Ironwood Cafe

The food was amazing, steak you could cut through like butter and every bite just as flavorful as the first. Our server was great I think his name was James, a young guy. We had outdoor seating and it was so private and relaxing. We will definitely be going back and if you haven't been make your next dinner reservations here!

We went for a Christmas dinner with friends, it was really nice and there were no complaints, plenty of parking and it was easy to find. Bathrooms were clean, and so was the restaurant. Staff was quick and polite. The southern egg rolls are to die for. You definitely have to try those. I recommend this place for dinner.

We made last minute reservations here after a recommendation from Tom Stewart and definitely didn’t regret it. I have had steak from places all over the country and I would put this at the top! Gabby was our waitress and did an awesome job. We visit Pinehurst area quite a bit and this will be a regular stop for us.

What a nice place and wonderful food/service. Our large party sat outside in the covered patio with plenty of heaters and great service. Our server Courtney was spot on with the entire group from start to finish. Be sure to ask for her! With the "steps of service" declining in so many places, it was great to have Courtney take care of every detail. The menu is diverse with protein options, starter salads were large, and our GF person was ecstatic of the number of GF option. Their garden was just off the patios, so I would think during the growing season, at least some their weekly specials would be from the garden. The inside was full and had a vibrant energy. The sound inside was low which is a nice change after restaurants feeling the need to be loud to seem entertaining. I think the layout/design including high ceilings help to reduce the volume. If I ever get back in the warmer weather, I would be sure to enjoy their large patio.

Wonderful place to go for a nice lunch or dinner. Always clean and well kept. Food is nicely presented and fresh. Salmon tacos are the best!

Casey was fantastic! Some of the best service I've had; they were informative and always on top of things. The food was also spectacular. Highly recommend the calamari and my mother absolutely loved her lobster. Such a special night. The best restaurant around!

Amazing meal and service at Ironwood Cafe! The food and presentation were spot on and the service was impeccable. We had planned on eating somewhere else and decided to switch last minute. Wise decision! If I lived in the area I’m fairly certain we would eat here seven days a week. Thank you Ironwood Cafe. Don’t miss a walk through the garden - before or after your meal.

My husband and I booked a reservation for (9-10 people) at Ironwood for our wedding rehearsal dinner on 2-24-2023. The staff, food, drinks, and surprise champagne toast/dessert were wonderful. It was the first time some of the family members got to meet, and it was a lovely venue to do it at. Our waitress was so sweet and took pictures for us. I cannot wait to come back here for date night with my husband! 10/10 across the board!

Favorites of the night: Lemon Drop Martini, 84’ Prosecco, the braised beef Gnocchi, the Bone Marrow app, Crispy Duck, and the t-bone special!! DELISH!

Delicious brunch. I had hoped to try the salmon benne, but they were out of salmon when we got there. I had the chicken and waffles instead and it was a winner for me. The summer sangria was very good. Short wait for outside seating around 1pm on Sunday. Our waitress was perfect! Right next to a nursery filled with beautiful flowers and herbs. I'll be back to try the salmon benne. Highly recommend this place.

We were there for our anniversary and I am absolutely in love with this place. We did drive for an hour to come to it, but it was worth of drive. The place, service, food... it was excellent. I have traveled the world and I know good service. Our waiter was great too. The meat was the best I had in a while. Once you choose this place, you won't regret it at all. I can't wait to go back.

Wonderful palette experience! The staff made our wedding party as well as othe guest warmly welcome. A gastronomic experience that rivals most fine dining avenues! Well worth a visit!

Amazing!!!! We went here for our Wedding Anniversary and could not be more pleased. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating. We will be returning.

Went here for a small reception after my sister's wedding. We sat outside, and even though it was a hot July day it was pleasant in the shade and with all the fans they had going. Our service was excellent, food came out fast considering we had a large party. I ordered the fried green tomato Cobb salad with salmon. The salmon was nicely cooked and all the vegetables were very fresh. Fried green tomatoes were great, and it was a very filling salad. Everyone else that I spoke with also enjoyed their food. I don't live in the area but would return if I did! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area or visiting.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent especially for a party of 8.

Our table ordered a couple appetizers: chef’s tasting board: offerings of charcuterie/artisan cheeses/other tasty treats and sashimi tuna: sesame crusted ahi tuna seared rare/orange-soy soba noodle salad/wasabi drizzle. Highly recommend both!

I ordered the 6 oz filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus.

We had a bourbon tasting here for our wedding week with friends and it was BEAUTIFUL!! We had an amazing time and the chef even made some special vegetarian options since we had so many veggie folks!! We’ve been here for dinner many times before and the service is always amazing, but this night was truly special. THANK YOU to the staff and especially to Jourdan Book who helped us put it all together with the vendor!!

Visited at Early Bird hour, and it was wonderful! The service was very quick, the staff was friendly and conversated with us well, and it was very clean in the restaurant.

For starters, they brought out a nice bread basket with pesto olive oil. The bread was warm and soft, and the sweetness of the bread paired well with the savory olive oil.

Then, I got a caesar salad. There wasn't too much or too little dressing, and the bread on top was perfect for the salad!

Finally, I got a burger, and I mean it when I say it was perfect! The brioche buns were soft and tasted wonderful, and it was perfect with the sauces, and toppings. The burger was very juicy, and held up well.

Overall, this is one of the best restaurants I have been to in my 10+ years in North Carolina, and the amazing staff and food, I will definitely come back!

Food and service was great! We had Emily as our server and she was very attentive! Food was delicious and we had a great time. Perfect place for brunch and a nice place to go to dinner for a night out or a date!

Shared a quiet and delicious meal here with a couple of friends. Though we made reservations, there’s a good chance you will get a table if you arrive early. The ambiance of the place was very soothing and serene.
