creamy topping. I had pumpkin spice cheesecake- so yummy. They also have the requisite Black Forest cake, but it wasn’t quite ready yet (we’ll try that next time). Great experience all around!

I've been hearing about this place for years, and it definitely didn't disappoint. Small but very authentic German menu, food was amazing, tons of character to the atmosphere. Service was kind and quick. There's a cool little grocery type shop nextdoor with lots of imported foods, some that are really hard to find in the USA. Can't wait to go back. Definitely NOT a good choice for vegetarians or vegans.

I have been going here for years and o absolutely love it! The atmosphere, the food, and the amazing owner! I highly recommend getting the pork schnitzel with the wine sauce so delicious!!! The most unique and upbeat place in Hinesville to eat and enjoy an experience!

I would rate this place 10 stars, if I could. The food was absolutely delicious (pork chop dinner and bratwurst dinner, both with potato salad), and the staff was incredibly friendly. We got in a little early at 4pm. By 5pm, when we were leaving, it was getting crowded! I can't wait to eat here again and try something different!

Great food and atmosphere. My waitress Camille had a great sense of humor, was attentive during our meal, and had a great sense of timing of when we wanted dessert. Great at selling the desserts and meals - as I tried all new things I've never tried before. Highly recommend.

This is a full family gig, the food was great but the environment was even better. The staff interacted with the customers just like I remember from the fest tents in Germany. I will definitely eat here again!

Fun little place to discover in the area. The decor and staff are awesome, really sells an entire experience. The food is always hot and looks and smells great. I highly recommend trying this place if you’re considering it.

An amazing dining experience. We really enjoyed the food, the service, and the ambiance of this location we had the schnitzel and it was very good, cooked to perfection. I thought the price was fair for all that you received. I highly recommend a visit. Kathie was an amazing server.
