Laurinburg-Maxton Airport

Laurinburg- Maxton Airport is filled with history, especially it's WW2 history training glider pilots and troopers. You can feel the spirits on a calm day. It is also a very friendly FBO open to the public and worth the trip. Sherman, one of the staff members, could not have been friendlier or more gracious. Absolutely worth flying in or even driving to for a visit.

Had a great visit. The line guy asked what services I needed on the radio and Albert came out to greet me at the plane and brought me some water.

Love that is airport is investing in customer service and a friendly environment.

Great cross-country stop! We were met at the self-service fuel station with bottles of water and ice cream sandwiches. What a friendly welcome. Fuel prices are competitive, but the service is top-notch.

Stopped here on the way down to Florida. Albert was absolutely amazing! He treated us like family and made sure my dog had water and treats. He helped us find a hotel, took us there, suggested places to eat and picked us up the next morning. Our flight got delayed so he made my family hotdogs for lunch. Albert went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The FBO is clean and welcoming. We would definitely stop here again if in the area.

I landed at Laurinburg Maxton this past Sunday and was impressed by the FBO and the friendliness of the staff. As soon as I parked my aircraft,
I was greeted by a young lady (Sierra) on a golf cart. She welcomed me to the airport and asked if I needed fuel or anything else. She even offered to give me a ride to the FBO.

On the fun side, there are several old airliners parked around the airport.

My wife and I landed twice (coming and going) on our trip to New Jersey. Both times Albert Lee met us at the airplane with the golf cart and a bottle of water. This was even after we pulled up to the self-serve fueling station. Albert was very accomodating and couldn't do enough for us and the two pups. This FBO provided a welcome respite from the hot, July heat. It has very clean restrooms and the airport is very well maintained. Highly recommend stopping here if you are going cross-country!

Staff contacted me promptly to make arrangements for my brief stay in town. They were polite, responsive, and flexible in helping me arrange ground transportation during my stay. Shout out to Albert for his help in particular. Highly recommend.

We had a layover for an hour. It was clean and welcoming. We were traveling with young children and the snacks and drinks were a welcome treat. Highly recommend

Nice big runway. Absolute mind trip seeing those retired big birds just sitting around. The service at the airport is good. Very easy airport to come into. Zero stress on arrival and departure.
