DERAILED of Bryson City (Anthonys)

What a lovely surprise this restaurant was for our first time in Bryson City. We hiked in Big Creek and a hiking friend recommended Anthonys for lunch after…the pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had. (And my husband said his gluten-free pizza was the best he’d ever eaten, and with gluten-free, that’s not easy achieve!)
We were promptly seated and service was spot on. Clean facility, attentive and friendly staff, great mountain vibe… everything was perfect.

Anthony's is a well known restaurant and pizzeria in Bryson City.
Great location next to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
It gets rather busy when people get back from their train excursion.
Since many patrons are on foot, the small parking area is adequate.
A ramp is provided for handicap access ♿ .
We found the staff to be welcoming and friendly throughout our visit.
The food came hot and the wait was not long.
We had the garden salad first. Fresh and crisp.
The pizza was the size of a wagon wheel. The calzon equally huge.
These portions can easily be shared.
What can you say about a pizza. It was tasty, the toppings fresh.
The decor of the place is functional, nothing to write about.
But again, the waitresses were genuinely friendly and attentive.
The bill for three was a little over 50 bucks plus a tip.

Decent stop for lunch or dinner.
Convenient and well located.

Great experience on the edge of town with a wonderful view of the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad station. The restaurant and the bar have two separate entrances. The bar has the full menu available. Both have covered outdoor seating with the bar having some high top bar areas to stand or sit at as chairs become available. The burgers are cooked to order but came out very quickly. They have several signature burgers available or I imagine you can order just a plain burger. There were only two people tending the bar but they covered the area very efficiently.

LOVE IT!! Such a good vibe and such good service. We were a party of 6, outside with our 2 dogs, and we were instantly seated and had our drink orders taken immediately after getting settled. The food is delicious, a little bit of a wait, but honestly soooo worth it! We got 2 beef patties for our dogs, these were surprisingly very big patties. Will definitely be coming back here on our next visit!

We are from Mobile, AL and visiting Bryson area for Christmas. We stopped into Derailed Anthony’s for lunch and it was amazing. Roy took very good care of us and the Strombolis were amazing!!!! Plenty left for dinner. Great food, service and front row seat to the GSMR train. Definitely recommend!!

The food here is great we got burgers and pizza and all of it was amazing! The service was good and our waitress was really helpful and friendly. Only down side is the small parking lot but there is plenty of parking on the street. Overall would definitely come back!

The spinach dip was delicious. We had a BYO pizza with sliced tomatoes, onions, mushrooms ans ricotta… it was beyond amazing! Must eat here if you’re in town

What an amazing experience!! I placed a to go order and Buck was so helpful and kind!! He was even friendlier in person when we picked up our order. We had The Meaty pizza and The Hawaiian pizza. Both were delicious and fresh. We will be eating at Anthony’s many more times!!

Great food, generous portions, and welcoming atmosphere. We started with a delicious appetizer that had a variety of items- fried mushrooms, ravioli, onion pedals, poppers, and garlic knots. Our entrees were BYO Burger and Grilled Chicken sandwich with the best crispy fries. I definitely recommend this fabulous restaurant.

After a long day of driving and hiking I arrived in Bryson City craving pizza and found Anthony's. I ordered takeaway from the pickup window, so I did not experience the dining experience, but everyone I did interact with was friendly and helpful. The pizza was finished in the expected amount of time and it was delicious. Will definitely be going back next time I'm in the area.

Fast service. Good vibes. Ordered wings and they were doused in delicious sauce. (mild bbq). Large portion size of ranch and blue cheese cups (extremely rare of restaurants to do) Delicious beer. Huge burger.

Stop by here yesterday after a hike for lunch. The zucchini fries were amazing! Had the brisket sandwich and it tasted so good! The service was quick and prompt very friendly staff and they had signs letting you know the expectations but of course they exceeded those. The restaurant is very friendly and family cozy and clean. I would highly recommend stopping here for lunch or grabbing a bite to eat whatever this place is a must see one in Bryson city.

Been going here for like 10 years now. Just getting around to a review I believe they deserve so much. By far the best burgers in WNC. Their Swiss Mushroom burger is not going to be consumed in one sitting. And their brown Ale is awesome. To me its more like a Scotch Ale. The food the service and outside seating are awesome.

What a great place to get an awesome pizza! We also got the avocado bites and they were a areal treat. Friendly staff and great tunes playing, this was a wonderful place to eat!

Fun stop. The food was good, portions were excellent, kid friendly, pet friendly. Got to watch the main street traffic and the locomotive roll in...pretty cool.

Awesome restaurant. Great food and service. Very dog friendly. Pup menu includes beef burger patty or chicken.
