My wife was telling me about this soulfood place she said moved from Flowood that she wanted to try. I told her I was on board with trying them out. So she went got the food. I had country fried steak with double mashed potatoes w/gravy. My wife had beef liver w/ grilled onions and gravy with greens & yams. We also had a order of fried gizzards too. This was a good Sunday meal on a Saturday. I was very impressed with the flavor of the food & how good it taste. It gave me that homemade feeling from eating at my mom's house growing up.Everything was on point. This was definitely a good meal & we definitely will be back to try something different on the menu. Then plus it's only a few minutes from my house. Please put this spot on your to-do list if you're looking for a GOOD soulfood/home cooked meal.......

Recently discovered this place last Friday and a co-worker and I decided to give it a try. I got the Hi-Maintenance burger and it was absolute perfection. Then Saturday, I returned with my wife and a couple of friends, all of which absolutely loved the food. My coworker and I tried to go AGAIN that following Monday and realized they were closed, so we’ve already decided to go back tomorrow when they’re open. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you REALLY are missing out. It does take a bit to receive your food, but that’s because it’s made to order and it’s WELL worth the wait. Will DEFINITELY be a regular customer here and recommend them to anyone.

This place is great. I love the food and the atmosphere. It's black owned and in a good location. I have been twice and will be back. It's family operated but they staff does a great job with orders. Try the wingette basket regular bread with fries. Thank me later

Everything I've had from here was Phenomenal!!!! The fried chicken wingettes are my absolute favorite 😍 the liver and gizzard and please let's not discuss the onion rings!! OMG!!!! PHENOMENAL is all I can say! Try it for yourself.

First time going in after they recently opened. I got the Philly Cheesesteak which comes with fries and I also purchased a side salad.
12.99 for the meal, 3.99 for the salad.

There were multiple bottles of hand sanitizer throughout the place and it all looked very clean.

Lotta soul with all the handwritten menus and pretty up to date with a QR code you can just take a picture of and always have an updated menu in your camera roll.

The cheesesteak was PHENOMENAL. Pretty sure they used a thick queso dip for the cheese with a healthy amount of steak that was cubed and so easy to eat since it wasn’t coming out in strips. Jalapeños and onions and maybe other veggies in the sandwich. The bread was amazing too! Looked and tasted high quality and not super doughy. The fries were thin and pretty crispy. The salad had a lot of toppings and was very fresh and delicious.

Can’t wait for the place to get big. Highly recommended.

Ty was the best serving the most amazing food. Like literally. We’re from Georgia where there’s a massive amount of soul food restaurants, but this one is truly the best one we’ve come across. Please do yourself a favor and come fill up on great food, drinks and vibes

I like that orders are prepared when you order and not just sitting under the warmer. The service was professional and food was good.

This is easily the best place I've ate at. Everything is delicious, and I can't stress that enough.

This place is wonderful! My son recommended and I knew if he said it was good it would be and it is! I'm not a bug beef fan but hubs and I both got burgers and they were wonderful! I had Swiss and he had jalapeños one. The fries are seasoned perfectly and the serving suze is MORE than generous! The service was right on part! So so so sweet! They even fixed us a box of goodies for bring first timers! My husband is in love with the fried jalapeños!! We WILL go back and can't wait to try more! What are you waiting for? GO!!

Wonderful!! Meatloaf Plate with Mac and cheese and black eye peas. Been so long since I had good vegetables!! Baked chicken mashed potatoes and mixed greens is the plate my lady chose. Didn’t disappoint. We are definitely coming back. I want the 21ox burger next!!

The messy fries are the bomb. They are a must order. The Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, chicken tenders, okra, and lemon pound cake were all amazing. Support this locally owned business. It's worth the trip.

This was my first time trying Soul Sistas'. I work overnight so I had time that day😁 The food is made to order. I ordered the pot roast with mac and cheese and yams. It was bussing 😋 I didn't know it came with rice so I ate it all🤷🏾‍♀ The older gentleman that took my order was friendly and polite. Good customer service. I will be back.

We enjoyed the plate lunch, good catfish and chicken livers. Try the carrot cake. Delicious and beautifully presented.

I tasted their food for the first time and it was awesome. This cashier was so sweet and helpful in suggesting items to try. I had their greens OMG their greens reminded me of my grandmothers greens. And nobody can cook better than my granny 😋. But their food is so delicious. Good ole soul cooking food. But that isn’t all they serve anything you want. This is my new eating diner.
