Wonderful to experience a restaurant with such high quality soup and sandwiches. The decor is simple and clean, with lovely touches on the walls. I had the tomato bisque and I will come back just for that, it was so good. The chicken salad with grapes and water chestnuts on toasted wheat was hearty and flavorful. Our server was efficient and very nice. Shame on me for not getting her name. This sure shines as a "mom and pop" establishment. Two bitty fudgy brownie bites were complimentary and worth breaking my healthy eating plan for!

Food is exceptional, waitress was a bit off putting but maybe she was having a bad day. Highly recommend this place. I promise you'll come back for more!!!

This place is a hidden gem in Carthage, NC. The food always tastes delicious and the portions are just right. The workers are super friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Such great food and friendly staff. My daughter started feeling bad when we were there (nothing to do with the food) and they were so attentive.

Best club sandwich I've had in awhile! We stopped here (group of 4) while waiting for an appointment in the area, the soup is excellent and the salads are fresh too. Staff is extremely friendly and it feels like you're visiting family. Cozy seating area and clean, definitely a gem we're glad we found.

What a nice little find. We rarely head up to Carthage but we were passing through on the way to Seagrove and decided to pop in. So glad we did. The soup and sandwiches are a nice portion and delicious. This place is enough for me to drive up to Carthage! Staff was very friendly!

I've been searching for a place like this since I left Maine. The food is excellent and fresh and homemade. The owners define Southern hospitality. I love everything about this place, from the location to the food to the people who work here. Don't miss out on this gem. If you're looking for food that tastes good and leaves you feeling warm and happy inside, this is the place. Make sure you try one of the soups - I've yet to be disappointed.

Friendly folks, quick service, excellent soups and wonderful sandwiches. Can't say enough about how much my friend and I enjoyed our lunch.

The soup was AMAZING!!! I had the roasted red pepper and gouda soup and a turkey club and it was delicious. We ordered carry out and the little details like the grape garnish with the sandwich and the cookie just made lunch seem special. I will be back.

The location was great, the service and food were top notch! Especially the homemade cheddar and broccoli soup, however, I am sure whatever I ordered would have been top notch as well!! We even got to sample some desserts! They were the perfect ending to a wonderful lunch experience!

A hidden gem! If you're close, you need to stop by. Amazing staff and food! We stumbled across this place taking the scenic route from Charlotte to Raleigh, so glad we saw the side of the building!

We have been meaning to go to The Soup company for a while now. Finally all the stars aligned and we were able to make it out there before they closed at 4 p.m. Their reputation is well-deserved. The food was outstanding the service impeccable and the conversation with the owner was entertaining and enlightening.
We go out a lot so they will now be on our go to list of regulars.

Oh, so tasty! Soup options change daily but haven't had a bad one yet. The salads and sandwiches are delightful as well.

I almost don't even want to tell you people about this place so that there will always be a table for me. It is on a side road and a hidden secret. The food is always amazing and the family that owns it is very courteous. Hospitality still exist in this restraunt and that's pretty rare these days.

This was the first time we ate at The Soup Company. Not only was the soup very good, but the owners were gracious & helpful. Oh & the desert was to DIE for! Definitely going back!
