Sapor

The best service and the food is outstanding. We started with the baked oysters, my wife had the salmon and I had the steak salad. Everything was very fresh and perfectly prepared. We finished up the cheese platter and coffee.

Thanks to the entire staff for fabulous evening. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary.

Except the entrance through an alleyway instead of entry through the main road, this restaurant checks out all the boxes of fine dine. Starting from the service, Angie was very accommodating to our dietary restriction and was very courteous. The bar menu was short but really hit the spot. The ambience was good. Coming to the food, it was brilliant! The chef has really nailed down those dishes and has an amazing take on flavors. I would definitely visit this establishment again and recommend it to a friend.

We were visiting from out of town and came to Sapor to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary. Ted and his team took wonderful care of us! Very attentive while still giving us plenty of time to enjoy the delicious food. I ordered a drink not on the menu and they accommodated it with ease. The chef (Bubba, I believe his name was) clearly knows what he is doing! This level of food/skill is a rare gem on the peninsula. We enjoyed steak, crab, and short ribs - all clearly fresh and cooked perfectly. And the dessert is not to be missed either. It was the cherry on top to an already delicious meal! I wish we were local so that we could visit more often, but we’ll just have to wait until our next vacation to enjoy Sapor again!

We enjoy the front of the house and especially Ted. The service is top notch. We’ve ordered several items from the menu and everything has been unique and full of flavor.

Sapor combines the old with the new, and it is something worth mentioning.

Previously, this place used to be called Michaels. A restaurant local to Port Angeles, Michaels had outstanding food, service, Lowlight ambiance, and old timey decor. Skip forward a few years and the food and the service persist however the interior has had a refresh and a name change from Michaels to Sapor.

Sapor keeps all the of the great things from Michaels and brings it to Sapor. The food, the flavor, the service all the same (if not better). What Sapor does offer over Michaels is the ambiance. The entire interior decor is refreshed. The refreshed look is bright, friendly, and elegant.

The flavor of Sapor is spot on. Due to COVID-19, food shortages, and decreased supply of some menu items Sapor does not offer some entrees. So the food it does serve is surely made to impress and delight your tastebuds.

Pricing is a bit on the pricey side but it is because the food and service are so great. There is no exterior seating but it seems like the staff does abide by covid-19 social distancing guidelines. Parking can be a difficult task as it is either you find a parking in the nearby public parking area or in the street, otherwise expect to walk a few blocks.

All and all, I am happy the restaurant Michaels and its excellent aspects exist under the name of Sapor. This is a place you definitely want to visit for a date and/or family get together.

The food and drinks here are crazy good. I ate here three times in one week. Tried some fancy items on the menu as well as their hamburger and fries. Can't believe a place this good is in such a small city!

Amazing service by Evan and Angie. I was so impressed. If you're looking for fine dining in the Port Angeles area, this is the place. I was even more impressed by the prices. I got a three course meal with wine for 2 for under $100.00. We will be back in again.

Amazing food! The potato puffs were to-die-for, the steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly, the pork chop was fat and juicy, and the oysters were huge. We loved this spot for an intimate evening in PA.

What a great addition to the downtown! There was a very speak-easy vibe to Sapor. The updates to the restaurant were amazing and the food was equally as fantastic. Once seated they brought us a delicious plate of
Focaccia bread and an olive tapenade. I ordered a mixed drink called the Klahanne, which was absolutely delicious. For our meals we each ordered a different protein and sampled each other’s plates. For dessert we had the LOL and the poached pear (which I ate before I could get a photo of!). Dinner was absolutely delicious, as well as dinner. It got a little busy in there after we sat down, but everyone was well spaced apart and the staff wore masks and gloves! Again, great addition to the downtown!

Long overdue review. I had my wedding dinner here in March 2023. We had met with John, the owner, to discuss and plan. We had reserved a section of the restaurant. But on the night of the dinner, John had actually closed the restaurant just for my wedding dinner! We had 2 servers for my party size who were just fabulous and wonderful. John was very accommodating and the food was perfect. The atmosphere, the mood, the lighting, the table decor were all perfect. Very cozy and intimate. My wife and I had no complaints whatsoever. My family and friends loved the food. We highly recommend this lovely restaurant for date nights and special occasions in Port Angeles

What a relief to find this treasure trove! The chef was creative with his menu, and I was delighted that I ordered another meal for the following day.
The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the sauce to accompany the dish was a perfect match . My mouth was in utter joy.
The staff were very tentative and to notch . I highly recommend stopping in. Don't miss out!

Possibly the best pork chop I've ever eaten. The staff was all really nice, not too long of a wait, and the food was amazing.

Wow, wow. Everything was great. The artichoke was amazing, clasms, boxies, salmon, salads all great but the dessert was to die for. Orange chocolate pot....yummmm.

Our meal was absolutely divine. Our server Ted took excellent care of us as well. I have been to Sapor three times, whenever we go explore the Olympic peninsula. Even with all of the wondrous shores, forests and wildlife, Sapor is a highlight on our trips!

This menu is crafted exceptionally well, you have to experience it!

My personal opinion: Order the puffs, the braised chicken and the crème brûlée. Chefs kiss - you won’t regret it!

The ambiance is quiet with sun lights. The libations were great and the food was delicious. There were some dice vegan, gluten free options and the seafood was the best I’ve had in Port Angeles. The staff weee very friendly. All in all, we had a great experience. I would recommend this place.

We had great dinner here, the service was cheerful and food was excellent. There is a main dining area and bistro, we were sat in the dining area because the bistro was full with some live music. We really enjoyed the potato cheese puffs!

A hidden gem a bit off the beaten path (through an alleyway, not on the main road). Spent the day hiking in Olympic NP and this was such a good meal to end the day. Abby’s service was incredible and the food was great. 10/10 recommend!

Service was great thanks to Ted! We celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful time! Appetizers were great, snd dinner was awesome... as was the dessert! They also have another separate bistro restaurant adjoining it that has music and different menu options it's worth checking out! Thanks Sapor for a wonderful experience with excellent food!

I was in Sapor tonight, and Ted was an absolute joy! His service and and friendliest was second to none. Our chef who I met as Bubba was an complete joy as well. I love this place and cannot wait until I get back here for another delectable meal. Such a great place to be able to visit.

We were so delighted to find this place! Not discovered yet! Had the extremely delicious clams, foraged mushroom polenta, marinated beet salad— loved the service, space, prices ( reasonable) and the very high caliber of the food— lots of options too! Cocktails looked lovely and wine was good & we’ll priced. A meal to remember
