Brookwood Cafe & Catering

We called the day before Thanksgiving and asked if they could accommodate 15 people from my workplace that same day. They had no problem doing so and also gave us the private room and great service! Their chicken is always SO GOOOOOD!!!!

Brookwoods is always a treat! Despite always having a line it moves quickly! The fried chicken is always on point and priced reasonable, never had anything from here I didn't like!

The best breakfast I have had in a long time!! If you're in the area and looking for the perfect breakfast this is the place! I highly recommend the biscuits!!

A friend from Church recommended Brookwood Cafe to us. I had heard of them, but had never visited. Today was our first of many visits to come! The food was delicious and service was spot on. You have the option of cafeteria line or ordering from the grill. The food was very fresh and tasty. Prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Brookwood Cafe & Catering.

I had a two egg omelet w/ america cheese, sausage, onions, green peppers & tomatoes. It was delicious! 😋 I am definitely coming back! 👍

I've been eating here in Maiden NC for about 6 years and they never disappoint! Great food, very reasonable pricing and the staff is the best!! They cater and also have a meeting/dining room for parties.

The food here is amazing and it is well known among the locals for a reason. We have been here for breakfast a couple times and by far they have the best biscuits around, true cat head biscuits! I've heard they have the best friend chicken, I believe it but haven't tried it yet. whether you're sitting down for a nice meal or grabbing it to go, it comes out fresh hot and fast! the wife had biscuits and gravy and livermush, and had to take a picture of it. I had bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns, little guy had a Mickey mouse pancake. Food is always really good, and service wasn't bad either. She should have come back and checked on us after a few minutes of eating but I'm not mad at it, they had a bunch of people walk in after us.

I had heard about this place for years and finally had the chance to try it out. And there are no words. I have yet to find anything I didn't like. The liver and onions (my favorite) are delicious. Country style steak and gravy is something I could eat everyday. The smothered chicken was amazing! Even the sandwiches, like the hamburgers and hot dogs, are piled high and fantastic! As well, you have to talk about how wonderful the staff is - friendly, helpful and on the ball. If you haven't tried this place, GO NOW! You will be back and back and back!

We were celebrating my 59th reunion from Maiden High School. All had a great time.

Been looking for a cafeteria style restaurant finally found it. Food awesome, biscuits are huge & so good, fried potatoes yummy, fried chicken really good. My daughter said the cabbage very good.

By far the best fried chicken and BBQ. All the sides were just as good. This was my first visit and I've been hearing a lot about it. The owner (Bryan)is very nice. The building is fairly new, extremely clean everywhere. Sanitation grade was very high, at 98. I was pleased and will be back. I will take my employees there when we're in the area, for lunch. Large dining room capacity. They also cater and have a drive through. The prices were very reasonable. Ample parking with wide spaces. Very pleasant staff and atmosphere. Got to give this one a try.
Update: I tried the chicken and dumplings Wednesday, "melt in your mouth good". Now I wake up in the mornings thing about this place.

Huge portion sizes. Western omelet was large with huge chucks of country ham and fresh tomato. We also had the biscuits with gravy which was also delicious. Food came out fast and staff was friendly.

Always great. Chicken is the best.

Wonderful food and service with a smile which is hard to find these days. Their chicken is THE best!!!
