One of the best vets I've ever been to. My family has been seeing Dr Benton for 30 years. The staff has always been kind, understanding, and helpful. I always recommend Charleston Heights.

I switched to Charleston Heights after a recommendation from my good friend and after having a phone call with the clinic. My dog is older and I was really unhappy with our experience at the vet he had gone to for years. The experience at CH was amazing. From my initial call all my questions were answered and they were so nice and accommodating. We were seen immediately at our appointment and the staff was so patient with my grumpy old man when he was being ornery. It felt like they truly cared about my boy. Pricing is competitive and received a really thoughtful card after our appointment. Highly recommend!

We were visiting from out of town and our dog unexpectedly ran out of her medication.

Even though we didn’t have an appointment, they were able to contact our vet back home and get a prescription filled in Charleston.

Have been taking my dogs here for several years. Not an up to date, modern facility, but the two most caring vets you'll ever find. Highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough great things about this vet clinic. All of our animals have been seen here. Every single member of the staff from reception to techs to the doctors always make us feel so very welcome. Even in times that any pet parent wishes would never happen they are so amazing. Our older dog Chanel had been sick but had her good days and her bad days. Luckily since today was Thursday, their extended hours really made a difference. The techs came out as soon as we got there and carried her in on a stretcher. She was made as comfortable as possible and was never alone. More than anything we were lucky that in the end Chanel was surrounded by people who truly cared for her. I HIGHLY recommend this veterinarian clinic!!

Everyone here is lovely from the front desk to the techs to the veterinarians. My pets have seen both Dr Benton and Dr Garrett and both have been wonderful. Rarely have to wait in the waiting area longer than 5 minutes, which is great because my cats are very verbal about their carriers! The parking situation is a little tough but overall, great practice.

I just saw Dr. Erin Garrett this morning as a new patient for my dogs. They were in for an annual and let me say it was one of the most thorough exams my pets have ever received. I loved that it was the vet that was present and doing the vaccines, blood draw and she even gave my dogs a complimentary nail trim as part of their annual visit. Also their office cat, “Inky,” is pretty cute too. Highly recommend this practice.

Dr Benton and Dr Garrett has been our vet. for every pet we've owned for the last 23 years. She is knowledgeable, caring, and takes time to listen to concerns. I rescued a 10 year old Jack Russell mix with some health issues in July, 2019 and selected Charleston Heights Vet Clinic because it was just a few miles from home and the rescue group said they were a great clinic. They were right. Everyone is friendly and patient with me, answering my many questions, and searching the best options for treatment. They are very loving toward my girl, and treat her as though she's the only patient they have. Just a wonderful group of ladies to deal with and I'm so glad I chose this clinic.

I have been taking my pets to Charleston Heights Veterinary Clinic for more than 12 years. I have 3 dogs that I love. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else! They have treated me and my pets with the utmost care. They truly care for my pets and have always have been amazing. Their costs are fair and much cheaper than other vets I have been to in Charleston. I highly recommend them to all my friends and coworkers.

I am so thankful I found Charleston Heights!! Staff is responsive and extremely personable. Dr. Garrett is honestly the kindest soul, and genuinely loves all animals. My sweet Bartholomew was welcomed with open arms and has been treated graciously and with the upmost care. Cost is always upfront and never any hidden fees. Treatment and procedures are discussed at length and very informative.

Great experience! We are new patients and they were able to get us in pretty quickly for a wellness exam and to check out a possible UTI issue (prior to calling them I had contacted 2 other vet offices in the area that couldn’t accommodate for a potentially urgent issue). Samantha, Roberta and Dr Garrett were all warm professional and personable too! Dr Benton even popped in to share her experience of switching over to a robotic litter box as I mentioned being interested in possibly changing over-I thought that was really sweet.
They were all really gentle with my fairly stressed out cats and they really made an effort to not put them through anything that would create more distress-they let them stay in the carrier for the exam as much as possible. Bonus: the pricing was really quite reasonable for the top notch thorough care we received today. So happy to have found them! Thank y’all so much!!

Update: Dr Garrett called and wanted to do a follow up on my cats after they were both treated for a possible UTI. She had felt a lump under the skin of one of my cats and wanted to check to see if it has dissipated and also wanted to recheck my other cat just as a precaution. The lump she felt appeared to be a cyst but she extracted some fluid to examine it and then confirmed using a stain. She is recommending that we remove it and since it is not urgent she suggested that we just plan to do it at the same time that we schedule to have their teeth cleaned since he will already be under anesthesia.

She did not charge me for this (extremely thorough) follow up visit that included testing…and as I kept thanking her, she kept thanking ME for bringing them back in so that she could re-examine them.

Although it is so unfortunate that this kind of genuine care & consideration is such a rarity these days, I am so, SO grateful that I have found a vet office that provides this kind of phenomenal care!

Don’t hesitate to bring your fur babies here! I brought mine here based on the reviews that I read and the outstanding experiences others have shared have become my experience!

We are from out or town, and my dog got tore up by ants. I searched for a good quality vet to see him and Dr. Benton and Angela took amazing care of him. Regarding covid and being booked they got him in and was done within 30 mins. Dr. Benton was extremely nice and carrying for my dog, even though he doesn't come here regularly. Hands down one of the best vets we've been to. Thanks so much for taking care of my baby! You all rock!
