I went to this sweet little local shop this morning, praying I would find comfortable quality dress shoes and I did! The man working there was so friendly and helpful! The shop has some really cool shoe history inside! I am very happy I stopped in this morning. I will be back!

On a cross country road trip from Colorado to the PNW and back. Left when temps were warm and I only had my Chacos. I have traveled the globe with only those sandals and never needed anything else. Admittedly always warmer climates. Got desperate and walked in to see if a pair of closed toe shoes could be afforded. I was met with outstanding customer service especially when it comes to size and fit. I hate boots because of the on/off festival. I just want shoes I can slip on...but lo and behold they found me a slip on Keen BOOT that has been with me now for 5 days and done most of Olympic National Park without fail. Warm. Dry. Happy feet...even through the Hoh Rainforest!

I bought the most comfortable walking/ hiking shoes here I have ever had. When the shoes started having issues, the owner of the store made it right without any problems.

There is a very good selection of shoes and work boots and, best of all, the folks there know shoes. No pressure sales in this store, just friendly service.

My husband struggled for years to find comfortable work boots that also met shop safety requirements. The owner took a look at his feet and recommended a style of work boots that fit perfectly and are very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.

Family Shoe Store is fantastic! Eric helped my wife pick out two new pair of Hoka shoes, then custom-fit inserts for her. After wearing the shoes for two weeks, we went in to have them fine-tuned, and Kevin updated and adjusted the inserts, all included in the original purchase price. We've received the same expert, friendly service each time we visit. For the past eight years, it's the only place my wife will buy shoes.

When you first see the price tag, you want to have a heart attack but upon talking to the gentleman who runs it, you understand why the price is up there. The shoes are very well constructed. My wife and I both got a pair of waterproof boots that are capable of hiking the local trails. He is very knowledgeable and can answer just about any question you have. No high pressure sales here. Absolutely wonderful place to get shoes. Will be going back and getting more shoes for sure.

By far the best shoe store in town!! Not only do they have every kind of top line shoes they also service and clean and repair shoes! They have awesome deals and sales daily on the racks! Always switching it up!! I heard they attend shoe shows and keep up with trend as well! It’s an antique store and has awesome history upstairs ! Fabulous job!! My favorite are the Steve maddens !!

Kevin and his son have been fantastic to work with. Really helped narrowing down the proper size boot and tips for long term care. This is why I shop local retail. Cool dudes!

Kevin honored a pair of shoes that had a little thing that I did not like about them. He exchanged them for a pair that works well for me. Its a nice family type store with a nice selection for Men. I was able to get a nice pair of winter / fall time shoes here that I like.

Kevin was extremely helpful in fitting me for arch support orthotics. He had more accurate information than the orthopedic physician who prescribed the arch support. Kevin watched how I walked, looked at how my insoles were worn, and knew exactly what was causing the problem. He not only found the perfect insoles, but also gave me exercises to help my posture and foot trouble. What a wonderful resource for the Olympic Peninsula!

This was the most pleasant shoe shopping experience I've ever had. The staff was beyond helpful. The shoes I found were great. It was pricey, but worth it!

Great place for footwear!!! They really know there stuff. It feels like having a podiatrist fit shoes for me. Big fan of their birkenstock and hokas selection!
