This place is cool. There’s 2 places to drive to inside, then tons of hiking areas to see more the art work, structures, and more. Very peaceful area. The pay area needs to be a little easier to find. But so much fun. Can hit bells, spin bells, lots of touching which is cool.

One of my favorite places I’ve ever been too! I can’t believe any negative reviews honestly… I guess you just can’t please everyone. Geez! This place is WONDERFUL! It’s incredibly peaceful and relaxing. There’s lots of beautiful sculptures and things to be had. The only wee negative thing is I wish there was better signage. We’ve been here many times and there’s things in the photograph we still haven’t even found which is a bit odd. Hopefully we can find them the next time we go soon! The medicine wheel is my favorite sacred place. I also love the beautiful pond. Grounds could use a little upkeep but it’s a lot of property to manage I’m sure. I think 7$ per person is reasonable. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy some peace and serenity!! ❤❤❤

As far as private gardens/preserves go, this one is beautiful. ⭐for having bathrooms, maintained trails, maintained signage and keeping the place up.
Worth the $7 charge, at least once.
Great feature for the island.

Title: A Serene Oasis of Natural Beauty and Tranquility

Review:
Earth Sanctuary on Whidbey Island is a hidden gem that offers a truly transformative experience. From the moment I set foot on the grounds, I was captivated by the serene atmosphere and the breathtaking beauty of the natural surroundings.

The meticulously designed nature trails wind through lush forests, meadows, and enchanting wetlands, creating a harmonious ecosystem that invites exploration and connection. The integration of art and spirituality throughout the sanctuary adds an extra layer of depth to the experience. The stunning sculptures, labyrinth, and meditation areas provide serene spaces for reflection and contemplation.

Whether you seek inner peace, a chance to reconnect with nature, or simply a tranquil escape, Earth Sanctuary on Whidbey Island is a must-visit destination. It offers a sanctuary for the soul, where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and leave with a renewed sense of appreciation for the wonders of the earth.

It's beyond my comprehension that people pay $7 for a latte, and complain about a $7 fee to experience a nature preserve with carefully laid out spiritual experience opportunities. I've noticed when I visit I bring my attitude with me 🤣 and some contemplation time helps me reset. I appreciate the mud; it rains here. I appreciate the wildness of the pond and the huts and the standing stones. If you are looking for a tourist-focused park, this is not it.

I would have like to have seen more of the rock statues. The directions were not very clear.. it seemed that all you would do is Walk and Walk and Walk where the grass had been mode with no direction where you are going.I guess if you were going to be there all day the cost of the day fee of $7 would be worth it.. I did however enjoy the meditation...

An afternoon spent exploring the forest and ponds of Earth Sanctuary is a magical getaway. The art, stone circles, stupa and prayer wheels intermixed with some of the best wildlife viewing on Whidbey Island.

Just the perfect place to spend (first) time on my birthday in a purposeful day of gratitude and appreciation for this earth that I adore and the loving life I've been blessed to live. A powerful aura of peace, intention, reverence and celebration pervade these luscious grounds.

You'll think you're in Tibet when you see the Buddhist Stupa, prayer wheels and prayer flags and that's just the beginning. If you're 420 friendly you might want to partake before starting the trail. Enjoy.

What a wonderful place. My family was looking to do a memorial tree in memory of my grandparents.

We were greeted by Charles the owner when we got there. We walked around the well-maintained grounds looking at different trees. There’s many acres to the Earth sanctuary. It was great to see so much wildlife.

An walking passed an seeing other families that did a memorial tree for there loved ones. We knew we in the right places to remember our loved ones.

It’s a quick ferry, boat ride from, Mukilteo. Make sure to bring your walking shoes.

If you live on Whidbey Island, or are a visitor, put this on your list. Beautifully preserved 72 acres of calm in Freeland. I was last there a decade ago, and need to put it at the top of my Whidbey list, which includes Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve in Coupeville. Thank you, Chuck Pettis, for preserving this slice of South Whidbey for all of us.

I am so grateful this place exists, tremendous gratitude to the gentleman who ensured the area's care and preservation for the future. A natural sanctuary on an island which is already itself an escape from the concrete jungle so unlike the natural one which preceded it. I have only seen a small bit of this expanse but hope to gradually see every acre ! Bless this space <3
