CrawBillys On The Tracks

Y'all won't believe the gem we stumbled upon at CrawBillys in Pelahatchie, Mississippi! This place ain't fancy, tucked away by them train tracks, but let me tell you, it's a real down-home treasure. We rolled in with our whole passel of six kinfolk, sweat pouring in that 102-degree Mississippi heat. But William, or Billy as folks call him, came to our rescue. Showed us spots inside and out where we could dig into some good vittles. Billy's a fine fella, treating the young'uns to snow cones to beat the heat. Now let me get to the grub - that Shrimp Po'Boy, Pistolettes, and Wholey Cow, they danced a jig on our taste buds, but reckon it's that in-house sweet tea that takes the cake. And dessert? Fried Oreos, and hold your horses, a test run of fried Nutter Butters. When the sun set and the last folks moseyed on, Billy and his missus pulled up a chair, spinning tales of their journey over a friendly chat. Mind you, they're cash or check folks, maybe even CashApp, but I'll tell ya, it's worth rustlin' up those greenbacks. CrawBillys ain't just a meal, it's a slice of charm served up by the finest folks around!

Terrific food, friendly service & awesome atmosphere! The fried: shrimp, green tomatoes & jalapeños are all worth trying. The burger will not disappoint.

We are not from around here and happened to find Crawbilly’s on Google. We love to try new things so we got a few appetizers and each our own meal. Everything was absolutely amazing and so flavorful. The fried green tomatoes and onion rings were sliced thin and crispy, cooked to perfection. The shrimp was amazing as well. The owner and staff were so nice and and talked to us as if they had known us forever. Very nice and comfortable country atmosphere as well. A must try!

Let me start with what a great whole in the wall or should I say whole by the train tracks. Yes a train when by. 😊 only one man working he took our order and let us know there was a fire out back. We walked out back to find a nice little fire and some tables under a large tree. He brought out some fried green tomatoes pickles and onion. On the house. Thank you. And then food started to come out. Hamburger great. Cheese sticks nice and hot. Some of the best serves we have ever had. I hope to make it back here some time. Thank you sir.

Oh my goodness!! This place has the BEST food! I'm so glad we stopped! It was great to visit with Billy, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun.

BEST PLACE IN ALL OF MISSISSIPPI! The customer service was beyond fantastic. Came close to closing and they still served me and wanted my business. The food was even better. Best food I had while I was in Mississippi.

Awesome service awesome people great great food

I live in Texas, and drive a truck around the USA. I ordered here because Uber, DoorDash and the other mainstream companies wouldn’t deliver to me. I called CrawBilly’s praying they could deliver to the rest area, they agreed. I wait around 10-15 minutes, no biggie. Well, the owner shows up. Delivered the food himself, we talked for about 5 minutes and he hands me an extra thing of food. Fried okra, onion rings and pork rinds. I ordered a burger, fries and fried pickles and got a lil extra. Even told me if I’m ever back this way and they’re not open, give him a call he’ll bring some food. I thanked him for his generosity and tipped him.
Food was amazing best fried okra and onion rings I’ve ever had. If you’re ever in Mississippi around Morton and Pelahatchie area go check out CrawBilly’s they’ll treat you like family.

So glad we found this place! The shrimp were perfect and the best thing was that my favorite dipping sauce came with it...everywhere else I have to ask for it. They definitely know what they’re doing here. The people are so nice and welcoming. They make sure you’re taken care of. Don’t miss out on this dime! The fam was there last summer and Billy wasn’t open but he was there and felt bad b/c we had been tent camping and the 5 of us must have looked Hangry. so he fired up the grille for us. One of the BEST steaks I’ve ever had! Kids loved the atmosphere and we got our fill. GREAT host and cook. Snow cones after for dessert. Must visit if you’re in the vicinity. EDIT: I just edited my review to clarify that Billy did open up and fire up the grille just for us that afternoon. We got a treat! Thanks again Billy!

We had our first meal (of many meals to come) here last weekend while vacationing in the area. Service was wonderful, everything we ordered tasted amazing, and the feel of the restaurant was so relaxing. We enjoyed our dinner at the back deck and I felt right at home almost instantly. We will most certainly be back every time we're in the area!

As always great food with good flavor! Had crawfish and fixings, everything was nice and spicy. Husband had his usual the Wholly cow with onion rings, he liked it but noticed that the meat has changed to a leaner beef which changed the consistency of the meat. Son had the kids chicken combo, haven't seen him eat that much in awhile, so happy!

This place is the real deal. If you want to experience some real Mississippi hospitality and culture and some great food, check this place out. We sat out on the deck and had the crawfish pisoletts, fried green tomatoes and shrimp po boys...all delisous. Kick back with some blues music and enjoy! Billy and his wife are so friendly and welcoming. You'll feel blessed to have stopped by.

This was the best restaurant we have ever been to!! We had crawfish pistolettes, I had boiled shrimp which was AMAZING, Dustin got a burger and the sweet lady working brought us onion rings because their card machine was down. Which was so sweet of her!! The owner ended up sitting with us talking and made us fried green tomatoes just because and then made me fried Oreos whenever we told him we were on a little getaway for my birthday. He even played happy birthday for me on his Crawbilly saw!! We are so stuffed we can barely walk! But the food was literally amazing!! Everything was seasoned perfect and had the best flavor! Thank you Billy for the best birthday dinner ever!
