The Townhomes At River Club

I lived at River Club all four years of college and absolutely loved it! I didn’t have any roommates to start with so I was super nervous about living with random people, but the questionnaire when I moved in allowed them to place me with girls who are now my best friends! We spent so many weekends at the pool making friends with other people who lived there too. The office had events all the time so we were always getting free shirts and food, which is the fastest way to every college kid’s heart. Maintenance was always quick to fix any issues we had, and luckily bugs were never an issue for us. So thankful for River Club for helping make my college experience unforgettable in the best way!

I have lived at river club for 3 years, 2 at the townhomes and 1 at the apartments. My experience there has been great, it’s a great price point for what you get compared to other properties around Athens. It’s in a good central location you’re 10 minutes from campus, multiple restaurants, and grocery stores. They have always been very quick to help me resolve roommate issues as well as a few maintenance problems I’ve had during my time there. Overall I have thoroughly enjoyed living here, I wish I wasn’t leaving Athens next year so I could resign.

This apartment complex has been a HUGE upgrade from my last. The townhomes are super cute & spacious, especially for the price. There’s the Athens transit that comes hourly on the weekdays, which is helpful when you don’t have a parking pass for school. The maintenance crew is wicked nice, and the office hosts cute little events every month or so. The only issue we’ve ever had was that our bedrooms all had different furniture supplied. I’d 100% recommend my friends live here too!

I lived at the apartments for 2 years and the townhomes for 2 years and enjoyed every second! The pool is awesome in the summer and if one is busy you have access to the other! I love the roomies I met and I loved having a gym available! Rachel, Madison B., and Madison F. were all always super helpful and sweet in the office! My apartment was clean when I moved in and it was great to have my own bathroom!! 5/5 experience!

Enjoy living here and renewed for the coming year. It feels cozier than other apartments i’ve visited before. The room is spacious and each room has its own bathroom which is nice! We’ve also received so many compliments for the cute wrap-around staircase (3 bedroom) and high ceiling. Employees are nice and have activities and food for residents occasionally!

I previously lived at the River Club Apartments, but moved to the Townhomes with some friends last year, and I've generally enjoyed it. The new management is fantastic (and a lot better than the previous management) and gets things done quickly and efficiently, and the front office workers are always helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff is particularly amazing; no one ever wants to call maintenance for something, but when you need to it's good to have someone who knows what they're doing. Maintenance has been quick to fix any issue I've had and has always been remarkably friendly when doing so (Frank especially is incredibly nice and helpful). There's a bit of wear and tear on the place just because it is an older complex, but I haven't had any major issues that couldn't be solved with either cleaning or calling maintenance.

I’ve honestly had a great experience here and my roommate and I have even renewed our lease for next year! Under the new management I got a smoke alarm finally after being told for months by the old management that they would replace it, everyone in the office is honestly so nice and willing to answer any questions you have, and for the price you honestly can’t beat what you’re getting. It’s pretty close to campus and there’s an Athens Transit bus that stops here so even if you don’t have a car it’s definitely not a long commute. I really love it here and I’ll probably stay until I graduate!

To reiterate this is my time at the River Club Townhomes in 2014-2015.

Having 4 people in a 4 bed / 4 bath is a really great deal. I enjoyed my time at the River Club wishing I had spent more time with their pool amenities. Also a great price when I was there.

House wise - 4.5/5 If you move in with tenants that are renewing their lease your house will most likely be not as clean.

Customer Service - 5/5 Every time I put in a work order from small to large things it was addressed within 2 business days - and fixed.

Appliances - 4.25/5 At my time they were not super new and showed some age and use. The same goes for the floor conditions.

I have had such a wonderful experience here this year. Great housing at an affordable price, great community, and great customer service. Also, I have had numerous experiences with Jahi from the leasing office that were always exceptional. I have felt welcomed since I first came and anytime I need something the staff goes out of there way to make me feel understood and valued. I highly suggest considering The Townhomes at River Club!

A friend actually lived here last year and I just have to say that this place was so great that I am considering it this upcoming year. I actually crashed with him for a few months so I got a great feel for the place. The location is only 8 minutes away from campus (if you beat all the lights) so it isn't too far. The complex itself is very quiet so if studying is a priority then this place is ideal. The maintenance staff was very prompt and professional. The office staff was very helpful as well. The price is one of the best around, so I don't think that you can beat this place.

I have really enjoyed my time here so far! This is my first semester living off-campus and I really don't have any major complaints. For those that are wondering about commuting, the townhomes are only about 10-15 minutes away from UGA's campus and there's a bus stop at the front of the neighborhood where Athens Transit picks up every hour. For the price and everything that is included, especially the townhome already being furnished, it was a great deal for my roommate and I. It's a quiet, friendly, and clean environment, definitely recommend to anyone who is considering living here!

Other places might have more flash, but honestly this is the best deal for the price.
Small and quiet, great for grad students and undergrads that need some space. Office staff is always nice, and have breakfast and snacks for us from time to time. Plenty of light in our townhome, and furniture is very comfortable. I don't understand the other review on here at all.
Resident for 3 years and counting!

The townhomes is a great place to live. The management, location, and townhouse itself are great! The price is reasonable for college students like me. The resident events are always fun, the amenities are nice, and the maintenance and management team are always ready to help with whatever issue you may have.

The Townhomes at River Club is just as nice as the River Club Apartments! The staff is always helpful and I like that they accept pets on their property. I have friends that live there and they enjoy the spacious rooms and the private bathrooms!

It's a nice and quiet place to live. If you're looking to spend more time studying than socializing, this is the place for you. It's not exactly beautiful inside the townhouses and many things are out of date, but the maintenance staff is excellent, which makes up for it. For the price, it's a very great place to live. I feel confident recommending it to friends.

These town homes are right next to the bus stops which makes my commute significantly easier. They have tons of fun events for us and provid food for special events and occasionally for holidays. We even got to make tie dye shirt provided by the townhomes, decorate pumpkins for Halloween, and had a Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving dinner. I have been in a couple of other locations in Athens before river club, and this has by far been my best experience.

Only a 10 minute drive to campus, nice amenities and you have access to the river club apartments amenities as well! Free parking, cheap rent, and you get your own bathroom!

One of the best deals in Athens for student living. The townhomes are super nice and the staff there is amazing. They always have amazing give aways and community events. They also allow pets!

Riverclub is a great place to live. Fun events all the time, great facilities, great people. It’s really got it all and love hanging out with people around.

I’ve lived here for 3 years and it’s been awesome! Management is super accessible and easy to talk to, the maintenance team is one of the fastest I have ever seen, and they offer all kinds of give away’s and free food!
