This is the closest pharmacy to the Pinehurst Resort, less than a mile away. I used my Teladoc app and then had this pharmacy fill the prescription. Store was beautiful, clean and well-stocked. Grabbed snacks while in there. Pharmacy had several people working, both folks I spoke to were very friendly and I was promptly served and out the door. Great experience. Also this store is located in a shopping center with other stores. .

Picked up a Rx today and the young man helping the customers did a fantastic job. He was very knowledgeable and engaging with the customers. I told him that he was doing a fantastic job. That put a smile on his face and said he appreciated it. Imagine someone sending a positive message to you. 🙂

I think this store used to be a Rite Aid because it is one of the nicer Walgreens in the area. As soon as you walk in it’s so neat and clean and the pharmacy staff was super nice at helping me, they all looked busy but I guess in a city like Pinehurst that’s to be expected, but my order was filled fairly quickly

Adriana was very helpful and went beyond her primary responsibilities to find savings on my very expensive medication. Thank you so much Walgreens for staffing responsibly!

I just wanted to say thanks to the store mgr for taking back more than several items that I am very allergic too. I did not use these nor did I have a receipt. I got a store credit and I appreciate it. I am having severe allergies and I mean severe. I can’t use these sanitizer smelly stuff. I hope the CVS store takes back stuff I got there as it’s unused too. On disability so every penny matters. Too the cashier lady was so nice and sympathetic. I was embarrassed to ask but I had to try and get my money back even if it is a gift card. Thanks again and I will definitely start doing business there.

Honestly the most ridiculous pharmacy experience I’ve ever been through. Every time that I go, it takes no less than half an hour (usually more) for me to pick up my prescription that’s ready. There’s probably 6 pharmacy techs back there and only one poor person who has to run back and forth between the regular registers and the drive through. And good luck if you have any questions about your prescriptions, no one will be available to answer. I’m sitting in line now as I write this, and I will be transferring my prescription to a local pharmacy instead. This place has absolutely rocketed towards the ground since Walgreens took over.

My wife went into Walgreens today to pick up a few items. When she was checking out the bill total was $16.36. She started to hand the cashier a $20.00 bill and stated to hold up that she would give her the $.36 so she could get $4.00 back. The cashier took the money but only gave my wife $3.64 back. My wife explained that she gave her the change but the cashier said "no ma'am, you were suppose to get $3.64 back." I explained that she had been given $20.36 and if you subtract $16.36 from that it equals $4.00. The young lady looked confused so I suggested she contact the manager on duty. When the manager came up front the cashier told her that she had entered the wrong amount for the purchase. After explaining the amount given to the cashier for the purchase the manager gave my wife four one dollar bills one at a time by jerking them like they were sticking together. Neither apologized to my wife. I kind of felt sorry for the cashier because she seems to be a victim of the new math being taught. However, I expected better from the manager on duty who was very rude in the way she gave my wife her money back and who should have set a better example for her employees by apologizing to the customer for the errror.

Terrible pharmacy experience. If you have Tricare (primary or secondary), just find someplace else. They hate running Tricare (which all Tricare beneficiaries know is challenging, but we don't make the rules), so they refuse to run it till you show up -- if they've even filled the script. And when you do show, the techs will huff and roll their eyes when they ask if you have Tricare. We've gotten the wrong number of meds dispensed, waited days for common prescription meds (not in a shortage) to come in, and deal with dismissive and/or rude techs. Services range from lazy to downright dangerous. And while I'm aware of the area age demographic, don't expect them to stock any children's medications. I grew up using Walgreens in the Illinois area, and this place is an embarrassment to the Walgreens name.

Drive to Raleigh, Sanford, Aberdeen, anywhere but here. The most basic prescriptions get screwed up and take ridiculously long to get filled. I’m on my sixth phone call to them today and have been put on hold for 9-10 minutes at a time. Getting a prescription from here is like picking up a part-time job.

The worst experience ever! Couldn’t get the insurance right if their lives depended on it. I won’t go back because bottom line you can’t fix their stupid.

Worst customer service ever. I placed a photo order for same day pickup. Show up the next day and it's not only not ready...they can't even find the order in the system. Acted like it was my fault (maybe I never placed the order, maybe someone else picked it up, maybe it's under another phone number, maybe this or that) and never apologized or even acted like they cared at all. Meanwhile I have the email confirmation in hand. One of them was chewing food while talking to me.

I’ve seriously been trying for days to get through on the phone for assistance and wait on hold for hours until giving up. I even went to the store one evening and waited in line for a while until the clerk announced that their systems were down and to come back another day! Crazy! Out of necessity I went online to see if I could create an account and refill my rx that has been called in by Dr by self to prompt the system to fill. Sure enough it worked! So, pro tip, if you can’t get ahold of anyone for assistance, I highly recommend creating a Walgreens account. You’ll see all your prescriptions that have been called in there to fill. Hope this post helps someone as that is my sole intention.

NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD SO MANY OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS TOILED WITH in my life! The people that work in the pharmacy here are a bunch of liars, repeatedly told me that my doctor's office didn't call in prescriptions. I was at my doctor's office today and looked at the computer screen myself showing the NUMEROUS different times the staff called in my prescriptions! I was about to go to a new Dr because of this! It's one thing if you're a server in a restaurant that forgot to give somebody a side of ketchup. It's a HUMONGOUS ISSUE when you're a PHARMACY TECH THAT SCREWS UP PEOPLE'S MEDICATION!!!! BECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLE I WAS SEEING SPOTS for WEEKS without my regular prescriptions and my body/ meds were OFF!!! AVOID THIS PHARMACY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH/ WELL BEING!!!

I’m not sure why they even have a phone because they never ever answer it. The pharmacist acts like he can’t be bothered. They can’t seem to keep enough pharmacy technicians but you can’t blame them for leaving. Maybe we need to contact the corporate office and let them know how terrible the pharmacy is.

The pharmacy is absolutely worthless. Constantly screwing up our prescriptions, always out of stock and when you speak to a pharmacist to try and figure it all out they act like you are wasting their time. Once again, worthless pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy on the face of the planet. No joke. I have never seen such incompetence in my life. Employees are clueless,, useless, and other things I can’t say on Google! I have countless stories, I wouldn’t know where to start! They fail in every. Single. Area. So bad it’s mind blowing, really. Corporate? Hello? We’ve got a reject here!

I’ve had a few experiences here that were decent. But today, when I went through the drive thru the older lady who was working it was so rude and disrespectful. She quickly dismissed us and didn’t even let us finish speaking before she said to come back in an hour. Then we tried to tell her to try a different last name and she was again extremely rude and hung up the phone. She has zero people skills and shouldn’t work here. If it wasn’t the only pharmacy close to home open because of the holidays I wouldn’t have come back.
