If you are looking for craft beer and a fun night out, you would be hard pressed to find a better place in Durham than Beer Tooth Taproom. It is obvious the owners care about the quality of their beer and keep their lines clean, as well as make sure their taproom is as welcoming a place as can be.

As a bartender and beer purchaser, Christa is probably one of the most diligent and honest people I have ever met in how she thinks about beer and how she selects her offerings. Her palate is extremely discerning and she selects amazing quality beer, many which are local from around the region. Her pricing is exceedingly competitive and is a great value. Even the stock of beer and seltzers in the fridge is quality, with attention paid to the quality of Non-Alcoholic brews and beverages she has on hand as well. With that level of attention to detail, you can expect that your experience will meet your expectation.

Beer Tooth has many event nights as well, with a run club on Mondays, Craft club on Tuesdays, A Beer School on every first Wednesday, Trivia Thursdays, and many weekend events, so it feels like there is always something to look forward to, while still maintaining a comfortable and casual atmosphere. Plus it’s pet friendly for friendly pets, which is pretty great.

All in all, having been a consistent patron of this establishment for over a year, I cannot recommend Beer Tooth Taproom enough. There is a lot of fantastic craft brew options in south Durham, but if you haven’t tried this one yet, do yourself a favor. It truly is a hidden gem. You won’t regret it.

If you’re in the area and you like beer, you must go here. The knowledge of the beer-making process seems to be the core of Beer Tooth (which is pretty important for a good brew). I’ve learned so much and appreciated the process more than I thought I would. Friendly staff, chill vibe, and you’ll almost always meet a cute puppy.

Great staff and great tap selection. Be sure to also check out their fridge for some off-the-wall stuff. I sometimes drop in to "work-from-home" here with their wifi. Quieter than Bean Trader's and I won't tell your boss if you don't tell mine :D

I’ve always said “oh I’m not a beer person!” Beer Tooth proved that was a lie! I just wasn’t drinking a beer I liked! I have learned so much from the owners on the different styles of beers and the unique characteristics and flavors they bring. The selections rotate, however the owners will always do their best to keep costumer favorites on tap! They love feedback! The atmosphere and people bring a family vibe even if it’s the first time meeting. You won’t meet a stranger at Beer Tooth! They also support local charities and organizations that give back to the community! Go support the locally woman owned business and enjoy the beer!

Stopped in spur of moment and really enjoyed the visit! The Beer Tooth staff were all super friendly and gave great recommendations. We definitely really enjoyed the beer selection and highly recommend come in for a relaxed and fun atmosphere! The location is pet friendly and they do have 2 tvs if you want to enjoy a little sports. Talked with one of the owners and she's really awesome and really made us feel appreciated as patrons! Great spot for meeting up for Drinks after Shiki Sushi... New up and coming spot!

The owner Christa is the nicest person. Even someone who can't drink alcohol like me can have a great time! I'll definitely be coming back :)

I really like the atmosphere of this place. As someone who likes to go out solo I wasn't intimidated. The outdoor seating is covered and comfortable and next door to two really good places to eat. The owners were super friendly and the manager was great too. I plan on continuing to come back regularly.

Beer Tooth has a great selection of beverages including ciders and seltzers for those of us who don’t drink much beer. Toia is awesome! Super friendly, knows her stuff, and stays on top of everything. Outdoor seating as well.

Beer Tooth Taproom is a awesome new local taproom with great beer! I love the vibe! They have tv's (can watch sports), games, dog beds, etc. The place feels cozy with a few couches! I also love how the staff is wearing masks and requires their customer to wear masks! Give this place a try!

A really relaxed place. Quiet with a kind of coffee shop atmosphere. Changing selection with a good variety. The Thursday trivia and events are cool. Very dog friendly. Food available next door.

Great neighborhood spot to grab a beer. Friendly staff and a nice small space to meet up. Wish the outside seating area was a little nicer but I’m sure they will build that out eventually. Good beer selection with something for everyone.

If you enjoy craft beers than this is the place for you! It's a new, cozy bar to have a good time at. They even have a run club that meets on Mondays. The staff is super knowledgeable on beer! I'm hooked and I'm going back!

Great new spot. Owner was very honest,knowledgeable, and friendly. Saw the run club show up def want to check that out next time. Tried a few samples but fell in love with one of their fruity sours ! Will def be back especially for outdoor seating

I was privileged enough to have a "Flight Class" at Beer Tooth today and it was an incredible experience. Knowledgeable staff, incredible beer and a great atmosphere. I recommend the NodA Captain Peanut Crowler to go.

Friendly neighborhood bar with excellent beer options. Dog friendly too!

Delicious beer, phenomenal service, and you might even get to meet the resident mascot great dane, who's a giant sweetheart couch potato! A hidden gem. Please go visit.
