New Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant

It’s hard to rate this as the restaurant is open but only call in and pick up. Still working under Covid precautions, you don’t really get the interaction with the staff. I spoke to the owner and she said it’s hard to find anyone to work. The people hired don’t work long, so the restaurant can’t open. Over all in the area, the food is great and with the time to call in and pick up. I have the restaurant half stars for the way they don’t socialize with their guests, I can totally understand the not enough staff to run the business. But without the friendly service I feel it suffers.

Really good. I had to get it to go because of Covid, but it was hot and delicious.

A good place to eat as long as they keep food in the pans. Not empty and fresh. I hate it when these places let the food pans set empty or sit there for hours. The price is fair. The employees are friendly. I've eaten there a few times and enjoy it most of the time. There have been a couple bad days.

The food is great but you had to ring a bell Two order to order or call in an order. I wish I had the menu I forgot. I I had beef low Maine

I love this place....It is like country cooking, but Chinese style. Fresh ingredients and piping hot food you cannot get in this area elsewhere. Nice people serve you. The cook is always looking over food for quality

They are always friendly and pretty fast. Food is always hot. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive.

This happy garden may be small but they have cuisine that the other buffets I've been to do not have. I will be coming back to try new plates.

Excellent Tso chicken, shrimp fried rice and shrimp Lo Mein.
Wish they would open the dinning room, still excellent though.

Very tasty food and they customize the food the way you want it, especially for vegetarians which is the best part. Loved it.

By far the best Chinese food in Western NC!! The sesame chicken is very good and the crab meat cream cheese is fantastic.Get some.
