This was my first visit and Shamra was my stylist. I have a lot of long, thick hair and I’d let all my color grow out. She gave me a great cut and my color is beautiful. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. Looking forward to seeing her again in 8 weeks!

First visit yesterday at Southern Roots. My appointment was with Shamra. This young lady did an amazing job on the color and the cut. She is a very good communicator, telling me what she was going to do next at every step. I like that! I wanted a different shorter style than what I had and she got that perfect. Not too much off, but just enough. Will definitely be making future appointments at Southern Roots with Shamra.

I LOVE MY HAIR!! Maci did a fantastic job! My friends are freaking out, saying this is the best they have ever seen my hair. This was my first visit to the salon and I loved how Maci listened to me and did exactly what I asked her to. I'm usually at a salon for hours. She had me taken care of in 2 hours! This was my first visit to the salon and I loved the friendly atmosphere and the teamwork.

This salon is incredible! A good friend recommended this salon to me after I took my toddler here after a bad experience at kids salon and the difference is night and day. His stylist, Shelly was so nice and patient and she helped make the cut enjoyable for him. She did a beautiful job. He was laughing and giggling and he ended up with a very nice and even cut! The stylists here genuinely care about their clients and are very professional. We will definitely be returning and I would recommend this salon.

Shamra is amazing! She has done a viking cut on both my husband and son and she then colored my hair a fun shade of blue to help me get my confidence back from a previous bad dye job done by someone else! She will forever by my hair girl!

I love Shamra !! I met her about 2 or 3 years ago and i have been going to her ever since. She is a funny person, well rounded, down to earth and so caring. She has restored and helped my hair so much I am forever thankful for her. I definitely recommend coming to see her !!

Just this week I had my 3rd visit with Shamra! She listens to what I want to do with cut and color and offers advice. She’s so very gentle, I’ve never had anyone take foils out with such care not to pull my hair. Same with brushing and blow drying. Shamra has done a beautiful job on my hair every time. And she’s sweet as can be. I look forward to seeing what we do next! Highly recommend Shamra and Southern Roots Salon!

If I could give a million stars I would ! Jenna and the staff here are so amazing ! I all of a sudden got the day off today and was looking around all morning for a hair stylist that would take me at such short notice and when I called they were more then welcome to take me in ! Now I didn’t know much about hair so I only asked over the phone for a cut and color which is simple enough but when she started I quickly noticed it wasn’t just a cut and Color but a balayage! She had every right to tell me that it was a longer process and I should wait to make an appt but she didn’t and carried on without even telling me it was a inconvenience.. she had other clients walking in and never made me feel like a burden! She took my hair from a orangey brown to my dream color and was vary honest in the beginning that it may not turn out how I wanted with just one appt and I have never found that in a stylist around here so it was vary pleasing! I have found my forever salon thank y’all so much !!

The salon is beautifully set up. The stylists were so sweet. We asked for a fashion color on my daughter and she loved it 💕 Thank you Shamra. I will be sending all of my friends and family to get their dream styles at your salon.

Lacey the owner has a first class shop that is lively and clean. I always enjoy the atmosphere. In addition to the great business she does a top notch cut!

Belinda does a fantastic job. Takes her time, very friendly, and her cut is tight!

Loved it here! Will definitely be coming back. In response to the person complaining about masks, they will wear them if you request it and they do have plastic curtains between each station so you’re not exposed to the customer beside you should they not have one on. No reason to leave a bad review based on that. Shelly was super sweet and did a great job.
