We stopped here for dinner for the first time despite living in North Augusta for so long and visiting just about every restaurant here. We should have come here a long time ago – the food was excellent, the setting was relaxed, and the service was very pleasant.

Our server, Cody, was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We asked to move tables, and they were able to accommodate this easily.

We loved all of the food that we tried. The French Onion Soup and Chorizo Soup were savory and warm. They did not have any bottles of Prosecco left, but we were able to try a bottle of Rose. Please be aware that they do not serve cocktails or mixed drinks here, just beer or wine as far as I am aware. The two cakes we grabbed to-go were also fantastic – seriously do NOT skip dessert!!

When I glanced at the bill, I noticed that they forgot to charge me for the bottle of wine, but I notified the server, and he was able to quickly fix this and adjust the charges on my card with no hassle!

Overall, our visit was very pleasant and every staff member that spoke with us was very nice. We will come back to experience more of those delicious dishes (and cakes).

Truly amazing breakfast/brunch! What a nice way to start your Sunday morning with crème brûlée French toast! The cakes were great, as was my wife's croque mademoiselle!

We'll definitely be coming back!

**UPDATE**

Came back, still great food! ❤

Manuel's Bread Cafe is a very nice spot to relax and have a great meal! Their outdoor seating area is perfect for soaking up some sun while enjoying their scrumptious food, but watch out for the mosquitoes. The service is top-notch, and although the prices are a bit steep, we had a great dinner.

My husband and I came here for a “happy hour” however no happy hour to be had. We ended up ordering appetizers and drinks. The appetizers were super filling! We ended with Dessert.

I highly recommend the duck poutine! It smelled so good when it arrived at our table that we dug right in and I forgot to photograph it but I’ll post proof of just how good it was!

The Amoretto cake is moist, sweet and beautiful to look at. It was almost too sweet to finish.

The patio is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy your company— my certainly was worth it! Spending afternoons like this with my husband are some of my absolute favorites.

We’ll be back!

I ate at this restaurant yesterday,I had the cod fish and chips and a side salad. Oh I will go again. The presentation was great, and the food was just as good.I also had a slice of pineapple cake ,and coffee the coffee could have be a little warmer but all was great. They next I would like to invite some of and sat outside. I dine in very cozy setting.I was also told they had take out. Also the soup sounds as it would be exciting and delicious an asparagus and potato soup.??

I love loved the nightime outdoor ambiance! My server Reece was attentive, fun, pleasant, and efficient. He made me feel like family. The dessert, espresso, champagne, and welcoming conversation with my server made tonight the perfect nightcap on a beautiful night out. I plan to return during my visits to North Augusta.

Love my experience at Manuel's Bread Cafe. The food was very good and taste. The service was also fabulous. I had a Wasabi barbecue burger with kimchi mayo, fries, a side salad, and caramel latte. My appetizer was fried ravioli with marinara sauce and pesto. Delicious! The atmosphere was quaint and cozy. Nestled in a charming upcoming neighborhood not far from a gorgeous park with riverfront view!

What a delightful place for lunch!
LOCATION absolutely adorable, serene and romantic lane, the sort of spot you want to linger...
SERVICE anticipating every need - such a nice change from the "having to remind them twice you haven't got a napkin yet" norm...
MENU what a delight - great, fresh, creative food that doesn't come out of a can or freezer, is healthy, intriguing and delicious - I'd call it "fresh French".
Recommending to all my friends and can't wait to return to try more dishes.
What we had: caesar salad, burger with truffle fries.

Everything I have ordered here has been amazing, the first time I went I ordered the French dip sandwich and it was the best one I have had in my life. The French onion soup is also amazing. This is located right in the middle in a really cool neighborhood!

First time visiting. We were seated within 10 mins of arriving. The food and staff were amazing. I will definitely be returning and making a reservation in case seating isn't readily available.

Let's start with the only downside: it's a tight venue. So if it's busy, you'll have some difficulty moving around. There is outdoor seating though and I recommend it when it's crowded.

Now the positives. Amazing service. We sat at the bar the last time we were there. We got constant attention from our server. The manager was discussing wines with us across the bar as she did other things. She was not only insightful, but gave us the honest take on best bottles they had.

Top that off with the servers jumping in and taking photos of us and with us; it was a great time. We had the ravioli appetizer, and I have to give it top marks. The fresh pesto at the center was one of the best pestos I've had. Definitely worth a try.

If you're in Augusta, this should be your first choice for restaurants.

My Beau and I went there for a lunch as it was amazing. He had the exotic burger (boar, wagyu, buffalo...) and I had the kobe burger..they were both beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. The view from the outdoor seating area was so soothing! Every time I've come here, it's been a great experience.

Highly recommend!!!

We love the food here and I’ve chosen this spot for my birthday dinner on several occasions. There is a fixed menu that rarely changes plus several daily specials every day. My favorite lunch is the duck confit salad but my friends love the Kobe burger. The fries here are the best and are fried in peanut oil. For dinner, I love the chicken piccata but sometimes get the beef bourguignon - both are excellent. My husband likes the steak or the fish specials. Their onion soup is outstanding. They have an extensive dessert menu with a variety of cakes, cheesecakes, and creme brûlée. The wait staff is usually attentive and knowledgeable about wine pairings. The inside of the cafe is small and the tables are close together and it can be loud. We prefer to eat outdoors year round. There is a large outdoor dining area that is covered with ceiling fans and large heaters, so we’ve comfortably eaten in all seasons and weather conditions.

One of the premier places to dine in the CSRA! Always created with excellence, the dishes are delicious and well presented. Be sure to try the beet salad and whatever the daily special is. I had a burger wrap once which was the best I have ever had. Staff is courteous and professional. We always send our corporate visitors here and it never disappoints. ❤❤

Wait staff was super friendly and willing to help with any suggestions. We would highly recommend ANY of the salads but thoroughly enjoyed the freshness of the grilled salmon salad and Goat Cheese and Beet Salad (add the chicken). Any of the cakes are excellent choices as well, but if you can, go for the strawberry cake. You won’t regret a trip here.

Kind of upset I didn't know about this cozy little spot! They had a great wine list and the food was even better. The fries to start with were piping hot, and the red pepper aioli really added to the flavor. The steak for 2 came out on a giant cutting board and was cooked perfectly. The sides with it were more than enough for two people. Can't wait to try more on the menu!

We went there for lunch during a week day. I only had my, 'Zinger' power chair that day to get around. The restaurant is quite quaint and cozy. We decided to have lunch with them that day I looked around and knew this was going to be a bit of a challenge for my maneuvering skills.
I needed to, of course, use their facilities. With the assistance of one of the managers and I believe the owner, was able to navigate my way back to the restroom. No problem!
We sat outside in the nice air on their veranda. Lunch was exceptional, the staff was wonderful and accommodating.
The ambiance was superb, decor is beautiful and reminiscent of European eateries. Cudos and much thanks for the lovely kindness and wonderful food!

We will be going back to check out the rest of their menus.
Thanks again!
