After many years of service, he will truly be missed.

I mainly felt the need to respond to the review left by Eric Chalk. Dr. Mauldin is a wonderful vet. He is the best vet I have ever taken my pets to. If you take the time to get to know him, he is very personable. He employees a receptionist who has a small disability. She does not have a weird attitude. Please reconsider your rating & post.

Very smart man knows his animals the people he has working for him are very polite would not take my dog anywhere else. I recommend Belmont Small animal hospital to anyone that has a pet

I have always had a wonderful experience at this vet. All personnel are kind and love animals. Even during COVID, they were accommodating and efficient. My cat and puppy love them too!

Dr. Maudin is the best! I've taken my pets to other vets who charged alot more and always had to keep returning for the same problem. His rates are way better and his knowledge and love for animals will always keep me taking my pets there!

Best vet around! Dr. Mauldin has treated my dogs my whole life and I still take them to him even after moving 45 minutes away from his practice b/c I trust his judgment and have seen him work miracles in emergency situations throughout the years. He keeps his fees low too and doesn't do unnecessary tests/scans/labs/etc. (like I have heard some of the other practices do just to raise the bill). I highly recommend him.

This place is the best in N.C. in my opinion. I have taken my dog to several places for his ears and nobody would tell me what was wrong. Just give me 30 days of meds and after 30 days it came right back. Thousands of dollars spent. And 1 visit with Belmont they told me what was wrong, didn't charge me and arm and a leg and the Dr. Is so very compassionate. You can tell he loves animals. Im so lucky to have found this place. My animals are happier too. Thanks Belmont.

Have not been here in a long time but the few times I did go the employees were always nice and helpful. Never had any issues and if I remember correctly they were cheaper than some other veterinarians. I don't live in the area anymore but if I did I would take my animals here with no problems.

The doctor was kind enough to fit me and my dog in. He apparently had a sprain and needed some anti-inflamitory. I appreciate the doctor and his staff to get us in on a bad weather day and being available. I have been coming to Dr. Mauldin for years since I was a kid and will continue to do so.

Felt great the minute I walked in the door very friendly and very helpful my 6week puppy had worms the assistant helped me right then and there ask how much she weighed called the doctor because he was not in to see what kind of medicine she should give me for me daisy baby and after all that charged me 6 dollars I couldn't believe it only cost me 6 dollars awesome place I will recommend any one to take there pet to Belmont animal clinic they are great with a caring and super attitude just a awesome place PIRIOD. Wonderful vet care for my dog! Dr. Mauldin is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have boarded my dog here as well. Great staff, too.

Belmont has been my vet of choice for almost a decade. I've taken all three of my dogs there for everything. The doctor is and staff are very caring and go the extra mile for you and your pets.

Dr Mauldin is a wonderful vet. My 14 yr old Jack Russell got a broken left rear leg, due to a new puppy. I called first and waited a short time and I had to leave her overnight and the evening she came home with a full leg cast. We had a recheck 3 weeks later and the cast was removed after 8 weeks. My older dog is just as good as she was previously.

They were great. They took good care of my friend and didn't take my bank account to do it. The doctor seemed to know his stuff and was polite and professional.

Found the RIGHT VET on the first shot! We're new to the area and going through the 'Setup our New Life' process here, which of course means a new Doc for our menagerie. Well...Dr. Mauldin and his crew are all top notch, his office is comfortable, and they are VERY reasonable on cost. The appointments were on time as well, which is HUUUGE!
