This firm collected on an outstanding collection of mine we considered "uncollectable". If you need someone to help you collect from clients/customers that don't want to pay for services you provided, call these folks- they'll get it done for you, they are experts!

No one wants to be in a situation where they have to deal with a debt collection attorney, but the pandemic didn't really care what we wanted in any part of our lives. I will say that Everett has been very easy to deal with and has helped make this unfortunate processes a bit easier to get through. If you treat people with respect and grace they will return the kindness. Life sometimes takes an unexpected turn and it's how you deal with the changes that make all the difference. Keep your head held high and know you will get through this. ❤

Called this place this a.m. as I had a court date. Being sued. They gave me a re!sonable payment plan and most cordial..+

If you have the pleasure of having to work with this company, make sure and Lawyer up. You will be glad that you did.

They have one goal- - to ruin lives!!! My experience with this company has been traumatizing. After today, I’m in the process of filing a counter suit against them. It’s understandable that they have a job to do, they are debt collectors. They are really just out for that, the debt owed. However, when people are interested in settling, and making steps to do so, they really don’t care. They will take your last dollar, put you in further debt, just to get what’s left of you. They will garnish down to the last dollar in your account without notification and despite attempts at resolution.
If you can an avoid dealing with Stephen Bruce and Associates, do so. They don’t try to settle debts, they’ll ruin you!! There is a lot that is unethical about their approach and that’s what my lawyer will address.

These people have been harassing us trying to get in touch with some lady for a long time. Came by our house and we told them she doesn’t live here and she nearly wanted to argue with us. We constantly get letters till this day.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. Long story short, instead of going for a basic garnishment of my paycheck after 6 months of me trying to work with them with mixed results and contradictions at best, they went for a writ of garnishment and took both my husband and my whole paychecks causing our bank account to go into the negative and bouncing all of the bills we already had out. Shame on Discover for using them and shame on them for doing this to people who were working on paying the debt instead of running from it! We have no food, no gas, I don't know how I'm getting to work and they want me to pay the full amount up from even though they have all of my financials. I am paying off other creditors that have been wonderful and have worked with me when money has been tight, but these are the most under-handed people I've dealt with. My advice if you hear from them, lawyer up.

Horrible Place. Horrible People. Violated my banking privacy to garnish my check for a Discover account that I do not own. Discover has no record of me. ZERO. I call this bottom feeding business and they tell me it's related to a family member's account and there's nothing I can do. My entire paycheck...gone. My mortgage payment....gone for an account that is not mine nor have I ever been linked to it. They found a loophole in a broken system and used it to hurt an innocent human. Stay far far away from this place. They are perfectly fine violating my banking privacy but they won't show their faces on their website. Legal action is in the works. Watch your accounts closely!

Very rude staff, and receptionists. I asked why they would leave court documents at my house unsealed, and they claimed it was within their rights, and that legally they could do that. Violation of privacy is the lingering thought. Would not recommend them at all. Everyone here has a terrible attitude. Would give zero negative stars if possible. Seems like a majority of their ratings are bad anyway. After COVID, though they may not be able to keep their contracts. So long.

Good luck with trying to coordinate anything, I had to work on my status and updates myself and act as a go between from my job to them and not only that they were over paid and this is the 5th day I have waited on my refund because it did not go out 5 days ago as I was told. I would urge anyone to go ahead and have a attorney take care of your debt and for some reason they did not "receive" payments and checks had to be sent again. Some of the staff is helpful some such as the one I talked with today is lazy and do not want to answer question or handle task.
