The food here is fantastic! I just ordered/got the Volcano Shrimp Tacos for a second time and they are awesome! A nice little pop, but not overpowering. If I could call to tell them that, I would. I hope they add them to the menu permanently. Anything that I have ordered here is top notch. Service is great, and always ready on time.

Spicy chicken sandwich was delicious! The menu is huge with a lot of options. Our server was really friendly and would come back again if I'm around.

The food is awesome. I got the crunchy peanut chicken bowl without the mint and added a fried egg. My husband got the chilli crisp chicken bowl and I tried some of his chicken and it was really good!

Pretty good Korean bbq, got the steak and pork belly bowls with veggies instead or rice. Good flavor. Seems mostly like a takeout joint, outdoor seating but all the orders are given in a bag.

I’m pretty critical when it comes to Asian food so says my foodie friend but this place is good. Not authentically one type of Asian cuisine but one of the best fusion places in the area

The food here is amazing. So delicious. Hands down best fries I’ve ever had. Service was also exceptional. Had to sit outside in the cold due to interior renovations but didn’t mind one bit due to the tasty food and helpful staff

Cute outdoor venue with so many menu options. Everything looked so good! I had the cabbage salad and an IPA. Also they have amazing Banh Mi sandwiches. Overall, good vibes, good beer and food, and attentive service. Highly recommend.

Please bring the Jerk Turkey Tacos back! My go-to is always the Baht Mi sandwich but this special caught my eye and boy am I glad I tried it. I haven't found an amazing jerk dish in the triangle but this knocked my socks off! I hope I'll see it again. Easily a top contender on the menu!

A coworker introduced me to this spot. The first time, she ordered pick up at our job so I only got to taste the food. We went again but we went to eat there. There is no inside eating but they have a handful of tables for outdoor eating. The server was incredibly friendly! Menu and ordering is accessible online. I forgot what I had the first time but regardless, I have not been disappointed yet. The flavors are amazing! When you see the food, you taste what you see: the bright vivid colors translate into bursting flavors. Normally I have more to say, but here, the food speaks for itself. This spot is fantastic and highly recommend others to try it!

KoKyu - this was interesting! I'd love to know more about how this place came to be. First, there is no indoor seating - sit outside or takeaway. Second, you read the menu and order from your phone, but people are still there to help and serve you. And everyone is nice, helpfully, and genuinely down to earth.

The food was awesome! Thai chop chop was crunchy and full of fresh flavors - cilantro, mint, and the kimchi-lime vinaigrette - pallet cleanser. The Baht Mi hit all the right elements - bread that crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, a little heat, melt in your mouth short rib, pickled veg. to cut thru the fat. The side of kimchi daikon is a great addition to add texture and acid - another pallet cleanser.

The iced horchata had great flavor - I would have preferred a texture that is less grainy from the ice. It was close to slushy texture and that would have been ideal - so would have been a shot of dark rum in the mix 😅. Oh, and you get one free refill on the iced drinks!

Selection of beers on draft are diverse and reasonably priced. $13 for a 55 oz. pitcher of Paulaner Hefe - if someone else was with me, sign me up. There is an even wider variety of cans/bottles - the world is your oyster at this place! Feel like wine, they've got you covered too. NA options - no problem, my friend.

As the Arnold would say, I'll be back.

Their food is awesome as everybody else has noted. But more importantly, their customer service is over the top good. We recently had an order that was below the normal quality that we get from them, and they went above and beyond in rectifying the situation and making sure that we were taken care of. We definitely intend to keep coming back and can’t recommend them enough.

When a little birdie told me how good the sandwiches and Asian fusion at KoKyu was, I was like a duck to water. Little did I know, it was at the top of my partner’s pecking order, too. You know what they say, birds of a feather… Anyways, we had both been pretty chicken about trying new restaurants in the area since the last new place I recommended ended up being a bit of an albatross. I had to eat crow on that one, unfortunately. Well, thankfully, once we got our ducks in a row, we flew the coop to try their takeout since KoKyu was only a few miles away as the crow flies. Despite the impressively long and diverse menu, we had eagle eyes for the Chicken Bacon Franch and the Ko Faux Bahn, respectively. Oh man, first bite, immediate goosebumps. We absolutely gobbled them up, and have gone cold turkey on other local sandwich shops ever since.

If you live in the Durham-Chapel Hill area, you don’t need to go on a wild goose chase to find incredible food. We’ve already taken many friends under our wing and introduced them to this amazing place, and I feel proud as a peacock when they tell us how much it makes them go cuckoo, too. Spread your wings and try KoKyu, I guarantee it’ll give you something to crow about.

I don’t say this lightly, but this is one of the top 3 restaurants in the Triangle! It is disappointed that they no longer have dine-in seating (that should be updated on the Google profile for the place), but even with just outdoor seating or take-out, the food is AMAZING!! I got the pork belly rice bowl and it had a perfect blend of charred, seasoned pork with sweet and slightly spicy sauce. We also got the Brussels sprouts, which legitimately stole the show on their own! Loved their crispy rice coating and rich glaze. The sweet potato fries were also incredible. Oh, and then there’s the Horchata freeze!! Perfect pairing for the slight heat of most dishes.
Will be back many, many times!

Went here for the first time yesterday with some friends for lunch and it was incredibly delicious. The menu is endless. SO MANY OPTIONS. I went with the Korean Beef Short Ribs Banh Mi and it was huge and incredibly filling. The beef was super tender and there was some spice to the sauce. My kids enjoyed their rice bowl and french fries. We had a group of 8 so unfortunately we had to sit in the sun since all of their tables are for 2 or 4 that are under an umbrella. Besides baking in the sun it was a delicious meal and we'll be back.

This place is everything! No it literally is. They are several ghost kitchens in one with an assortment of tacos, banh mis, chicken sandwiches, burgers, and shakes. As of July 2022 they only have outdoor seating but all tables have umbrellas and I’m here for it. Simply scan the QR code on the table, place your order, and they’ll bring your food out to the table.
We split the pork belly banh mi and chicken and peach taco special. The banh mi was huge with top notch quality pork belly and came with a delicious sauce on the side. The tacos were the epitome of summer with smoked chicken complimented by the sweetness of fresh diced peaches and barbecue sauce.
Can’t wait to try one of the other ghost kitchens the next time I’m back in the Triangle area.

This place has surgical consistency. The flavors and ingredients are fresh. Great balance of flavors. Appreciate the eco packing. Worth the cost. I wish there were more restaurants that could build something like this.

This place has some remarkable food that you won't find at other restaurants in the triangle. Truly inventive in the kitchen and the flavor is always seem to go perfectly together. I should have written a review earlier just on these facts alone.

However today I was in my car waiting for my food to be brought out today and when I tried to restart my car the battery was dead. Within 30 seconds one of the employees there came outside and said, "If you have jumper cables I'll pull my car up and you can get a jump." That's exactly what he did and within a minute I was back on the road. He was very kind leaving brought me a glass of water since he figured I might have been a little stressed with the state of my battery. Very cool guy.

Of course none of this is surprising or should be surprising. This is a restaurant that obviously cares about the food they put out and they care about their customers. They are friendly and courteous even when they are slammed busy. Please give this place a try!

Thanks again to Kyoku for the lunch and the jump! See y'all again soon!

Had KoKyu for the first time tonight and I’m HOOKED! I was a little thrown off at first by it being outdoor only, so we decided to do takeout instead. The Togo server came out to our car and treated us as if we were dining in which was cool. He told us about the menu and offered us waters while we picked meals online, all from the comfort of our car. Got home, and immediately devoured the food. We got the Baht Mi sandwiches, which had a ton of flavor, huge portions of meat, and great toppings. When we ordered, we thought it was a bit pricy for sandwiches but when we realized how big they were and how much beef short rib it came with, we 100% felt it was worth every cent. 10/10 would recommend!

5 stars all around! They have super tasty food from basically three different restaurants, the beer selection is decent, and the staff was extremely friendly and fast.

I'll definitely be coming back!
