Absolutely love this place! So glad we found it. We enjoyed the Y’all Nachos with their homemade potato chips and their Superpower Bowl.
Native kitchen is nestled inside the Old Mill in Dalton, GA.
They offer plenty of Gluten-Free, Vegan and other meat dishes and entrees!
You will not be disappointed!

I normally prefer very “simple” foods, so when I visit a place that likes to add complexity, it makes me uneasy.
However, we were quite happy with both the food and the experience.
The location is just spectacular and beautiful.
Well worth the visit.

The place is run by Dustin and his family. Locals that wanted to bring something special to the area, and wow, they nailed it.

The space is a total dopamine booster. Zen, colorful, fun, airy, and bright. Oh, and its located in a super cool old building with a bunch of other neat shops and restaurants.

Food is totally delicious. Everything is well seasoned, not faint, the flavors are there! Well cooked and presented beautifully. Fresh and unique. Love love love.

This is one of those places where I liked the food more as I ate, a sign of great food with layers of flavor.

I love this burger. Nice char (which is rare for a veggie burger, well done!), not dry, terrific flavor, and fresh toppings. The veggies on top were thin-sliced, nice touch!

You're gonna think its small when you see it, and it is. But the burger and the almond bun are dense and it packs a punch and will fill you up if you pair it with a side or two.

I love that the burger is served with only mustard as the sauce, gives it a super unique flavor. However, while, again, the burger is not really dry, I do think a side of another sauce or the addition of another sauce on the burger (maybe as an option) could really take this burger to a whole other level.

Do not be afraid of the almond based bun, I think its 100% a winner. Its dense, salty on the outside, rich and moist on the inside. I loved it. It does get a bit crumbly after a few bites, but just grab a fork and finish that baby off!

Delicious black beans that were not overcooked (again, rare, most places cook them to mush). Not soupy, fresh and yummy.

Some seasonal sauteed veggies, cooked well and seasoned beautifully.

Perfectly fried potatoes, crispy, salty, to die for!

The veggies and the beans we are tad on the cool side when served, the only real negative during the visit.

I am allergic to wheat Aka gluten so when I find a restaurant that has a totally gluten free menu/kitchen I am super interested to go check it out. I have traveled all over the country the last 2.5 years and I am finding more and more places closer to home that are my favorites. 🤗
Why is Native Kitchen one of my favorites to eat at you say? The fact that I don't have to interrogate the server on what my gluten free options are? Or if the frier is a dedicated one with no contamination with any breaded products. To can you have the cooks change there gloves before preparing my food was not even in my mind here.
What was on my mind? The vast array of natural ingredients good wholesome food I could eat was. 😋
Then after ordering I was looking around the unique building or old factory this restaurant and other shops are lucky to be in.
The restaurant was very open, modern, chic style furniture mixed with old block foundations. I loved the atmosphere 😍.
You have a choice of a pretty large area downstairs to a more private smaller upstairs if you like with a view from the large new open window all along the front.
As you can see from the photos 📷 the bright colors that were used.
As I waited I just stared at my favorite color blue on all the old block around me feeling happy.
Then my food came out.
The gluten free bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was delicious. 😋 I don't know who made them but they bread was the best I have ever had for sure. You diffently need to try them it is a must. Then I had fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, fried veggies with a fig jam was amazing 👏. Well done and the perfect end to the perfect breakfast. I also tried one of there protein shakes it was thick and could have been a meal too.
After eating all this good food I couldn't move but was happy. I could see a play area just outside the window for dogs or kids too.
I highly recommend this restaurant you won't be disappointed I promise and tell them I sent you.
If you are allergic to gluten, dairy products this is the place for you and all natural.

I couldn't give this place enough compliments!!! We just googled a random GF restaurant and this came up. The moment we walked into the door we were greeted with kindness and laughter from Haley. We asked for her recommendations and got a pumpkin donut, a oatmeal cream pie, harvest platter, black bean salad and specialty drinks. All of which were 15/10. That was the best GF donut I have ever experienced (thank you). The atmosphere is relaxing, inviting and filled with light from the massive windows in a beautiful brick historical building.

This is my favorite place in Dalton to get great atmosphere and incredibly healthy delicious food! Brady the manager always has a big smile on his face and is eager to please all of his guests. The atmosphere is urban chic, comfortable and relaxing. I feel like I'm on vacation here! The Fig Jam is a must for you to try! They have little areas to just hang and drink a delicious cup of coffee with a fancy design. I always plan to come here when I come to Dalton Georgia! 5 stars 🌟 for service and food.

We went here for a late lunch, and it was a great experience! We ordered our food and ate up on the mezzanine with a look out over the restaurant and a view of the outdoor area.
My husband and I ate the loaded sweet potato with chicken and the potato mash with veggies, and both dishes were incredible. I have food allergies, and once I made the employee aware of them, he made sure none were in the dishes I was interested in. Unfortunately we didn’t order any drinks, but we’ll definitely try them when we come back again.
I highly recommend this place if you are ever in Dalton!

The entire menu is gluten free and dairy free naturally and I absolutely loved being able to find something so perfectly suited for my diet and allergies. I got the South x southwest breakfast scramble and it was everything I needed for the morning. The kale had a delicious dressing that made it so enjoyable. Incredible options for anyone looking for gluten free and vegan 😍 the loft area above the kitchen was so cute and decked out cute chairs. Had plenty of outlets for charging. Great place to study or hang out 💗

Going in with 3 kids can be concerning. They were so friendly and accommodating. At one point the owner chatted to my son about the origami he was making just to engage with him. Great place

This place is insane! My girlfriend and I wanted to try something different and stumbled on this restaurant. Pulling in was slightly confusing because it initially took us to an apartment complex, but once we figured out where the entrance was we found the building was very similar to Krog Market in Atlanta. The building had lots of cool stores and food shops. But back to the food, we were completely blown away. Started with some coffee, I had an iced honey cinnamon latte that was perfectly balanced and sweet. The for food I got the y’all nachos and jam biscuit. Usually it’s a struggle finding a balanced place that offers healthy food that is also flavorful, not here! My jam biscuit was perfectly cooked and tasted beyond delicious. The only thing I didn’t like is that the almond bread starts to fall apart on you, but other than that I wouldn’t have changed a thing. The nachos were spot on, though I should have asked for no jalapeños because my mouth is a baby and can’t handle anything spicy. You definitely need to check this place out!

Thankful to find a dedicated gluten free facility in N GA. I highly recommend the lattes. We got a vanilla and a caramel- the caramel being the flavor winner. They have a great selection of healthy treats, candies and chocolate. The location is in a food hall that i never knew existed! Happy we stopped by after a local softball tournament. Will be stopping again next time we are up in Dalton.

We are not from Dalton, but decided to visit Native Kitchen after a long day at the ball field for our little cousin’s softball tournament. The restaurant is located in an old, renovated factory called The Mill. The restaurant itself has a mix of modern and vintage design elements which provides a comfortable vibe. The lady who took our order had great recommendations and took her time describing the dishes and answering our questions. My wife and I ended up ordering one of their local draft beers, Blueberry Bramble, side salad, Veggie Smash, Y’all Nachos, and a blueberry gluten-free pastry. We enjoyed every single dish! Admittedly, the nachos threw me off because they were served with potato chips rather than traditional tortilla chips. However, I enjoyed the “non-traditional” choice in chip. I saw a few reviewers comment on portion size and price - our total was a little over $50. In my opinion, that is quite inexpensive considering we also ordered drinks and had dessert. While I ate my plate in its entirety, my wife took home the Vegan Smash. Perhaps living in metro Atlanta gives us a different perspective with costs and portion size, but I thought it was quite fair.

Whenever we come back through Dalton we would certainly consider eating here again! So give it a try - you will not be disappointed!

Located in an old cotton mill the entire place is unique. When you enter into Native it has a cool vibe with an open atmosphere and clean. Lots of seating on main floor or you can go upstairs where there is more seating. A cool thing is, you can grab a drink and walk around the shops in the mill.
There is outdoor seating with a play area for kids and it is dog friendly.

The food. Fresh and delicious! It’s was so nice to find a place that had so many vegan and gluten free options. We had a power bowl and a loaded sweet potato. Both were delicious.

The drinks. My husband said the gluten free 16oz canned beer was great. I had the Lavender and lemon mocktail that is delicious.

The Pricing. We felt some dishes could have been priced a $1 or $2 less for what you get. But you are getting fresh healthy food with a beautiful presentation so we’re not going to let the price get in the way. We thought the drinks we had were reasonable.

The staff. First it is so refreshing to actually see smiling faces. Victoria and Clare are delightful! Very friendly, joked around with us and we’re very helpful with all our questions.

Would we go back? YES!! And we did the next day. We felt as if we had made new friends the night before. Victoria and Clare saw us walk in and had huge smiles on their faces and greeted us like we were long time friends. Victoria even remembered what drinks we liked and got them for us right away. I also ordered a hot coconut milk lavender latte that Clare said was popular. It was very good.

Definitely will be back.

The price quality ratio is just so good. I can’t believe the price I paid for what I got. Tasted amazing and on top of that it was healthy. The kale was a bit too salty though. You get to eat in a really beautiful place with tons of windows. I like the fact that they have signature coffees so you can try new flavours. And finally they have a 3$ latte special for students.

Had such a wonderful experience here. The food was incredible (I had the avocado bacon sandwich). The environment was so great, and they had an awesome outdoor space.

Hands down !!!! The best gluten free restaurant in Dalton, Georgia!!! And also I believe the only one of its kind! I really love this place! Great food! Great people ! Good vibes! What more can you ask for.

Hosted a baby shower there today. Dustin, the owner, and his staff were a pleasure to work with. They set up two tables for us, provided ice, and a few extra cups when I ran out. The private room was very inviting and bright and open. The mama to be was thrilled and the guests loved the atmosphere! I highly recommend this location - friendly, helpful and lovely to work with. Thanks so much for making this event go so effortlessly.

Absolutely delicious! Even if your are not gluten free or dairy free the food is unique and flavorful. My favorite part is not having to worry about what I can eat, it's all gluten free <3

A very fun atmosphere, nice staff, and amazing food. Everything is gluten free, with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. But more importantly: delicious!
