The Roast Office

If you’re in Pinehurst for a visit, this quaint coffee shop is a must visit on any tourists list. Their seasonal coffee menu begs you to experience something fun + different. The classics are good too, but the team takes pride in creating new + fun coffees.

Coffee itself isn’t too acidic if you get the medium roast. The team members are friendly, and the atmosphere is great. This place once was an old post office, and now it’s a bookshop + coffee spot.

Unique and inviting. This joint coffee shop and book store is reminiscent of having a library in your living room. It’s cozy, good selections and love the historical flare. Great for coffee and book lovers!

First off, the name is Adorable! The staff were friendly and loved the tea there. I didn’t purchase anything to eat there, so I rated my beverages for that part of the review. Also loved the beautiful area it’s located in and the bookstore connected to it. Highly recommend!

Up front: always great coffee, simple egg sandwich is delicious (must have bacon!), extremely nice staff, great environment.

Simply the best coffee shop anywhere. It's a must stop every time we come to Pinehurst. Love the coffee, the friendly staff, and hanging out in the bookstore.

Pinehurst treasure! Always great to see Carol and the team, and they are always so friendly and helpful. Coffee and food area great - just enough menu items to keep you interested. Always prepared by hand. Love it here.

The coffee was superb 👌 👏 I just moved here from Ohio and I was missing my winans and this place did NOT disappoint. I think I found my new coffee spot! Also the area surrounding it looks like the set of a Hallmark film 🥰

We love to take visiting family and friends to the Roast Office. We love downtown Pinehurst and all that it has to offer. We love the atmosphere, food, and especially the coffee.

Very interesting coffee shop. Neat combination of all things old library,, good, and delicious coffee . Nestled in historic area. Worth a visit !

Staff is always welcoming and inviting! Do yourself a favor and get “The Q”. It’s an amazing post workout or long day pick me up.

Great staff working there. The bagels are very good. And their cinnamon latte is excellent.

We love to stop here while walking around Pinehurst. They have the best service and friendliest staff. Even when the line is long it goes very fast and you do not have to wait long for your order to be ready. The lattes are very well made and tasty.

Super amazing coffee shop had a dirty hippie which is two shots of espresso and chai and it was seriously incredible. Our family got smoothies and pastries they were all amazing...

What a cool coffee shop, delicious coffee too! The coffee shop shares a building with a 2nd-hand bookstore, in an old post office building. Beautiful building in the heart of Pinehurst. Definitely with stopping in and seeing if you are in town.
