Living in the state of South Carolina is hard to find a bookstore, let alone one that is nearby (the closest one to me is in Florence about 45 minutes to an hour out). But on Instagram I saw that there is this bookstore warehouse outlet that is open for a weekend once a month. So me and my husband made a day trip of it and traveled 3+ hours to Easley, South Carolina to this warehouse outlet. Man-oh-man, it didn’t disappoint!! There are rows upon rows of books according to genres, kid books, kid toys and puzzles, encyclopedias, cooking books, books in other languages, name it they have it. Overall I walked out of there with a box full of books and paid $125.00 which could have easily been $400-$500 regular price on Amazon. They give you the option at checkout to pay cash or card which is cool. I would totally recommend this place. First thought came to mind is its good for like teachers buying books for students.

Are you looking for bargain books? Are you looking to discounted books? Look no further! If you are a browser, have time, and don't mind a little disorganization or minor chaos, go check out the biggest book warehouse in Easely, SC! There's thousands of books of all genres and for all age groups! And the best part is they are all 70% off! If you are a teacher, you get an extra 5% off! Let me be clear, every book is 70% off the original price! Here's my tips for an amazing experience:

1. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing! The warehouse is huge so you will do some walking. Wear layered clothing during the fall or winter so you can take it off as needed. I went in December so I wore a jacket.

2. Go with someone who will not mind browsing because, like I had mentioned, there's thousands of books. The books are organized into sections like fantasy, fiction, religion, etc. However, there's a huge collection of books that are in big boxes/ bins. You will have to be patient to look for what you want. Don't go with an impatient person who is going to rush you!

3. Take a tote bag if you only have the intention of getting just a few books. I took a cart because I already knew I was going to go crazy and get a lot of books! Trust me, it is so much better to have a cart to pull around than tiring your arms and shoulders out toting around a bag! They do have carts there, but it's a first come first serve basis.

4. Take snacks or drinks with you if you have the intention of spending hours there.

5. Check their Facebook for dates! As far as I know, they only open one weekend a month!

6. They take several forms of payment.

I find something new here every time we go. It’s definitely became very popular so get there early if you want to beat the crowds. Also bring your own beach cart, or something similar to it so you don’t have to tote your books and other things in your arms.
Even though they’ve cut them and I understand why make sure you stop and take a look at how cool the magnolia trees are out front. I think it would be a great idea especially for young kids to make a little tree house or a spot to set and color or read. I’ve never seen magnolias grow like them and they are absolutely massive.

You can spend as much or as little time here as you feel like, perusing stocked shelves and boxes. Books are not always organized consistently, but that doesn't mean you won't find an interesting selection! Come with an open mind and a bag or cart. The best part is the price!!

This weekend was my first time visiting the Book Warehouse Outlet!!! I was totally overwhelmed!! There were so many books to choose from: toddlers, children, teens, and adults!!! There are puzzles, journals, and children games. They have different subjects to choose from: casual reading (novels), history, instructional, and academic. You will not be disappointed!!

Went today for the first time. They had a huge sale and we left with a Walmart grocery cart of books for a great price

If your a home school parent, visit this bookstore! You will form an addiction though so beware

Do not visit them unless you love books and hunting for great deals. Do not visit unless you have like an entire day to look around. We shopped for 3.5 hours and had to skim most of the isles and skipped about a third of the inventory because the selection is so large. There are thousands of books and the selection is seriously humongous. It’s beautiful but also be ware, it’s not exactly organized so you just have to look.

I had a blast and I’m plan to visit again

The size of this place is a little overwhelming. I wasn't lucky enough to get a cart when I arrived, but now I know that it's a good idea to bring something with wheels instead of relying on carrying a bag. I bought three tote bags of books, puzzles, etc!! There really is something for everyone and the staff/owner are all really nice.

Keep in mind, they may not have your favorite author BUT this is a great time to pick up some new authors and give them a try.

I will definitely be back!!

I loved this place. There's so many books to choose from! We went on saturday, and the only downside is that there were A LOT of people, and some of the aisles are not that big. I would definitely recommend going at least once!

Book Warehouse Outlet in Easley had an open to the public sale this weekend. It was huge, overwhelming, wonderful, and the absolute best time. Books, comic books, games, puzzles, journals, and so much more.

If you go plan to be ready. Show up when they open. Bring a wagon (we each had 2 bags and it was NOT enough). The line will be long to pay. If you have cash it is faster but they are working pretty quickly... it's just a lot of people.

We will absolutely be back for the next sale! The owner and everyone working was smiling, helpful, and wonderful.

All I can say is WOW! This is one place bibliophiles and book lovers do NOT want to miss out on. BWO is a 300,000+ square foot warehouse stacked floor to ceiling with (quite literally) hundreds of thousands of brand new books, comics, gifts, and trinkets. **It is NOT open to the public daily.** They only open to the public for a weekend at a time, usually towards the end of every month, so check their Facebook page out for more info. All of the books are in brand new, unread, perfect condition and at the time of writing, everything was 70% off MSRP.

According to my research these books are all overstock/overprints from major publishers. It's inside of an old textile factory, and don't let the dilapidated exterior fool you. This place is massive, not all of it is available to explore though. Some areas are roped off, but there is no shortage of shelves, pallets and boxes to rifle through. You will find your best luck digging through as many piles as you can. There is very little organization, so you might find some genres together, but they could also be intermingled with totally unrelated books. There is a good sense of neatness and order here though, comic books and small gifts are in their own sections for example.

My suggestions for a stress-free experience: bring reusable grocery/tote bags or a rolling cart, because trust me... as soon as you pick up one book, 10 more will appear. If you can pay with cash, it will lead to a quicker checkout. Overall: be patient. This place gets very very busy and there are a lot of people here by midday, even on the last day of the sales. The people working here were super friendly and professional. There was one gentleman working in the middle/back section that went out of his way to greet and help every single person he saw, and struck up genuine conversation with all of them. The people at the checkout are soooo kind as well.

10/10, we will be back!

This place was crazy during a big book sale they had. I've never seen so many books in my life or people buying them lol. I enjoyed looking around and their selection of any subject you can think of is fantastic.

I look forward to each weekend the Book Warehouse Outlet opens. It's the highlight of my month. Make sure to bring reusable bags, a cart, or a box. The books are not generally sorted by genre, but it's all the more fun to sift through everything to find new reads. There's something for everyone: lots of kids reads and picture books, puzzles, anime, comics, and all works of fiction and nonfiction. There's usually a grass lot to park in. They take both cash & card. Staff is wonderful as well.

WOW! If you love books , this is enormous! Biggest book sale ever! 70% off retail. Only bad thing is books are separated by category but to hem there is no order. It's just a look at every title til you find what you like. Huge lines to pay but line moves extremely fast so not as bad as it looks.

If you are a book lover this place is a must visit when they open up for one of their weekend sales! Keep in mind that it is a working warehouse, think of it as a treasure hunt, bring a tote bag or cart to fill, comfortable shoes and a water bottle.

The layout was amazing, and the staff was knowledgeable. I got books for 100$, which would have cost over 300$ if I had purchased them elsewhere. The staff was helpful anytime someone had a question, too.
