Cone Health Annie Penn Hospital

I was just there for a week. Started out in the ER, moved to ICU, and then to a regular room. My experience was a good one and I wanted to thank everyone that helped me out. I had some of the nicest people from the kitchen, nurses, nurses aides, and there's most I can leave out my doctor's. It's not normal that you end up laughing and carrying on with your doctor's but I did and it seems now if one of them doctors gets sick I've got to go back and help take of them. Lol. A joke between us.. But there was one main guy there that he deserves props. He main sure I was ok and even after I was moved he did check on me. He made my stay not as bad as it could if been. Thank you Edgar. If I don't have your name right I'm truly sorry. You know I was out of it while I was in ICU. But I'm sure you know who you are. You a special person and don't think that had gone unnoticed cause it truly hasn't.

My family and I cannot thank enough all the staff, every single person working at Annie Penn who provided the utmost professionalism and loving care to our loved one who recently passed there. With several choices of hospitals to go to, Annie Penn is the one myself and my family would choose to use .

I recently did two sleep apnea tests at this facility. From the time I was checked in through the ER until the time of my discharge the next morning, I was treated with respect, kindness and given much attention. Everyone was friendly including the police who were providing security. Going in at 8 pm and leaving early the following morning was one of my concerns since I had never been there before. The police security was welcomed. The sleep apnea staff is superb. Hats off to Robert and Debra. You guys made my nights there comfortable. You know your jobs and I commend you both. You are great assets. I would recommend Annie Penn. Thanks for the opportunity to review.

I've had outstanding interactions with the Cone Health system. Annie Penn is no different. The staff here are demonstrably up to Cone standard, always cross training, and it shows. The doctors, nurses, and PAs are kind and patient, willing to discuss my case and care without hesitation.

(Disclaimer: I'm a former HealthShare developer so my standards and expectations are pretty high. I've yet to be disappointed with any Cone facility or staff.)

Was there on 5-15-23 for surgery. Dr. Bridges, nurses & staff were very professional and caring. The only problem I encountered was at main desk.
The lady did not seem to believe that I had been called and asked to arrive early. She ask unnecessary questions.

I’ve had to come to Annie Penn for serious medical problems on several occasions and have never had to wait in the waiting room more than it takes to get one triaged. The nurses and doctors have always been very kind to me. I’ve always gotten wonderful treatment and care. This has all happened during Covid. All I have to say is, if one is truly sick then one will not have to wait. I’ve never used the ED for a minor injury or cold- I’ve only been for serious issues that required prompt treatment. The facility is always clean and I’ve always been given warm blankets and appropriate pain management. I’m very grateful to the ED staff of Annie Penn for always recognizing the seriousness of my situation and treating me well.

Came in with appendicitis at 0300, could barely stand, they had a wheel chair under me in minutes, they took my info quickly and had me in a bed all within 10 minutes of coming through the door. As it should be for an emergency. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and told me exactly what was going to happen and when to the best of their abilities, despite the fluid nature of an emergency setting they really kept up with me. The appendectomy was done and I was out by 1100 (I requested not to stay unless necessary).

These Drs and nurses delivered my baby boy because we (my husband and I) was too far away from any delivery hospital to make it there before he was born. Fast forward 2 years later and they helped me when he had a febrile seizure and told me what to do and how to help him. Hes survived so much he's such a beautiful strong soul with the help of our loving Jesus and Annie Penn ER.

I have been going to Annie Penn Hospital since December of 2017. I was diagnosed with primary liver cancer and chose to be treated at Annie Penn Cancer Center. From day one, I have been treated EXCELLENT by every person I have come in contact with! I am cancer free now, for 19 months, but I continue to drive down from Collinsville, VA every 6 months for blood work, CT scan and doctors' visit, and I am still treated with excellency each and every time, by each and every person! I actually enjoy going back!! Maybe it's my frame of mind, maybe it's my attitude, maybe it's my joy of having a second chance to live that makes MY Annie Penn experience so enjoyable! But the people, service, atmosphere and compassion sure make it pleasant as well!! #LOOKFORTHEGOOD

Brought my 5 year old daughter in for an arm injury. The ER staff from start to finish were absolutely amazing. Each one were courteous, caring, and made our visit great. Thank you for the great care during a stressful event.

Two admissions with in a month, both times were amazing experiences. Annie Penn has become a caring hospital that was well needed in Rockingham County. Every staff member that I came in contact with treated me with so much respect.
I will be in and out of AP for quite some time due to a cancer diagnosis, that would have gone unnoticed if not for several wonderful doctors at AP, I have no doubts that I will continue to receive quality care.

First time ever being admitted to a hospital. Kind and compassionate staff made me feel like they really cared to make me comfortable and help me understand why I was feeling the pain I was feeling. Left with a good understanding of my ailment and steps to take to heal in time.

My ER visit to Cone Reidsville was very good. From wait time, nurse, Doctor and tests went smooth.

So my review is specifically for Ingrid Costner the finicial assistant for my paperwork threw Care Connect (Free Rockingham clinic ).She is friendly! Extremely orginized&always available. So refreshing to have someone who is qualified for their job&enjoys their job!

I really appreciate the doctor and the nurses who came in and helped me out with my back they was really nice kind and gentle with me and I'm very appreciative of the custodian who came in and cleaned my room she was really respectful and very nice💟

Just wanted to say thank you for taking such good care of my father. It makes a world of difference when have someone sick and you dont have to worry about when they are in hospital. Thank each n everyone for you kindness.

Best care in Rockingham County. Wait times are low, bedside manners are the best. A huge Thank you to the ER staff prompt and professional.

I was in this hospital for 5 days and 4 nights. I understand no one likes hospital but this hospital has great nurses and a fantastic doctor. I want to say thank you for everything.
