How fun, what a great way to spend an afternoon. Too be able to go snow skiing, tubing, and so close by. It's an hour from downtown KC!
Our family has come here for years. It's pretty nice facilities! We went on Friday afternoon, with no lines, no wait. Boot, ski, and snowboard rental is easy. I love to read in the lodge and hang out, and take pictures and videos. Awesome place~ You have to go here, we will be back 😀 ❄☃🎿🛷❤

First time skiing ever. It better to order the ticket online than ordering it at the front desk, save you some money and time. I went at night skiing, there wasn’t many people there.

Great ski area! Well maintained, rental area for skis and snowboarding. It's a great place to learn how to ski and advance your skills. They have lessons and practice area. There are more advanced runs too. They also have snow tubing area that's a lot of fun. It's a hidden gem!

This is a great place for those of us who live too far from the mountains to just get up and go skiing! It is also a fantastic place to learn to ski. My husband learned here and we just took my three year old (who had a BLAST!) you can rent all of the necessary equipment and the overall cost compared to a big mountain resort is very affordable. There are several lifts. The conveyer was great for learners!! Easy to use and in an area that has just a gentle slope for learning. (I do not recommend the rope pull unless you absolutely cannot do a chair lift!) the workers are kind and fun. There are 60+ instructors for lessons and classes. You can either ski or snowboard. There is also a terrain park for trick skiing/boarding. My son liked the easy slopes most. I enjoy the sharper downhills. This park has it all. There is a lodge with a variety of food (prices are resort like so be sure to bring snacks if you get hungry but don’t want to spend money!) they have lockers or for free (and your own risk) cubbies you can keep your personal goodies in. We registered online which was super easy and cheaper. They use a card system for lifts so bring something with pockets to keep it in (or they sell holders in the shop). Also, as it is Missouri bring a variety of clothes. Most times we go it gets warm enough we are stripping layers during the sunny/warm parts of the day, but it gets colder after dark so make sure you have the right gear. There is also snow tubing! I did this for the first time this trip. It is SO FAST!! Be sure if you have young people they are not afraid of heights and speed! It was super fun. Overall we love this place!

Snow Creek is awesome! The Fun Factor per Dollar Invested definitely beats Colorado (at $250 - $295/Keystone lift ticket, I can't justify that trip on a retirement income. Jason's Run is plenty challenging for me & in the middle of a Midwest winter, it sure beats ice fishing, especially when the fish aren't biting!

This place is so cool. I grew up skiing here and there seems to be a couple things that newbys should be aware of. First, this is Missouri. The weather is rarely cooperative. We get days where you can ski in a T-shirt and nights where you need full gear. Manmade snow that is constantly thawing and refreezing makes for icy slick, fast runs. If you have experienced fresh powder, this isn't that. Think about it this way: if fresh powder were a Cadillac, this snow is a Ferrari. Just set your expectation for quick, fast runs that will challenge your skiing abilities in new and unique ways.

This is our hill to practice on as locals. We're lucky to have it. The staff is professional, the ski patrol is responsive, and the instruction is good. It's not their fault we have no snow some years.

Great cheap skiing experience. Paid $103 for 1 day, including equipment rental (skis, boots, helmet, poles).

Food was reasonably priced. $5 for a can of bud light, just over $8 for two slices of good pizza.

All of the lifts were working the entire day, and there was plenty of snow. Got a little icy by the end of the day, but that’s expected. Employees were helpful whenever I had questions.

This place is so much fun! We only did tubing but got to watch all the skiing as well. It's a perfect place to take a family for just a fun day for all ages. They also have delicious pizza and plenty of drinks! It is beautiful.

Conveniently located and something for everyone! Fire pits, Tubing Hill, a conveyor belts for the beginner Hill and a trick park for advanced. If you snowboard I totally recommend using their boots. Great food at the warming Hut. Prices are not bad. Or, you can byo food and tailgate. Open until midnight. This is a special place!

We visited the Tornado Alley Snow Tubing Park the 2nd day they opened for the 2020-2021 season so we could make a video for our channel. Making the reservations was a little harder because it wasn't located under "tickets" on the website but once we found them it was an easy process. We were also worried about taking our 3 year old but he loved it...once we were at the bottom of the hill each time. He saw other children that were unsure at the top which seemed contagious but in our case he was ready to "Do it Again!" The staff was very friendly helping us when we were lost and even when reprimanding our kids for sitting on the belt. While on the $$ side it was a super fun activity to do for all 5 of us.

Great place to go for the day. Hills for beginners to advance skiiers or snowboarders. Recommend going early as it gets busy quickly. I like that Snow Creek will allow you to switch from snowboard to skis or vice versa which is great for 1st timers. Staff is great also, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Awesome spot! I went snowboarding for the first time here with my daughter and loved it. Got lessons for both of us and our coach Eric N. was the best snowboarding instructor. We got there a lil late and he chose to still help us out, even tho the rest of our group had already started.

Had a great time. Very good place to learn/brush up on your skiing. Great facilities and staff. Bringing my kids back for a homeschool day. They offer great discounts if you have 15 or more in a group.

Had an awesome time at Snow Creek! I have wanted to go snowboarding for a while but never could really afford it. As of this review it was only $118 for me to get a 2 hour lesson, lift ticket and rental gear. There were kids as young as 3 years old out there leaving so the age range of every body there is wide. There also was a fun little event where you could ski down the advanced slope and then try to cross a small pond of water without falling in.

Been to snow creek many times. Very fun place for the family and has lessons to assist new skiers. Decent bar and snack areas for food and warming up. Rental equipment isn't junk and the night skiing is fun! Take some friends and check out this place or go for tubing at night if you're afraid of retaking something!

This was my 1st time going to Snow Creek. I took my 10yr old and 4yr old girls for a fun night out. We did the tubing and even though it was ice cold weather we managed to stay warm with extra layers of clothing. Going down the hill reminds me of a rollercoaster with cold wind hitting you in the face. It was so much fun. I wouldnt recommend it for kids younger than 4 because it's a lot of walking up and down slick hills and dragging the tube. The food was really affordable or you can bring in your own. I plan on going next year.
