AWESOMEEE!! best fries I have ever had at any restaurant. Fresh, crispy, seasoned. The hamburger was delicious as well. Everyone here was super nice and attentive. Will definitely be coming back for future lunches!

Awesome food. I love the hand cut fries and onion rings. It takes awhile to get through the drive thru but that's because everything is home made. Employees were super nice.

Food is really good. I don't go here a lot because it takes some time to get my food but it is worth the wait if you can wait an extra 10-15 minutes after order. Everything is cooked for order and has fresh good ingredients.

I love this place. Always friendly staff, good hot dogs (with chili of course) burgers are pretty solid too. They have malt vinegar for their awesome fresh cut fries, which is a huge plus in my book. Fresh pork skins and ice cream, although I probably wouldn't mix the two. Super sweet tea and Styrofoam cups round out the top qualities of a true southern burger spot. Highly recommended for tourists and locals, if Zebulon is your destination, or you're just passing through, do yourself a favor and drop by.

Hillbillies is a great little mom and pop hot dog joint. Great service, but can be a little bit slow. Good quality hot dogs and cheese steak sandwich. French fries are ok (but I can do without) and I always have to get their chocolate milkshake.

I eat here often. Burgers and fresh cut fries are great. My friends love the hotdogs and other sandwiches. Minimal indoor seating so if you have a bunch of people you may want to take your order to go or sit outside.

It's a family favorite!! We will literally drive from Raleigh just to get their hot dog meal, ice cream and pork skins! The food is always fresh and we are always served with a smile! Oh yea with such an amazing sanitation score usually 99-100 would pass on eating there! Great JOB!

I loved this place. Have been eating here on and off since I was a teen with a brand new license 8 years ago. Was even more excited when I got a job I love in Zebulon, and I made it part of my payday routine to drop my check at the bank and go to hillbillies across the street.

Unfortunately after checking their Facebook after seeing the giant "CLOSED" banner on the front of the restaurant for a few days, it looks like it's permanent and the owners didn't sell the rights - so its going to end up as something different unfortunately.

Thank you guys for being the only burger joint I could enthusiastically say "Yes!" too whenever you asked me if I wanted my burger all the way - you had wonderful, delicious food. I feel comfortable in saying that at the very least, Wake County will miss you. I'll have to check out their other restaurant in Zebulon, mcleans ole time cafe at some point, I'm holding out hope I'll still be able to get a great burger there!

1st visit & was totally pleased
. Hot dogs were very good & love their chilly . The onion rings were delicious ! This place is very small & I can imagine it being packed during lunch times but they do have a drive thru . I plan to definitely be back to try some of the other things from the menu .

We stop here annually on our way back from home from vacationing at the beach. It's like a family tradition. We do not live close enough to make this visit more frequently, and to be honest, I am really thankful for that. The burgers are really good and I really like good burgers. I would be a few pounds heavier.... easily.... We've been at least the last four years and the family always looks forward to dropping by on the final leg of our voyage home.

This is a home town favorite. Don't expect it to be a fancy franchise. You can expect it to be clean and orderly with nice folks and great quality, fresh cooked food. Give yourself a minute to sit when you come, because they take time to freshly cook your food. It's totally worth the wait! They also just introduced a Philly cheesesteak which is so so good! I've been going here for a few years when I pass through. Never been disappointed. Besides the cheesesteak, my favorite is the hot dog and cheeseburger combo with cheese fries. Oh! They have fresh pork rinds too! Definitely the best I've had around! It's not store brand so you can best believe you are getting the real deal. I've seen 1 yr olds go crazy wanting more to gnaw on, all the way to older seniors loving it and buying it by the bag. Great quality for a great price!

Get the #5 Combo! Best double cheeseburger & hand cut fries I've EVER had! It takes just a few minutes longer to put your order together. Everything is cook fresh to order, using quality ingredients which makes all the difference! Tell 'em Nessa sent you!

The food is amazing and the owner is really friendly. I've grown up eating the handcut fries and fresh burgers. The restaurant has a history with the town of Zebulon. It's continually growing. A little slice of the country life.

We ordered a scoop of butter pecan on a waffle cone and a small hot fudge Sunday . Our order was made quickly and the service was reasonably friendly. The dessert portions were plenty and were delicious, price was about average for a small local restaurant.

Great food, fast service, clean and enjoyable facility. Particularly impressed with obviously happy and motivated staff. Young lady their with CP or a similar challenge never missed a beat; taking and serving orders, register, by using and prep area clean up...never missed a beat and smiles an infectious and warm welcome.

What a delicious meal we had here. I really enjoy restaurants that know who they are, and they just go with it. No fancy French cuisine here -- just down-home cooking. Thank you for serving your customers as if we are family!

I started coming for the hotdogs because who doesn't love a good brightleaf? And hillbillies doesn't fail with the dogs AT ALL❤. Today I decided to try the burgers and at first was a tad bit skeptical but they did NOT disappoint. #5 double cheese burger with the fries are soooo flipping good. May be a small restaurant but the definitely deliver BIG taste with flavor! Stop by!!!

Great place to go for basic hot dogs and burgers. Simple menu, delicious food, highly affordable, and a fantastic staff. ALSO serves Bright Leaf hot dogs which are THE BEST hot dogs in the Carolinas.

So glad I found this place on Google! Great menu variety for such a tiny little place! Super yummy! Highly recommend! They have both beef hotdogs and pork hotdogs and have a pork-free chili as well! Great french fries and onion rings, and ice cream too!

Love it. Prices are in the same range as Burger King/Sonic, but the food is better. It's hot when you get it, and it tastes better. And the staff has been great every time I've been here.
