It's easy as far as the biscuit 🍪 and the service was great no questions ask they ain't nothing better

I tried this place for the first time today and was blown away. I didn't realize that they only take cash until I got up to the register. I had very little cash on me and the very kind lady said don't worry about it just pay me when you come back. I couldn't believe the kindness that I was extended. The lady behind me actually paid for my breakfast as an act of kindness. So nice. The food was incredible and more than enough. I will definitely be going back there again very soon. It was so nice to visit a place that not only serves amazing food but also has an amazing heart. Everyone was so nice. I honestly wish I could give them 10 stars because that's what they truly deserve. Thank you and GOD Bless you

Outstanding Service and Outstanding Food. Driver passing through and decided to stop before Shipper opened literally a mile away and didn't realize it was Cash or Check Only. The nice lady let me eat my breakfast and bring her back the money later. I was/am so thankful. I literally walked across afterwards to gas station and came right back. I'm certain this business will be Blessed for years to come. Hope I can stop by if I'm back in the area. Stay Safe, Stay Blessed

Best biscuits you will ever eat! We eat breakfast here anytime we are going to Athens. The staff are hardworking and friendly. It's a place where everyone knows your name and greet you coming in the door.

First time here, family just moved to the area. Has outstanding biscuits and egg plate. Very customer oriented and friendly. Will be back. Awesome 👍😎

Had such a delicious breakfast here! Plan to go and get your breakfast during their hours. They’re open 5am until 11am. So worth the stop. Best steak biscuit ever. Owner and everyone there was super friendly and clean. Can’t wait to take my husband back here with me.

Wish I did take pictures, but had to rate this place we got in near the last minute some 20 minutes until closing. Let me just say I'm glad too, but I was recommended this place as having some of the best biscuits in town. It sure didn't disappoint either.

If I'm in need of chicken biscuits from here or Bojanles. It's way out of the way for most, but it's worth it even if it makes you late for work lol.

I've been to this place twice since the review, and it's worth every penny. Just remember to bring cash, but they are extremely nice about taking your food and going to ATM across the street to get cash.

The food was very good the service was also good. We got biscuits and gravy. The only problem I could see was there was no sausage in the gravy. If I had known that I would have gotten some sausage and broke it up in there myself. Regardless it was pretty good

The food is always awesome. So really that's a 5 star. But the reason I gave a 3 star is because the place needs a deep clean. As you seat to eat you can't help but see the dust and cobwebs. Those fans scare me. As I'm eating I always looking up to see if that dust is going to fall on my food. Maybe I'm ocd, but really those fans needs a good cleaning

Friendly service and excellent biscuits. I love the chicken, egg, and cheese biscuits. And the bacon, egg, and cheese. Ask for a spoonful of gravy in the biscuit -- delicious. 👍

Not much can be said, or needs to be said for this hole-in-the-wall restaurant besides the fact that they make some of, if not the best, melt in your mouth biscuits I ever have our may ever have again in my life! There is a too oft forgotten, old school feeling of being welcome, and treated like family in Biscuit Express! Hands down, the best breakfast restaurant in this part of the state, maybe country!

The BEST place for Breakfast!! Not your "ordinary" breakfast restaurant either! So many options of breakfast meat, eggs cooked anyway you want, grits, gravy and of course...Biscuits!!! Stop in one time and you will never go anywhere else....EVER!!!

This is by far my favorite place to eat breakfast! Cat head HOMEMADE BISCUITS with just about anything you'd want to put in them.. Or order a breakfast plate and have a delicious biscuit with it. No matter what kind of biscuit I get, they're not stingy with their meats or fillings. Their bacon egg and cheese biscuit is one of my favs.. they pile the bacon on which I LOVE because Bacon is my fav breakfast meat. They have homemade hand pattied sausage ( not the frozen patties) in mild or hot.. I love the hot myself and it is delicious. Their steak and gravy dipped biscuits are out of this world. And their tenderloin biscuit is tender and not thin tenderloin either, just the right thickness. And like all the other biscuits, if you get a country ham biscuit they dont skimp on that either.. you have plenty of ham and its delicious!! I stop by there all the time. They are very friendly and their place is very clean!! If you haven't stopped by there then you definetly need to.. you don't know what you're missing.. but you'll sure be glad you did! Ila Restaurant use to be my fav place to get breakfast/biscuits.. and it is my 2nd fav place to get biscuits.. But Biscuit Express has won me over and they are much friendlier than the people at Ila Restaurant. But it's still my 2nd fav. Stop by you'll be glad you did.. AND their biscuits are not over priced! You definetly get what you pay for..
Bring cash or check as they do not take credit or debit cards!! It may seem they are a little higher than like Bojangles or Holden Pantry but their biscuits are small and they sure don't skimp on their meat or fillings like these fast food restaurants. Like I said you get your money's worth so all in all you don't spend more because you get twuce as much as any fast food restaurant!!

The most popular biscuit joint in the Athens area, for excellent reason. Bojangles probably gets more volume-- because of location and market "positioning"-- but their biscuits are a joke compared to these. A biscuit from B.E. is a MEAL. Some of the other biscuit pushers around here have begun shrinking their biscuits, I guess to save money-- so dumb! How much cheaper can it be, per biscuit, to make a small biscuit? Two cents? So I drive past them now, happy to go further and spend a little more for a product that remains uncompromised.

Best homemade biscuits that I've ever had.You can get just about any kind of breakfast meat put in a soft moist hand made biscuit.Don't forget the gravy, butter, grits or hot sauce.The service it's extremely nice and the kitchen is clean.Just make sure you have cash or checks since they don't take any cards.
